Not sure about Oregon, but I know Dan has been enjoying a great stretch of weather (Indian Summer).

It's been chilly here the last few days. But that will just make us appreciate the warmth in California in three weeks!

Okay, here's a thought.

How about if I ask who all would like to meet Lara on the DISboard?

I will assemble all your names, put them in an email, and send it to her. Then she would almost certainly have to at least introduce herself, right? Peer pressure, ya know. I think it might work.

Well....I am off to get the kids ready for school and then I'm going to take advantage of being home ALL ALONE today and I'm going to do some cleaning and organizing around my house!!! Maybe I'll do a little scrapbooking, too.

Good morning all! Many thanks for all our Veterans!

My oldest is 16 today. A few days this week, I thought he wasn't going to make it. Ahhh, the joys of raising teenagers!

The kids had school today? I don't think we've ever lived anywhere that the kids weren't off school on Veterans' Day. It's also my son's and mom's birthday. Neither one has ever had to work or go to school on their birthday. Spoiled they are!
