SINCE YOUR OF THE SAME AGE, WE CAN SAY REMEMBER WHEN!!!!! AND YOU WILL IF YOU WERE EVER INTO THE BAND RUSH, THEY MADE A DOCUMENTRY ON THEM AND ITS OUT NOW. A BIT OF IT IS LOCAL HERE, SINCE NEIL PEART THE DRUMMER WENT TO SAME HIGHSCHOOL AS LAURA AND I. I SAW SOME FAMILIAR FACES WHEN THEY INTERVIEWED HIS FAMILY AND HAD PHOTOS OF HIS FAMILY. BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES FROM LOCAL HIGHSCHOOL DANCES ETC.

Maybe I will remember. I worked in the record business for 5 years 1977-1982so there is alot that is hazy,lol. I did work several Rush concerts. Here in Houston, ZZ Top was the early 70's high school dance band. It is amazing that they are still at it. These days I am a Jimmy Buffet fan. Any other Parrotheads on the Cruise?

I don't think so. It's harder to photograph because of how the ship is placed. There is one of the stern though.

Ahhhh!! #6686 is our room for the March 31st, 2011 cruise. Love that we have two portholes!!!!

As Wally said, we are back to reality for a while. We got to meet up again with Stacey & George and Dan & Sue. We did a little eating and drinking around the world Stacey saved me from a bee attack. We all know I am terrified of sharks, but next on that list is bugs So we are all sitting on the steps next to the lagoon at Epcot across from Italy having a good time when out of no where a bee comes flying straight at my head Out of sheer pride I made a desperate attempt to remain calm and failed miserably What wound up happening was a combination of me trying to disappear into thin air by will power alone while shaking my head side to side to shoo away the bee. I didn't use my hands because I was holding ravioli that was wicked good and I didn't want to drop it but then the bee gets caught up in my hair! I can see it out of the corner of my eye so I am really freaking out and I hear this high pitched keening noise then realize I'm the one making the noise Stacey scooped up the bee with my hat and got it out of my hair Gotta give Stacey props becasue it turns out SHE is allergic to bee stings, so that was very brave

It is definitely a small world, especially in WDW. While we were in line for some sushi in Japan, Chris (dvc4life) from the SSMC09 cruise spotted us and stopped to say hi! It was so cool to run into her!

Oh my, Ian, I'll have to read this one to DH because he is one of the biggest RUSH fans I know!! He still listens to them all the time (it's one of his driving CD's) and goes to see them whenever they are close. He even took our DS (when he was 12 I think) to see then too. Now they both love them!!! Saw the Documentary - they are a good bunch of guys!

A question for previous Members Cruisers.... I know one of the cool things about the Members Cruise is all the DVC goodies that are passed out...Are they passed out per room or per passenger? Kris is also a DVC member, but as DVC member sisters sharing in a room, will we each get to bring our own things home??

They will leave one for each person in the room.

Michael is correct. The last time we sailed on the MC we had my DBFF with us and she is not DVC and she got one of everything just like we did. There are sometimes special gifts where there is only one or two per stateroom, no matter how many are staying there.
