Hey, can someone please post a photo of the gifts left behind each day by DVC?

Gosh, I miss all of my DISpeeps! Work is so incredibly boring!

My sister stole my DCL H2o products (from about ten years ago) while she was staying at my house. I have the main bathroom fully stocked with shampoo and conditioner. Why would she think it's ok to take my DCL products off of my bedroom bathroom counter?! She must have thought she was on vacation too. They were the bigger ones, too. I liked to keep them to compare how much smaller they keep getting.

When are you cruising next year?

We are going on the Dream on January 12, 2012, then we are on Podcast Cruise 4.0 in December on the Fantasy I believe those dates are December 8th through the 15th. The Podcast cruise will have better entertainment value than this years DVC Member cruise and won't cost me an added $1000.

Last year's member's cruise had AWFUL service!!!! I was so impressed with the service this year!! We even gave extra on our tips it was THAT good!!

And I'm pretty sure this is our last member's cruise, too. It's overpriced to pay for the "entertainment" and "free gifts". And I think it's a bunch of doggie doo-doo that one of our gifts is RCI pins. I didn't join DVC to get RCI exchanges....if I wanted that I'd have joined a different time share!!! I would much rather plan a cruise with everyone on this thread and make it our own personal member's cruise. Some of the FE gifts were better than most of the DVC gifts anyways!!

Agreed, we gave all of our people extra tip, Our hostess "Fran" was awsomesauce. She made sure we had plenty of shampoo, towels etc. And most of all she actually introduced herself, that has not happened since our first Member cruise 4 years ago. The wait staff was awesome and was more then eager to accept the challenge of handling the number of is "DisPeeps" that were in the large section of the dining room on our rotation.

I was still a little dissapponited in DCL not getting everyone in the same areas and on the same rotation for dinner, but then again we did ask them to handle like over 100 people that we all had linked.

Milford, Jason's sad that he didn't get to share that cigar and drink with you! It's definitely on his list of things to do in the future. And speaking of Jason. He had been somewhat reluctant to really discuss moving to Florida and now he's definitely on the side of making it happen! So, with any luck, sometime in the next decade (5-10 years) we'll be making a move!

My sinuses will be so happy to move! We weren't on the ground here for half an hour (still in the car) and my sinuses were swelling and I was having a reaction to all the grass pollen here. I only had one day of sinus trouble in Florida and that's when we were driving around the wildlife refuge on the dirt road and all the long grasses were smacking against the car as we drove along.

I know what you mean on the sinus thing, it rained the whole way home on Thursday, its like we hit the Florida/Georgia state line and wham. During our drive north my cough returned as well as the sinus drainage from my allergies.

Tell Jason we will have to make plans to correct that.

Hopefully we will be able to make the move to Florida at some time. Got Wally on helping me locate a suitable position in an IT type job down that way.

OH! You know what?! I kept thinking we got a pin in our stateroom from RCI...I forgot I grabbed the pin at the desk. I'll send you the one I grabbed if you want it. Honestly, I don't know why I grabbed one....like I said...I'm not really interested in RCI.

On a totally different subject....can you believe I haven't even started to unpack yet?!

I haven't done much either. At least we only had two days worth of dirty clothes that we came home with. The rest we washed at BLT. That should make the process easier.

ID LIKE TO VENT WITH A DVC REP BUT I FEEL LIKE IT FALLS ON DEAF EARS. AT LEAST DISNEY ITSELF LISTENS TO WHAT YOU FEEL IS GREAT AND WHAT NEEDS CHANGING.

ANYWAYS I HAD TO GET THAT OFF MY CHEST!

I wonder if we shouldn't all email Member Satisfaction about our dissatisfaction with DVC's offerings on the cruise? May not do any good, but it couldn't hurt.

I did not think that would be a fun tour for me. Wally disagreed Now I've got you, Andy and Wally plotting against me ... sheesh.

I just looked at the alternate thread to see if there was anything new there (nope), and saw your update about the Pirate Photo opportunity. That reminded me that I never gave you anything for the sitting fee!!! I didn't have any cash with me due to the Pirate outfit, and just figured I would catch you later. But never thought about it again, even while buying the photo. I am so sorry!

There is no reason you should have to foot the bill for me, especially with everything else you did for us. So I would be happy to mail out a check to help out. I would say that I'd buy you two drinks on the next cruise, but there's no telling when we'll meet up again. So just let me know what you prefer. And thanks again for arranging the group photo!

Makes sense! I know I should probably break out the neti pot, but I really don't like using it. Jason swears by it, but it still ooks me out a bit.

OH LOOK!!! I FOUND A HAPPY DVC MEMBER WHOM I MUST OF CONVERTED TO KONK KOOLERS AND LOOKING VERY RELAXED WEARING HIS CANADIAN BEACH ATTIRE!

Canadian EH!!! Ian I couldn't disagree with you at all on the DVC treatment of current DVC members. Last year I complained to our past VP Mr. useless Lewis about having points in BLT and not being able to use the lounge if we are staying at another DVC resort. I felt that if I am paying monthly maintenance fees, I should be able to use the lounge if it is not crowded and as anyone can tell you, once the fireworks end, the lounge is empty. DVC wouldn't even allow its own members to support the lounge at BLT. Well anyway, the only good thing now after the cruise is HOCKEY SEASON IS STARTING..........

I just wanted to say

so much for all the wonderful planning all the Dispeeps did, it was such an awesomesauce experience, one I'll never ever forget.

I've been pretty sick since I got back:
I developed a bad cold last Wednesday while on the cruise. Then female mother nature crept in, she really does have a sense of humour. Rained on us while at MK, then at Epcot, rode Test Track (LOVED IT ).

The CM at TT said, get the "orange ticket" at Mission Space...well...Saw the "little bags" in the ride for undigested food, thought uh-oh....As soon as the ride started, my eyes started spinning. I seriously was looking for the EJECT button, no go... Ride stopped, sat down and drank some water.

Walked to Le Cellier, couldn't even eat a grain of rice. Allen had to wheelchair me because I was soooo sick.

Got back to BWV, not even 10 minutes into sleeptime, the Fire Alarm started to go off. I couldn't get up, I was that sick. Allen checked it out, said it was a test. Then it went off AGAIN, and AGAIN, and AGAIN. By the fourth time Allen went down to the desk to make a formal compaint. While he was there, the alarm went off again, by this time the pitch was so painful, I walked outside and laid down on one of the recliners by the pool. Lucky it was close by...Then....wait for it..

It started to rain on me.
Long story short, Disney magic worked it's way, yet again, and was able to comp us for one night.

I'm going to crawl back in bed now. Didn't want my Dispeeps to think that
you were forgotten.

Reallity is here, it has set in and it sucks! Last week it was freedom, sunshine and palm trees. Now it's back to work, rain and falling leaves. I had a blast on vacation. I did things that were waaaaaay out of my comfort zone and I'm sure there are plenty of incriminating photos to prove it. You guys turned an underwealming and overpriced cruise into one that was worth ten times more!! I thank you all for it!

Thanks Jennifer! Not as incriminating as I thought but it proves I did get on stage in front of a bunch of people.

I hope you feel better! I too am sick. Not enough to knock me out of commission but enough to feel like I'm walking around in a daze. I have been sleeping every chance I can get though.

Allen & I tried to plunder and pillage the thong from Junior with our swords

To no avail

Wally tried to shoot Junior's thong

Ian showed Junior & Wally a "special tree" where they might be able to lay the thong to rest in an appropriate spot for a thong

Mary Poppins said that was not allowed

So Junior decide to wear the thong and shake his money maker

Sereiously, I totally agree with Junior. You guys made this cruise worth it. I got out of my comfort zone. I am actually fairly antisocial but you guys, I like so I got to be sociable, make new friends and never felt uncomfortable at all
