IM THE DISNEY FANATIC, SO I LEAVE ROOM TO BUY CLOTHES THERE. I TRY NOT TO BRING MUCH RESTOCK UP ON DISNEY SHIRTS ETC. IM A WALKING DVC ADVERTISEMENT IVE BEEN GIVING CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISISM ON THE LAST 3 MEMBER CRUISES ABOUT HAVING NO GOLF SHIRTS WITH DVC CRUISE LOGO ON THEM. ON THE LEGENDS CRUISE THEY HAD REALLY NICE DARK BLUE SHIRTS WITH GOLD LETTERING STITCHED IN. THEY SOLD RIGHT OUT. SOMETIMES I WONDER ABOUT WHO DOES THE PLANNING.

The problem is that we are driving straight through after a football game on SAturday morning for my son. We won't have time to do any shopping. We will be staying over at my brother's condo in Cape Canaveral. I don't suppose there are any disney shops nearby, but then again, there may be some beach shops with that stuff I might have to hit up on the way to the port.

I read some reviews that talked about the loud atmosphere. We were thinking something quieter would be nice. The boys decided to eat at Goode's and Jason and I went to Fulton's for dinner instead. We got chowder, the lobster and crab feast and a cherry cobbler for dessert. Yummy!! Service was outstanding too!

Urban Spoon is much better than Yelp, IMO. Free app, and would be well worth it if it did cost anything! We have used it several times when we were on the road, and had some great meals at unexpected places!

I've used Urban Spoon too, but tend to find Yelp more helpful. But, I started using Yelp before Urban Spoon started adding user reviews. I love the user reviews. Plus, I use Yelp for other things besides food. For example, I found a place on Yelp this morning that I'm going to go to today for a mani/pedi.

I've got my mani pedi planned for Thursday. I'm using a groupon I bought last week. I'll be ready for flip flops soon. I love the gel nails. I'm addicted to them.

I need to talk with the salon about what to do with my nails. The sunscreen I use eats right through nail polish and acrylic. They've got to know what to do about that in Florida, right? Because the folks in Oregon are clueless!!

I attempted "some" packing last night. Sort of. I picked out a few disney outfits for my daughter and looked through my son's clothes. I thought I had more Disney stuff. Grrr. Although i do have several disney purses....which one to take is the real decision.

We went through the stuff I pulled out to practice pack last night. Discovered that I can take less by matching multiple shorts with a couple of shirts. Who knew?

I'm down to 4 pairs of shorts, 2 dressier shirts, 2 pair of casual slacks and a couple of shirts.

Maybe we need to start Geranimals for adult men!

hi everone, been busy here. We had a major bridge closure and I was 45 minutes late to work yesterday. No time to play. I took the back road yesterday to avoid the headache of all those who had to go over the reminaining bridge. Today , I decided to test my luck with the highway. It took 12 minutes. I guess at 7:50 anyone who needed to be in Louisville was already in the thick of things closer to the bridge. I am so glad that I made the decision I did. The nice thing is I needed to be in the left lane to go straigh while everyone else had to get in the right lane to get on 65 south. Woo hoo.
I went to the Disney store on Sunday and was so dissappointed in the shirt choices and miscellaneous items. I couldn't find anything I liked. So, I went to Walmart and got the boys Saar Wars shirts. Who sells Disney stuff? I alreayd tried Walmart, Target and Meijers.

Anne, I just heard about the Sherman Minton Bridge closure. I am so glad I don't have to cross the Ohio River to go to work anymore. It's supposed to be closed for several months, I think?

Can't help on the Disney clothes. I can say they are NOT at Menards, Home Depot, or Lowes.

There's one near I-65 somewhere in TN, that I have saved on the GPS. They had quited a bit of stuff, probably a year old, but we didn't find anything to buy. Kinda like going to Big Lots/Odd Lots. You never know what they'll have, but if you find something you like then it's worth it. They had a billboard on the interstate, if you make it there before they close.
