Katia? Really who in the world came up with that name? That would be like naming one Milford. :scared1:

Of course I always have this fear that they would pick my name and it would end up being one of those really bad ones. :confused3

Shucks I was hopping for the name Hurricane Karen :scared1: :lmao:

DW has suitcases out but Daisy decided she wanted to pack stuff too so she could come with us. She took our stuffed Minnie and stuffed Daisy and put them in the suitcase and then sat in there too. :cutie:

So sweet! I wish DCL was a dog friendly cruise line.

I took the interpreter certification sample test yesterday. If I had just gone with my gut, I would definitely pass with flying colors (like 80-90% range). My parents and I have made an agreement that if I pass it on the first try, they'll treat me to a Nook Color. I'd better pass it on the first try- the first time you take the test, it costs something like $300 :scared1: !!

Hey everyone!!

FINISHED with my FE gifts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sooooo excited...in exactly three weeks at this time (EST), we will all be meeting up on our beautiful ship!!! Chicago DISmeet peeps, remember to wear your Chicago Mickey shirts.:cool1:

I finally finished mine too! One suitcase down, so many more to go

:wave2: I'm right here! It was an AWESOMESAUCE weekend! On Saturday morning we went to my sister's house in Madison for a Potter family DisCrafting, Food and Conversation Magical :wizard: Gathering that included the obligatory shopping trip. Dan and Sue went home late Saturday night and we spent the night. On Sunday morning, I woke to Laura's :dog:, Tanner (a Rhodesian Ridge back that weighs in the neighborhood of 120 lbs) leaping on the bed after Nancy got up. HELLO!!!!! :scared1::scared1: He was very happy to visit me! :rotfl2:

We had a wonderful breakfast of cinnamon french toast, eggs, sausage, home made tomato juice thanks to Laura's charming Husband. The we hit the road for home. Got home, fed the kitties, and left again to go to a baseball game (the Rattler's win again! :cheer2:) followed by a picnic with the players and coaches.

WHEW! It was was busy and fun filled weekend! :woohoo:

We hope that all of our east coast Dispeeps are doing well today and that they are safe. :grouphug:

Our cats like to get into the suitcases as well when ever we pull them out to go anywhere ... :confused3 They want to travel too! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

You'll do well! :thumbsup2 Here's some pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust: to help you!

We packed most of Junior's stuff tonight and some of my stuff. Mainly what we'll be wearing for dinner on the ship. We still have to pack our casual clothes, bathing suits, etc. I can't pack the kids' stuff until just before we leave because I'm having a shortage of shorts in my house for them. :lmao: I do believe Emilee just went through a growth spurt because all of the shorts that fit her just about a month ago don't fit her anymore. And of course trying to find shorts THIS time of year is next to impossible. And Brandon...yeah, all he has is those cotton shorts and the sports type shorts. NO jean shorts for him. I am having a hard time finding jeans to fit him right now let alone jean shorts! UGH!

On a funnier note...we tried on our pirate night costumes. (They're just cheap-o's from Party City) DD told Junior that he looks funny and DS just kind of laughed at us.

Doesn't he look funny anyway? :rotfl::rotfl:

I am reading about people that are packing:rotfl2::rotfl2:

but then I am a guy, I will pack the night before:confused3

I am going have to ask you to surrender your guy card please. You have started the packing process the night before you leave. According to Man Rule 379.563 sec (A) sub section 1.2 paragraph 8 (that would be the very fine print) "When going a trip whence there will at least one (1) overnight stay, packing for said trip, CANNOT begin until 20 minutes prior to leaving the house for said trip. The penalty for violating this rule is the revocation of your GUY card." :sad2:

Night before I will be sleeping :rotfl:

Since we are flying out of Milwaukee with an 9a departure time, :scared1: we are planning to do a Park Sleep Fly deal. It's easier than getting up at 3:30a, getting showered, loading the :car:, :drive: to Milwaukee through rush hour and MAJOR Construction  near the airport to be there by 7ish.

You will have to pry it out of my cold stiff fingers upon my demise :lmao:
