No humidity because of Irene. It is giving us winds from the north which is dry air. Dry air heats up faster so the record temperature. Our normal summer wind is from the south east, The gulf of Mexico provides our humidity which keeps us cooler.

We had beautiful weather here today. Upper 70's or low 80's with a slight breeze.

That is our best weather. Our Mustang convertible is fun to have in Houston winters

I love our Oct/Nov weather (sweatshirts & jeans) but I don't like the sub-zero temps we get in Jan and Feb.

Question: I seem to recall signing up for a Palo Brunch in the private room. Didn't we have enough people for two groups? Anyway, just wondering if that ever came about?

Hi Carol! We weren't able to get Palo Brunch. They don't book brunch in the private room because that's where they actually SERVE the brunch from.

Does anyone know if Marsha [BigDogHu75] and her family are on the Dream this week? I so hope they are not on it now.

I don't think so. Yesterday her hubby posted on Facebook that they were at Red Robin celebrating her birthday!

I sort of remember the 70's. I graduated high school in 1974.

I was young. I was dumb. I out grew the young part!

We may get a light freeze or two, but we stay mostly 40's - 60's. They close schools if snow is ever in the forecast
