I still remember the first time I took 3 girls and every time. I took the youngest two when they were collage we went two years in row the second year my oldest went with new son-in-law(finally a son) it was just like when they were again,it was priceless . Now we're aree waiting on our first grandbaby due the end of Sept. the first of Oct. Hope doesn't came early,we are planning his first trip to Disney next June. with the whole family. What would be better for his first trip than Disney WorldI totally agree with you about people not understanding. I have just realized now that it doesn't matter. I feel so happy and magical when I am at WDW that I don't think of anything else. It is my home away from home. Everybody has that "something" that eases their mind, takes stress away, makes them feel better, happy....Disney does that for me. I love watching my daughter, Lilly, at the parks...it brings tears to my eyes. I feel so lucky being able to financially afford to give her those happy moments. I am a teacher and I teach in a predominantly low income district. I look at some of my kids and feel so sad that they may never get to experience what Lilly has already experienced, and she just turned three!!Can't wait to meet you and have fun with everyone!! ONE MONTH!!!!

I have picked up a couple of pins over the last two visits. (I was one of the unfortunate and never visited Disney until July 2009) I wanted to get into building a collection and perhaps you guys (and gals) can give me some guidance and help me make sure I get the "must have" pins on the ship.

I too am hoping to receive my cruise docs today. Now that I know they are "on the move" I am chomping at the bit to get mine - no horsing around - seriously...
After my unexpected diversion from my plans last weekend, I am making the best of things and getting back on top of my chores. I have all of my adult ACE gifts ready to be packed up and just need a few minor things to finish off the younger than adult age gifts.
I have begun to set aside clothes and other items for the trip. I am packing them into milk crates so it is easier for me to pack after my surgery is done. I think I am going to ship some of my stuff to the hotel so I do not need to manage too much "stuff" during my trip down to FL.
This morning I went for my pre-surgical testing. When I was finishing up, one of the physician assistants thanked me for being so upbeat this morning. She said her office has never been so light-hearted and that everyone was laughing and smiling.That means I have done my first good deed of the day!
Just as a reminder so nobody get worried, very early monday I get on a plane to Atlanta for work and likely will not be on here until Saturday night at least. I am hoping to get an opportunity to do a drive-by but I doubt it.
