ARGHHHH!!pirate:

The rooms do look smaller.

I am not sure. I had only been on the Wonder, and I know that stateroom had a huge trunk at the foot of the bed and had absolutely no room underneath the bed for storage. I kind of thought the room on the Dream was better. Not sure of the dimensions though.

One of my favorites! My "happiest" moment from our last cruise was when Ducky Williams came over to our table at dinner and asked Dustin if he could draw him a picture!! OMG I will treasure it always!

Grand Floridian Spa to close for 18 months during DVC construction
The spa at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will close for 18 months starting September 19, according to the Orlando Sentinel. The closing is the next step in the construction of what is expected to be a Disney Vacation Club resort at the Grand Floridian, which we're referring to as the Grand Floridian Villas. The 18-month timeframe would seem to indicate that the major exterior construction of the new building will be completed in that time, though it's expected that the interior furnishing of the resort will extend beyond that time. This will disappoint those who booked Walt Disney World's most luxurious resort, with the highest per-room prices (starting at $440 per night and going up from there) for the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend, expecting to use the spa facilities after their races. Until the Grand Floridian's spa reopens, the only remaining Disney spa is the one at the Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. There is also the Mandara Spa at the Swan and Dolphin Resort, and the spa at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa on Hotel Plaza Boulevard near Downtown Disney.

…The dress code at Meridian, the upscale lounge located between Remy and Palo aboard the Disney Dream, has gotten a slight upgrade. Blue jeans and shorts, previously permitted prior to 6 p.m., are no longer be permitted inside the lounge. The new dress code is as follows:

Indoors: Men must wear dress pands and shirt (jacket optional), while women must wear a dress or pantsuit.
Outdoor patio: Cruise casual, including blue jeans and shorts, are acceptable for both men and women. Swimwear and tank tops are not permitted.

Terrie. Did you hear about the person, a girl I think, that swimming from Havana to Florida? She wants to be the first to do it without the use of a shark cage! She CRAZY!

This is for Andy and Mickey - - -

My very good friend, Alderman Joe Martin (8th District Alderman, City of Appleton, Wisconsin) has let me know that his nephew, Tyler Carpenter has been assigned to the Brooklyn Cyclones. :thumbsup2

Tyler is a catcher and before being promoted to Brooklyn (A), Carpenter spilt 29 at bats, batting .276, between Kingsport (R) and the GCL Mets (R)...Made his professional debut with the K-Mets on 6/21/11...Hit his first professional home run on 7/8/11 vs. the Princeton Rays...Was transferred to the Gulf Coast League after that game, making his debut with the GCL Mets on 7/14...A four-year starter at the University of Texas - San Antonio, he was a .309 hitter in his career with the Roadrunners...Also launched 20 home runs and stole 36 bases in his four years at UTSA...In his senior season, he batted .306 (67-for-219) with five home runs, 36 RBI, 41 runs and 11 stolen bases...Made all 50 starts as a junior and posted a .317 batting average (66-for-208), leading the Roadrunners in base hits...Swiped a career-high 15 bases as a sophomore, which was good for the team-lead...Played in 50 games as a freshman, starting 41 of them...Signed by the New York Mets as a non-drafted free agent.

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

He wears number 39.

Brooklyn Cyclones - Class A Affiliate of the New York Mets Member, New York-Pennsylvania Professional Baseball League. Brooklyn Cyclones - MCU Park - 1904 Surf Avenue - Brooklyn, NY 11224

Tyler's brother, Matt currently is with Memphis (AAA affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals) playing 3rd base and was called up earlier this season for a short time with the parent club. (In other words, he got the call to the show for a cup of coffee.:banana::banana:)

If you guys can get out and see the Cyclones, please get a couple of pictures of Tyler for me. :worship::worship::worship:

Thanks!
