So, have you heard of any decent pho places in Portland? Those pics that were posted a couple threads ago looked yummy!! Jason said he thinks he'd be available for lunch or dinner on the 20th.

Your suggestion for the coast was such a big hit that EVERYBODY who is not leaving on Saturday decided to head out there too! We just said that we might be going to go out there to have lunch with some friends that we haven't met IRL yet, and it took off like an Arizona wildfire! So now we are kinda stuck going out there. As if that is a bad thing... Where is your clam chowder place? I loves me some good chowder!

nope, but I can tell by the broth....it's ALL about the broth

The broth is what makes it special! Without good broth, it just isn't very... well, good.

Ok so Red Robin:
Onion Rings Look cool but I give them only a 6 out of 10
Burgers seem more like they are about the theme then the actual burger but over all not bad i give it a 7 out of 10.
Still Bobby's Burger Palace is the BEST!

To me the onion rings are very good with the spicier dip. The burgers are good enough to keep coming back but a not first choice of burger shops. I'll have to look at the menu but I got something non burger one time and it was great. All in all the onion rings and fries keep me coming back.

For a chain restaurant, the burgers are pretty tasty, and so is the chicken. The O rings for me over the fries every time. Yum...

LOL Well, we do have some BEAUTIFUL coastline here!

The building isn't much to look at, but the chowder is great! Their original location was outstanding. It was right at the beach. But, they had a fire and the place burnt to the ground. They found that selling the property and moving locations was much more profitable for them. They are right on Hwy 101 now.

Grumpy's the one working at camp. He's not done for the summer until the week of the 21st. This is a little bonus trip for me to meet up with a couple park peeps. Stitch is coming along rather than staying at home with Dad and the pets.

We really like Disneyland, it just has a different feeling than WDW.

I'm sitting here with Pooh helping her eat her "Last Meal", I got her pizza. She has eaten over half of a large already! At least she never lost her appetite! She has a hard time getting the pieces in her mouth cause she can't see them very well and she has a hard time getting in the best position so I have to feed some of them to her.

I just had to help her up and out the door and down a couple steps so she could go pee. I'm gonna let her enjoy the outside a little.
Her final total pizza consumption was one slice more than half a large pizza!
