Not Junior, but it's Rosa Regale and yes, I believe it's in Italy. I'm looking forward to having a glass in Sept. I almost grabbed a glass a few days ago, but mom doesn't drink and doesn't like it when I do. Since she was paying for the trip, I decided to respect that and abstain. :thumbsup2

Thank you very much.

Did you get the remaining 5% of the office finished yet Karen?

Naw, that last 5% isn't really important stuff and some of it is stuff that won't be moved until after the cruise. So, I'm not sweating it. I'll just work around those few things for now.

Anyone know if T-rex is similar in that way? I was thinking about seeing if we could squeeze it in, but I want to know what to expect.

Nice!! I want to do a savanna view sometime soon! Stitch is really into animals and I think he'd get a kick out of it.

T-Rex is my "regular" place to eat EVERY trip I have taken there since June 2009. I really like the atmosphere, it is loud but not as bad as rainforest, food is outstanding. Be careful if they want to seat you in the "ice-age" room. It can be a bit cold.

I have done the savanna view on the last three trips there. It is really cool. Even if you decide to stay elsewhere, make sure to stop at AKV/AKL and view the animals from the "public" places and speak to the animal guides. Stitch will really like it and learn something he did not know for sure.

If you say you can work around it then fine. I am just concerned that you may need that space when you are planning my grand west coast excursion to include VGC, DL and Aulani ;)

Andy, how's your knee today?

The knee has good days and bad days but consistently hurts. Thank you for asking. I am hoping to have approval for surgery by middle of next week. Then I gotta hope they can get me right in so I have time to heal before the trip. I actually have to go away for a week at the end of August for work so I have a pretty tight schedule to try to get this done within.

Thanks for the tips! We're at OKW, so popping over to T-Rex should be pretty easy if the mood strikes! :thumbsup2

We did dinner at Boma last time. We walked around a bit, but we were all so wiped out from a particularly hot and brutal day at AK, that we didn't see as much as I'd hoped.

No worries! I gotcha covered! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I hope it all works out! Knee pain is no fun. I've pretty much learned to deal with my knee issues at this point. They've been bad since I was a teenager. Both my kneecaps are dislocated. But, as long as the weather doesn't take any sudden turns, I'm usually fine. I'll have bad spells where they'll just give out on me. But, I haven't fallen down stairs in several years now :rotfl2:My doctor recently told me that he thought my knees would improve if I lost some more weight. Maybe, but since they were worse when I was 110 pounds, I'm not betting on it.

I hope they are able to get you in soon and that the recovery is quick!!

Hey! I am back again! party:

One major thing I forgot: If you want to have dinner there, make a reservation ahead of time or put your name in and return when it gets closer to time. I have found that dropping in for lunch and just about anytime prior to dinner is not a bad wait if at all.

Hi Andy!

I hope that you can get that knee done soon so that we can run down the beach to get to the Koolers! :cool1:

Terri - how's this for supporting Home Depot?

In 1999 we bought a bi-level that had been bank owned so it needed lots of TLC. We went to Home Depot to pick out EVERYTHING for the house. We basically gutted the house and re-built it. We spent over 8 hours at Home Depot and I don't even remember how much $$$ we spent. But we saw employees come in for their shift and clock out to go home and we were still there. :lmao:

Oh yeah, I was about six months pregnant at the time, so you can imagine how tired I was after being on that concrete floor for over 8 hours picking out everything for the house! Home Depot was our home away from home for a couple of years. :rotfl2: Our next door neighbor was the assistant manager there, so even if we wanted to shop somewhere else, we really couldn't. :rotfl:
