Anyone see War of the Worlds yet? It was pretty good once I got past the whole gosh how I dislike Tom Cruise immensely for taking our little Katie (Holmes-she is from Toledo-her Dad still practices law here) away from us and turning her onto Scientology-we are all convinced she is brainwashed! But Stephen Speilberg puts on a heck of a show! He ruined swimming in the ocean for me forever with JAWS!

Darcy I laughed out loud about Tom Cruise.........would love to see the movie, but can I tell you how much I can't stand him! What a complete ***!

I will wait until it comes out on DVD and someone else buys it so I can borrow it and make sure he doesn't see 1 cent from me! LOL like I make a difference in his finances.......I am beginning to sound a little like my parents here.

funny, funny, funny I have not found a woman our age who hasn't "lost that lovin' feelin'" for Tom in the last few weeks. I agree he has just gotten himself a young one so he has control, and boy she's giving it to him.

It really is too funny to read your feelings on Tom Cruise - my sentiments EXACTLY!! I used to really like him in my younger days but his behavior (starting with the way he left Nicole Kidman) has turned me off COMPLETELY. I find him quite distasteful these days and while I really want to see "War of the Worlds" I am not sure I can get over him being in it. Ugh..... Poor Katie Holmes - no good way out of this as far as I can see

Enough of that though........

So, Darcy - congrats on #400. I decided I had celebrated enough on this page - ha ha - and that someone else should have the chance

Now for cruise talk - I spoke with DH about the photo gallery and he says "no problem". He can setup a folder/section of our personal homepage where we can post pictures along with names etc. So, if you want to email me a picture/pictures please do and I'll get him started on it!

Well, it took us about 15 days to get the last 100 posts - let's see if we can do it any quicker the next time. Anyone up for the challenge?????

Anyone up for going to Friday night DIS Cruise chat sometime? I used to go but haven't gone in a long time. If anyone else can be there too I'll see if I can too.

TOM CRUISE= He gets on my last nerve with all that scientolgy hoola boola! If he wants to believe thats one thing good for him, but him to try tp take other people (IE Brook Shields) because they dont handle things his way??!!? Give me a friggin break! What a loon! As soon as I saw the movie poster for WOTW with him in it, I knew I would have no desire to see it. BLECH I feel the same way about Russell CROWE I will not see a movie with him in it..I think he is a real tail hole ( as my boss says) LOL

okay can I just point out the irony of: Tom CRUISE. Why oh why does his last name have to be CRUISE?!?!
As far as the challenge goes-how about a game of tag? tagging w/b inserting someones name (or DISboard name along with somewhere in mid sentence) get it? if you see your name along with the symbol, you've been tagged! think it will work? Or is it Rhonda too complicated? I've already tagged someone-let's see if she sees it! (boy I have too much time on my hands!)

I found yet another cruise item to share today on ebay - haven't bought it yet but hoping I win when it ends! Buying for the cruise is always fun but buying to share is even better!!

Hey Karen - we bought our plane tickets to CA yesterday. We are flying into Orange County on the 20th and then heading to San Diego. We return to Anaheim on the 25th and will be there through the 30th. I sure hope we can meet up with you and your family while we are there - that would be so fun!!

Hey everyone-thought I'd write now considering tomorrow I am being invaded by thirteen 10 year olds for my twins slumber B-day party (yeah-I know their b-day was in May-but they wanted a pool party and it was too cold in May!) anyone have any fun ideas-I have the basic: swimming, volleyball, horseshoes, scavenger hunt, make-overs for the girls and pillow cases decorating. anyone have experinces with sleep-over games? Hello everyone!
How is everyone's weekend going? I myself am plan tuckered out! had my DT slumber party last nite....OMG! Only ended up with 11. one boy was sick and couldn't come and the same for one girl. then one of my DS friends who has "issues" (as his mom puts it) with sleeping over made it until 11:30 before he broke down and had her come and get him. I could tell arounD nightfall that he was caving IN-so I tried to keep him busy but with no luck. He was having a ball laughing and joking, even stayed another 45 minutes after his mom came, to finish the limbo game. She is frustrated becasue at 10 years old he has yet to sleep over at anyones house even his own fathers! I feel bad for her and him but told her that only he can decide and it may happen overnite or it may not happen at all-until then I guess she'll have to host all the sleepovers! I guess our game of tag has kinda fizzled-oh well, we tried

Hi friends!!

I have been working 24/7 since last Wednesday. I have not been following much but will catch up ... Friday (still putting in extra long days until then).

akasleeping: are you coming this month?!? For some reason I thought you were coming out in August. Either way, we are available to meet up with you for a day (at least one) at DL. We are going to be in the park with other vising relatives Sunday-Tuesday, July 24th-26th. Our passes work every day except for Saturdays in the summer. We can meet any other days. Keep me posted.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We didn't do a whole lot but had a nice break nonetheless. I sure wish the weekends didn't go by so fast....

Darcy - well, we tried the game - maybe we'll try again at a later point and it will take off better.

Amanda - I know you weren't asking me to help clean your house - mine isn't even decently clean so I know you'd prefer some much better organized Martha Stewart type over me!!

Karen - no we are not coming to CA this month - we are coming in October. Bought our tickets a few days ago - we are arriving on 10/20 (Thursday) and heading to San Diego. Then we'll be back to Anaheim on the 25th (Tuesday) and be there until we head home the morning of the 30th (Sunday). I really hope we can get together during our time in Anaheim so let's try to plan something as the trip gets closer.

DD is at gymnastics day camp this week so I am trying to get a few things done while she is occupied. So I gotta get out of the house and run a few errands before it is time to pick her up.

Hey Rhonda-this is turning out to be the Rhonda and Darcy thread! I actually have some time OFF! Yeah for me! I schedule my own hours so it is my own darn fault that I work as much as I do. But I thought I am not going to miss any more nights with my kids during the week, so I scheduled myself for 3rd shifts for the next couple of weekends. Next week is off with my 12 girl scouts for an overnite at the new Kalahari resort waterpark (Missyoh8 have you guys been there yet?), then the next week is our camping trip in Hocking Hills. Then two weeks after that is off to our first Universal trip. My parents as you may recall are moving to Florida-they are due to move in two weeks. They built a home in Palm Coast which is 1 1/2 hours north east of Orlando.They are just a nervous to say the least with all the Hurricanes brewing! But my Dad always wanted to live by the Ocean...It will give us a nice place to visit. They are meeting up with us at Universal. Oh well-I suppose I'll go lounge in the pool.. Have a great day all!

Darcy - you are one motivated woman!! It sounds like your time is nicely planned and I am sure you will enjoy it all although it may require sacrificing some sleep I hope your parents don't have any problem with their new home. It is always stressful enough making a major move without the imminent threat of a hurricane too! Have you got all of your plans in order for your Universal trip?

I received your email with your picture. I will get dh to work on our photo gallery asap and let you all know how you can view it.
