Well, I think we've changed our minds about the Halloween cruise. Looks like we're leaning more towards Thanksgiving. Any of you gone during Thanksgiving? I don't think my DH has booked anything yet, but he may have. The last time I talked to him today he was leaning toward Thanksgiving so that may be what we end up doing. It'll give a little more of a break between the 2 cruises anyway. Not that that was a problem in the first place. I guess atleast this way, the kids will be on break from school and won't have to miss any. Hopefully I'll know something soon. I hate not knowing. I told DH either was fine with me. I am again so excited!!! Except this time I have a lot more time to wait than I did this last one. This last one we booked the first of June so we didn't have too long to wait. The next one I get to go on will be almost 11 months away. How do you all do it? It would kill me to have to wait 2 yrs.

Ya'll need to keep writing so we can stay in touch. Hope to have some posts to read the next time I check in.

I can personally vouch for the Saturday after Thanksgiving! It was an awesome week and the price was right! The readon I picked that week was because it was the cheapest week I could find! LOL Weather was perfect! We did that week in 2004 and in talking with Jeff and Kathy this cruise I found out they were on board also! WEIRD huh! LOL

Also, bonus I believe that TADSmommy Karen was also taking that week! I am jealous! I wish I could!

Thanks for an awesome cruise everyone! What a great time! My shipboard charges were more than the cost of the cruise! I'm already saving up for 2008!

I always feel good about my on board account and think ah okay still going good and I always forget that I have to charge the tips! LOL
I loved our asst server so I gave her almost as much as the head server. Needless to say, I am sure our servers were pleased with their tips! LOL So our shipboard acct was not pretty either!
I am curios how everyones servers were?
Our server was okay....nothing fabulous but okay. We had Andrew from the Phillipines and Trish from Australia who was being shadowed by Samantha from Autrailia. But I really like Trish she talked to us a heck of a lot more than Andrew did. In his defense though, he had a large group and a man that wasnt even at one of his tables following him around. Also, our room host was Mario. He was nice enough, but he was nicer to Amanda01 than to me! I mearned he lined up her makeup crap on the desk and prettied up and he didnt do that for us! Also we got a letter the first night telling us not to leave things plugges in (never a problem b4 to charge the cmarea battery while not in your room? But I will give them this since the Princess fire) and one about throwing stuff off the balcony???? We dont do that. SO I think he thought I might have been a trouble maker! LOL
Thea I know I heard you raving about how great you stateroom host and servers were! I forget their names though! So I can only imagine the tip bill on your account for AWESOME service when I know what mine was for okay service! LOL
In 2008 I want to try the Freedom of the Seas. I know Jeff and Kathy were up for that, but I just dont know if I could break away from DCL...only time will tell I guess. Maybe both....

Well, looks like it's gonna be the Halloween one for us next year. DH checked on the Thanksgiving cruise and it costs enough more for us to decide to just stick with the first decision. I'm sure we'll still have a great time though.

Hello everyone! Is everyone still crying? Merkie and I are. I can't stop telling everyone what a great trip it was.

I can promise you that the entire Gacruiser family is super wonderful. They went out of their way to get chocolate covered strawberries for Merkie. We really appreciated it. Then they invited us into their room to look around. They were in a suit, by the way. Our entire stateroom would have fit into their living room and dining area. More significantly, two of our bathrooms would have fit into one of theirs. Thanks for allowing us to interrupt your vacation. I am so jealous that you get to do the Med. cruise. I hope you have a great time. We won't get to sail again 2008. Maybe you need to make it three years in a row.

Amanda, we will probably be doing Sept. also because my brother has already backed out. He says he just can't imagine being out on the water with no way back to land. Anyway, it's back to me and DD. She will be alomost 11 by then. I am hoping that she, being a little older, will want to do more with the clubs and less with me to give me more time to socialize.

Um, let's just say he got over $100.00! His name was Donovan I forget where he was from, but he was wonderful to Mekayla! He had her bed (the couch) made up all the time and he put her stuffed animals in all kinds of different positions all the time. He had a fresh towel critter each night, too! Poor guy had to trip over eight bags in a CAT 11 until he got smart and took a few out of our room and stowed them somewhere until the end of the cruise! He said we had too much stuff! DUH!

Our servers were Luis from India and Hilash from India. Hilash was o.k., a little slow on the ice tea refills untill Thursday night when I was filling out my survey card at dinner (service was the best that night) and Luis was awesome! Poor guy! We had Jeff and Kathy and DJ at our table with us, and all of us being veteran cruisers we knew we could order off menu, and we did (a lot) we also ordered two and three different dinner items each night so we really kept them on their feet! FDPA was Samantha the same Samantha from Merchandising? Did she have big cat eye eyeliner, and dark hair? There was a Samantha in Treasure Ketch (from Australia) with thick cat shaped eyeliner and dark hair who was so nice to Mekayla! She left a card with two pins on it and a "Thanks for being such great cruisers" note on our fish the last night. Sean from Trinidad in Merchandising was really nice to us also (notice all the CM's in merchandising were nice...guess where we spent most of our time?) How do you send notes to CM's onboard? Anyone know? I never got to thank Samantha for the pins! So, when do 2008 dates come out?

Gail I am still sad...hard to believe that just seven days ago I had the best day ever in Costa Maya!

I too had the chance to talk with Bill and Tonya on Cozumel day, and realized that Tonya was a hip Chick I wish I could have checked out the suite though! I bet it was nice!!!!!! I have never been able to allow myself to pay for a suite because all I can think of is that I could cruise more, if I just get an 11! LOL I have a sickness I tell ya! When I cruised in January, I got to see a Cat 3. It were purdy! If you are readingm thanks Karin (aka Tahoe!)
As it stands I am so sad that I do not have a cruise planned at all...nothing to look forward to. I know 2008 but not until we actually have a booking and a date will I feel a little better. But in reading the boards, it looks as though the rates and itineraries wont be released until Dec..I mean come on who can afford to pay a down payment in December?!?!?!?!?!

I am a vet cruisers too and I didnt realize you could order off the menu? What do you mean by that? And there were a few nights I order a dessert or 2......maybe I gotta say we really lucked out with the table mates. As most of you know, our dning got really messed up. We were supposed to be linked up with Amanda01 and Karen (TADSmommy).....I got a message that our stateroom had been changed (little did I know that a bunch of us had been changed) ....well when we checked in...we noticed our dining did not match! Argh...we went straight to dining changes and got that corrected but we did not want to mess with Karens rotation because a, I forgot her last name, b she was not there and c....I had no way to let her know the rotation on her card would have been wrong! So Karen, I know I said so on board, but I am so sorry we did not get to dine together! From what time I spent with you I can tell yo are a HOOT! I think we missed out! But we ended up with a nice family from Orlando.

LOL She saw that I was buying all the pins and I told her that they were for my friend Dana. She took our stateroom ## and names and Danas name and said maybe she could do something special for us...but we never heard from her again?? Amanda, thanks for the info on the 2008 release dates. I was just getting ready to start reading the boards to see if anyone knew when they would be released. Isn't this later than normal? Then again, if I recall correctly, the last part of 2007 was not announced until this past Spring. Now, I can't wait months to find out when I will cruise again.

My accountant told me today that I should be receiving something from Disney showing that I am now a Castaway CLub Member. What will I get and when will it come?

Cindy and I were in the gift shop (DUH) and on the way out we were handed two blue lanyards with a pin on each (they were characters flying airplanes or something) anyway, they said "two lanyards per cabin" so Cindy and I decided to each take one and not mention it to Mekayla! LOL No One is allowed to tell her we got a free pin and she missed out! Speaking of free, did I tell you guys I won the diamond pendant at the shopping seminar? I am going to start my trip report tonight, ya'll have to help me fill in the blank spots.

Who bid on my artwork? I know I will be embarrassed when I remember, but I can't recall which one of you sat in on the art auction and bid on my piece for me? You know who you are, so help me out... I am (pretty) sure it was one of us in the Double Scoop Group at least I hope it was one of us, come to think of it, I don't remember seeing a green wrist band... I just threw my number at you and said "bid up to but no more than $500.00" who were you? I wanna' give proper credit in my trip report.

Hey everyone Im feeling much better.. Thank you for all the well wishes but after being in the hospital Im much better off at home.... Ive been sleeping alot and on alot of Liquids(Not Konk coolers or BBCs) LOL... But just OJ PLain..with antibiotics and have a dr's apt in the AM to see how im doing....Maybe I was just haveing cruise withdrawl....lol....and thats what put me in the Hospital...LOL.... But feeling better gang so im happy....
