Well Julie, I am so ready to go back NOW!!! I think we should book 3 cabins total. We'd have 3 adults and 6 kids. That would work, right? I'd rather not have any snorers around though. Billy and I are going on the med repo I told you about and we were talking about taking the kids back again in '08. I just don't think I can wait that long to take them back though. Just something for you to think about. I WANNA GO BACK, I WANNA GO BACK, I WANNA GO BACK!!!!

We did have a fabulous time. It was even better than I expected. I didn't think that was posible. I can totally understand the addiction so many of you have now. I've definitely got the bug.

Hi all,

I am so sad that this trip is over. We had such a great time. Met many of you but not all. Amanda you are welcome any time. It is so hot here I think you still have many weeks to plan a trip to the beach. We just got home. I am on my second load of laundry. We spent yesterday in Tallahasse with the boys. The football game was so hot. I was so depressed taht jst 24 hours earlier I was floating in Serinity Bay. It was hotter in Tallahassee. It was nice to see this kids. Had lunch with them today and then on to home.

Happy laundry every one, the floor still seems like it is moving. I surane don't want to go to work tomorrow.

Can you guys who took pictures at brunch please send them to me?

Hello everyone! We made it home several hours ago, but I have been busy unpacking, doing laundry and supervising the finishing touches to homework assignments. I was so glad that I got to meet so many of you. I didn't get to talk to you guys as much as I had wanted. I brought all my quaters back with me, and we never did meet for those drinks at the deck 4 comfy chairs. Oh well, sounds like a good excuse for another trip.

I'm going to try my best to do a trip report this coming weekend. We really did have a great time. We probably spent our week in a totally different way than any of you, but we had a wonderful time and wouldn't change a thing, but maybe tried to see some of you more. Just in case I don't get to that trip report for a while, let me tell you guys about dining at Topsiders. I asked the service team about how the menu is determined. They told me that they are closed during dinner on the first and last nights because Disney wants everyone to meet their service team in the rotational restaurants and then again on the last night so that everyone can pay the tips. Topsiders menu for Sunday is the same as Lumiere's reg menu. Monday is Animator's menu. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is the same as the rotational restaurants. We ate diner there every night but one. I am going to look the menus up on the Dis to see they were right, but I am sure they are.

Well, I guess I'd better get some work done here at the house (which isn't much thanks to the excellent job of my cleaning lady) because once I go back to the office tomorrow, I will have late hours every night this week trying to get caught up. My secretary told me on Wednesday afternoon that my mail tray was full and she had started putting my mail to be reviewed in stacks based on how important she felt they were so that I can review the things that need immediate attention first. Sounds like I have a fun week ahead of me.

I find my self thinking about what I would have been doing if I was on the ship. Like right now I would be at Lumiere's for dinner. Ah well, the memories will have to do for now. I do find it nice to be reading your posts after getting to know "yall" (thank you for the slang princess!)

uh oh sounds like you enjoyed yourself afterall? I was a bit worried about you it didnt seem like you liked cruising...has that opinion changed??? ANd yall are welcome for the slang but the real question is, are you actually saying yall up there in Canada eh?

We are back at home now, DW says she will unpack tommorrow while i'm at work
It was so great to meet everyone, it was such a MAGICAL vacation. Thanks so much for everyones tips before we left, you had us feeling like old timers We had so much fun and loved the sea days that me and the DW booked the 14 night "bringing the magic home" cruise for next August, we will be leaving the kids at home
But now the DW does not want to wait till '08 to take the kids back on another cruise so first thing in the morning i'll have to start buying some lottery tickets I'll try to post some of our trip report this week.

when you saw me on the tender you should have told me to stay on the ship. I went down looking for a bracelet to match my ring. I found one that I fell in love with. It was $1200 I laughed when he told me the price he was willing to go down to $700 something I laughed again and left. DH and I walked a bit and then I decided I was going back to ship. He still wanted to find a watch for himslef so we parted ways. Guy sees me headed back calls me back in and asks how much. I told him $200 he said he couldnt do....He showed me $290 on the calculator I told him if he would give me a matching pendant he had a deal...he said okay but to give him $20 cash for tip...done deal..I paid...I asked him for a lighter he led me to front of store to his friend...I leaned over to get my smokes....lit up and left...got to tender saw Rhonda and was so excited to show her my bracelet....it was GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Hello everyone...

Glad to see that everyone has made it home ok. We had such a great time as well.

Amanda we miss you as well. I hope you are feeling better. I just got home from the hospital. Jeff was not feeling well this afternoon and waiting until 7:30pm to take him to the hospital. Our reg dr. thinks it phenumon but one of the drs. in the ER department didn't want to rule our Congestive Heart Failure. The 3rd dr. came in an said he was almost certain it was phenumon because he had the high fever and his white blood count was way high. They finally admitted him at 1am and when he got to his floor it was the last room, (sharing with another sicky who was snoring very very bad) and they had no pillows left and asked jeff if he could bare it for one night. Well need less to say he checked himself out. We have to follow up with his reg doctor tomorrow so it looks like I wont be at work tomorrow. I'm going to hit the hay now have to be up early tomorrow to have him looked at. I'll keep in touch and hope everyone is feeling fine. They think he picked it up from someone on the Cruise. But wouldn't change the week for nothing. Had lots of fun.

Well we got home yesterday and it was so hard to watch that last show of wishes on Sat. night knowing it might be at least 2 years before I get to see it again. I cried at the end of it. Eric and I had such a great trip and meeting all of you was just the cherry on top! Drinking coffee at Starbucks just isn't the same as the Cove! We are planning a Sept 08 cruise so anyone who wants to come with is welcome! Amanda and Steve are coming, Steve already said yes and he can't take that back!

Oh my DSIL told me a funny story, my DMIL was at church yesterday and they were asking if anyone needed prayers. She said that we were on our way back from a Disney cruise and they she wanted prayers for our safe trip home and that she hoped we brought home a "little souviner!" So yesterday while we were on the plane a whole church full of people were praying for a "souviner" for my DMIL. Of course she swears all she wanted was a t-shirt!

Hello again! I am finally home. I am not as far behind at the office as I thought. I did have stacks of mail, but not much of it needed responded to. Otherwise, last week was slow week at the office, which I guess is good and bad. Good because it leaves me not that far behind. Not good, because I need business to make more money to take more cruises.

Jeff, I hope you feel better soon. So far, so good for us. We are both feeling fine. I hope it's not something from the ship.

Does anyone know when the 2008 prices and dates will be released? We are definitely going back. Jeff had mentioned that he wants to do Freedom of the Seas in 2008, but we will be doing Disney. My parents, DB and his family have decided to join us. I would love to go back Sept 2008 with Amanda, but my DB will not let his children miss school for vacations. He thinks that I am a horrible parent for letting Merkie miss. We will have to go the last two weeks of May, the first week of August or during Christmas break. Any recommendations from anyone?

The only way I could get Merkie to quit crying (literally) over having to leave the ship was to remind her that we have to start planning the Christmas trip to WDW. Will any of you be there? Does anyone know if threads like this one gets started for WDW trips?

What do you mean it was gone? Are you kidding me? Gone, for good? Did you find it? I cannot believe it. That totally sucks big time. I would have been crying. What is your lost money total up to this year so far? I sure hope this bad streak goes away soon for you. First the missing cash a few months ago, now this. Dang!!! You need to turn your pockets inside out when you do your laundry. I think Murphey is stuck in there somewhere just waiting for the opportunity to bring you bad luck. (You know, Murphey's law. That Murphey.)

We are talking about taking a 7 day eastern next October. We are still planning on the med. repo too, without the kids. I just can't wait 2 years to take the kids back though. Even if my son was WAY less than perfect. The girls were great. I thought it would be a good idea for DH and I to go alone next year and then take the kids the year after that. That just seems like an aweful long time to wait for them. I'm not sure of the exact dates but I do know it overlaps Halloween. How fun will that be?!!! I think we're gonna do it. Any one up for it?

We'll be eating beans and cornbread for the next year though. One 14 day cruise and another 7 day just a few weeks later. Woah. I could do back to back though. I'm ready to go back now and it's only been a few day. I think a 7 week break in between is more than reasonable.

Yes gone...I believe that it didnt even make it out of the store I feel like i was set up...sigh...I must have a big doofus stamp on my forehead....I called the CC compnay yesterday because I remember that I had lost/stolen item protection when I got this particular card last year....yep I did..nope dont have it anymore....guess the comp decided not to offer it anymore..apparantly they can do that :-( I have no recourse...She said I cant even dispute the charge because they did give me the merchandise..

PS Tonya and Bill, we have sailed over Halloween before...word of advice join the meet thread for your sail date and see if they have a trick or treat planned. Usually the same DISers sail over that week. DCL TOTing was just plain sorry. It was like 6 stations total spread out over 6 decks....where they gave about 3 pieces of tiny chocolate candy balls...hot stuffy and crowded! If we hadnt of had our own TOT planned it would have been very disappointing.

A feloow DISer "GINGER" set up one for our crew and we all had to bring treats for x amount of kids, and it rocked! Most people went way out and it was so nuch fun!

Good morning all! Well I am still missing the ship and the parks desperatly! This part sucks! Oh and poor Eric was unpaking the camera bag yesterday morning and dropped the camera and broke it. So we can pay $150 just for them to look at it, or buy a new camera. We decieded to go with the new camera. We are going to buy one at christmas, I think we have enough pictures to sort through for now!

Kathy how is Jeff? Do the Dr's know what the problem is? And how are you and DJ doing?

Hi all

I haven't really had much of a chance to say much about who I met and didn't meet while on the cruise. I'm so sorry that it was basically a grab and run when we all met to get our bracelets. I wanted to stay and chat but my dad wanted all of us to go to the other side of the ship while we were pulling out of port because he thought it was a better view. So, I thought I'd just go over for a bit and then come back. I went over there and did some recording of our first time sailing out and next thing I knew they were telling me we needed to hurry up and get ready for dinner. We only had maybe 45 minutes and I had myself and 3 kids to get ready so we headed on to our room. I felt like I just sort of skipped out on you all. However, I thought for sure I'd see everyone later. WRONG!! I only really got to talk a little to Amanda and Thea. What a bummer because you ALL seem so nice.

Sargater, I'm sorry if I came across as rude when we met at the meet. You know, when I said, "I have a name". I was just being silly but I feel you may have taken me wrong like maybe I was being rude or something. Sorry. Then I just took off and I know that must have really seemed rude. Again, Sorry!!! I really am a nice person. Sometimes I act as if people know me when they really don't, therefore they wouldn't know how to take me. I'm not rude, I just am a bit too sarcastic--too often.

I do hope I have the opportunity to cruise again with some of you guys and get to know you much better.

Amanda, I looked up how far Columbus is from McDonough. I was thinking maybe we could get together for a cookout or something one weekend. It's probably about 2 hrs which I suppose isn't too bad. What do you think? I'll pm you my numbers.

Who else lives here in GA? We should get together.

Well, I think we've changed our minds about the Halloween cruise. Looks like we're leaning more towards Thanksgiving. Any of you gone during Thanksgiving? I don't think my DH has booked anything yet, but he may have. The last time I talked to him today he was leaning toward Thanksgiving so that may be what we end up doing. It'll give a little more of a break between the 2 cruises anyway. Not that that was a problem in the first place. I guess atleast this way, the kids will be on break from school and won't have to miss any. Hopefully I'll know something soon. I hate not knowing. I told DH either was fine with me. I am again so excited!!! Except this time I have a lot more time to wait than I did this last one. This last one we booked the first of June so we didn't have too long to wait. The next one I get to go on will be almost 11 months away. How do you all do it? It would kill me to have to wait 2 yrs.

Ya'll need to keep writing so we can stay in touch. Hope to have some posts to read the next time I check in.

Amanda01 - you're just about the cutest thing since sliced bread...and snappy, too! I think we should start an Amanda Squared Thread for the 2008 sailing! I am so there! We'll be sailing in 2008 and depending on where the ship's going and what the dates are, we'll probably be with you two.

Kathy - I am sorry to hear about Jeff, hopefully he'll get better soon. Mekayla and I just took our last airbornes. We feel fine, didn't get sick or anything...but I have vertigo really bad. The ship's still moving. I was in the Navy and never delt with land legs this bad before.

Asha - I really am bummed we didn't get to spend more time together! Seems like I was going in the opposite direction from you the whole cruise. Did you like it? Rehka and Mekayla had so much fun together! Mekayla wants to know if you guys are up for a 2008 cruise?

Well, looks like it's gonna be the Halloween one for us next year. DH checked on the Thanksgiving cruise and it costs enough more for us to decide to just stick with the first decision. I'm sure we'll still have a great time though.

Ok confession time here! I was a bit worried when I heard you say that...I just thought "O-kay..." Maybe she thinks we are all geeks! LOL Because I dont remember you posting before, only Bill( please pardon me if you had)

But then when you all singled me out on the tender and we started talking, I figured that you were a-ok! LOL And probably didnt mean it the way it sounded!

All in all it worked out and we had a great group this time! This was so much more fun for me, then our May cruise was. But in May, like a lot of you this time, because I had 3 yr old Nate with us, we were realyl limited in the adult activities.
Im am telling everyone, take a cruise without the kids once! IT was a hoot! Pub night was the funniest and JEFF I need a copy of that video, I have a certain DH that belongs to someone else on this thread that I need to blackmail! hehehe
