2 each!!....how many suitcases is everyone bringing? Ive got all our clothes and shoes in two and the third will just be for all the toiletries and misc....am I forgetting to pack something??

7 evening outfits + 1 pirate each
5 daytime outfits each
3 bathing suits and cover ups each
18 pairs of shoes (yes 8 of which are mine )
3 evening purses (me)
1 day purse (me)
7 hats


somebody please tell me where im going wrong...shouldnt i have more suitcases???

went to Wallymart tonight and got my ginger/gravol and bonamine, it has 25 mg of mecilzine ...does that sound like the right stuff??

under water cameras were $9 and disposables were 2/$9 should I just buy them here?

got my roll of bubble wrap...now to just restrain myself from popping all those tempting little bubbles

my project this weekend...to learn to use my parents digital camera and some new dvd camcorder except it doesnt use a dvd...he says it saves the video on its own hard drive???? (the camcorder is the size of my 35 mm!!!) I hope you guys can help me use this thing cause I have no clue

I came home from the festival and found that you guys have been busy. Amanda is probably on the plane, but if you check e-mail along the way, I hope you have a safe trip. I hope everyone signs on the say "Goodbye" as they leave out. I will not be on as much over the next few days because I will be so busy getting everything done so that I can leave, but I'll check in at least once per day.

Anyway I need everyones info. What I would like if you are sending it to me is to know

dinner seating
and I will just throw this out to you, but on our last cruise in dec. I got everyones addresses so we could send each other pictures on a disk that we had taken on the cruise. So if you would like to do that send me your address if not that is more then fine also everyone can do that between themselves on the cruise.

I need Amanda and Erics info does anyone have that or know which page I can find it on?????

Hi all!!

One week away, and I can hardly stand the wait!! I am ready for a week of “Magic”.

I have been noticeably absent from the boards as our family’s schedule has been even more busy than I could have imagined. Scouts, Jr. Biology Classes and Sports took up most of our past many weeks, and just getting our school year started off strong took all my extra time.

Just when we had finalized arrangements for the kids (our 3 tweens/teens) to fly unattended minor to Colorado as they will be staying with Grandma/Grandpa, all #@$% broke loose with the air travel industry. I became very uncomfortable with the thought of them flying alone and we had to immediately shift gears to make arrangements for extra vacation days from work and then service on our minivan so we could drive the kids out from California to Colorado, and then we will fly out from Denver to Orlando. After many weeks of finalizing arrangements, we are back on track once again.

We have a few busy days ahead:

Saturday – all day family baby shower event
Sunday – son working the boy scout booth at church carnival
Monday – boy scouts and hockey game
Tuesday – girl scouts and final day of schoolwork
Wednesday – final packing then start the drive to Colorado
Thursday – complete drive to Colorado
Friday – fly to Orlando (staying at Radisson) … anyone want to join us for dinner?

Saturday – finally the wait is over!! Rest, relaxation and romance (right after we are welcomed aboard with happy waving hands and best wishes for a “magical” time) … starting with a Bahama Mama (I won’t even care that it is before lunch)

We are really excited to put faces to names and meet some new DIS friends.

A full week of new friends, fun, sun (I hope), bingo, Bahama Mamas, Mickey and friends … and two visits to Castaway Cay (crossing fingers for no hurricanes) … How lucky are we all?!?

Look for the happy couple celebrating 15 years (and I think DH has agreed to wear matching shirts to the pier so I will have a cute “welcome aboard” photo). What a guy!!

Wishing all you lucky ones who are starting their trip early a very happy, fun and safe trip!!

That sounds like a good price for the camera. I would buy them there less to do in Orlando.

Karen we will be at the Residence Inn. Hopefully doing dinner at grills. Gail is also at the Radison. She will be out at the pool with her daughter. I don't know what time we will be there so it's hard to set a time.

This is crazy it's a week away and I can't sleep. It's going to be a long few days until we get in the car and get out of here.

Guys, I didn't get in bed until after 1:00 a.m. and I'm already up and showered. Just can't sleep. Part of it is excited and part is that I keep going over everything in my head, trying to make sure everything has been taken care of before I leave on vacation. I guess it's just where this is our first cruise, but I have never been so excited over a vacation. DD and I take at least two nice vacations a year. I am always excited, but this is crazy. I feel like a little kid who just can't wait for something to happen.

One week from today, DD and I will walk onto the Disney Magic for the very first time ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won't sleep all week. We are leaving on Friday so we can go to the Halloween party at the MK. So it is going to be along day. I am so afraid that I am going to crash on Saturday. This happens to me on every WDW trip. I get so excited I can't sleep all week and run on adrenalin the first 24 hrs. of the trip and then it all hits me at once as soon as I am able to relax

I had to bring at least 10 daytime outfits for all of us becuase we will be at Disney on Friday, and the sat and sun following the cruise. I have a child that can not stand to get dirty and if she does, she wants to change....Hubby does not want to do any laundry.

okay maybe thats where im going wrong...we have 3 days in wdw before as well, but I was assuming that the we would be in bathing suits and coverups for at least the two cc days and 2 mexico days...time to revise "The List"!

I always pack too many day time clothes because I do live in my swim suit on all days. Other than dressing for brunch I just throw on a t shirt and shorts over it if I go do Bingo or the art of entertainment. All our excursions involve water so even on port days we will be in ours.

Don't stress out over it.

You guys are quiet today. Iam at work and I check in every so often. It's very quiet and boring being here alone. i am getting a lot done. My desk my actually be cleaned off when I leave. That would be a first.

You are not going to believe this. I bought a size 12 jeans last night. I have never ever worn a 12. I hope I don't gain all this back in a week.
