What is the tag game?

Will we be having a meet?

That tag game is pretty cool. We start off with a magnet, lime green of course. It starts off with the creator, Amanda, placing it on a stateroom door of one of us. Then we sign it with our screen name and stateroom # and then we have to find another dis'er and tag them and so on. With this big of a crew it might take a while. It's a great way to get to know eachother.

As for the meet we are having one, although I can't remember when and where. Can someone refresh my memory.

Just checking in....I have not posted muuch at all as being the mom to a 19 month old is keeping me really busy (come on Flounders ), but we have not received any documents down here in good ol Mississippi either!!!

Thanks to alll who set up the brunch, I am reallly looking forward to it.

As for professions, my husband and I are both engineers (Mechanical and Industrial and Systems) yeah, I know our poor DD is doomed to be ANAL!!

I have read that they recommend your shipped boxes arrive at least 3 days ahead of time....we are also planning to do this with some beach toys / toys,etc


Also, if anyone has a packing list for a toddler, feel free to PM me - I am going crazy trying to make sure we have diapers, meds for any situation, some toys, etc etc etc

Seeing people are sharing who they are and their travel party, this is us again...

Myself - Paula, aged 32 (and a half). I'm an IT Consultant aka geek. I love my job mostly because its interesting but its also gives me the opportunity to travel.

My partner Robert, also aged 32ish. He is a librarian - yup we got the role reversal thing going on with the jobs

Robert's partner-in-crime also travelling with us is my mother Marian aged 60-something. The two of them are very poorly behaved and would make the most disobedient child appear to be an angel. They will often be seen chasing each other around the ship and through the theme parks trying to spit drinking fountain water at each other, having burping competitions or worse.

I will be doing my best to avoid association with either of them

It's just the three of us - no kids.

We have a late dining session and are in cabin 6313. I'm attending the Palo brunch and would love to meet any other Dis'ers - I've been a member for years but rarely post. I'm a certified Disney nut and have been all my life.

It's our second cruise on the Disney Magic - we did Eastern Carribean in 2003. We are also DVC members.

This time next week we can say "we are going tomorrow" as we have a week at YCV and then a week at OKW before going on the cruise. Basically its our annual 3 week holiday.

P.S. We too were onboard the Magic's 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise 2004 that Hurricanes Ivan & Jeanne messed up. We booked this cruise while still onboard because we knew we'd already booked Sept 2005 for DL & an Alaskan cruise.

Wow this really is getting closer, doc's are arriving and Palo brunch is a go. Thanks Amanda. Yahooooo Ours aren't here yet but it's nice to know they should be on the way.

Spectro, Our ecotour is Sunday at 10:45, we booked at 90 days, my in laws couldn't book util 75 days and they got 11:45. So we are going to try to rearrange those once we get on the ship so we can go together. I have never been on a jet ski, so should be interesting. I just hope they are easy to get on.

We are making our last Sam's shopping trip tonight for college kid # 2. # 1 seems to be having fun, I hope he remembers that starting Monday he is really there to learn, not meet girls.

I have never been on a jet ski myself and want to get on one before I turn 40 so this is the year! I am going in the afternoon and then booking back to the ship to try and catch the Patriots game at 4:00.

Good Morning all.

You guys have been very busy. I am so busy at home this week you won't see much of me. Until Saturday when the last kid goes to college. Then you will be stuck with this bored, sad mother driving all of you crazy.

We are me Joanne(48) & Roger(50). Traveling with out children this time. Both are in college. This is our 3rd cruise on the magic, 2002, 2004 and now. We did RCCL in 2005.
I am an accountant for a rental management co and Roger is a computer qeek for the Airforce.

We are traveling with Rogers sister & her husband. Denise & Gerald. they are from Quebec.It is their first cruise.

We are in room 6100 and have late seating.

Spectro my dh will be right along with you if he knows thet patriots are on. he is from MA.

Amanda happy anniversary # 2. Glad it was a good one. i can't remember back that far.

Good Morning,
I am at work and trying to work-but well this is my first priority today.
We are Cindy and Jeff married 22 years so props to you Eric and Amamda it won't be long before you catch up to us.
We will be traveling with the three Princesses from Connecticut. 18, 16 and soon to be twelve on the ship.
I am an Executive Assistant for Duin & Bradstreet and my husband spins his managerial charms in the retail giant Wal Mart.
Oldest princess will be moving to college the week before we leave on the cruise-so her roommate will love her when she ups and leaves for 10 days.
16 year old is just thinking about getting her driver's permit-she already has so many chauffers why drive yourself?
11-12 year old is into Sports big time and not boys yet much to her Father's happiness
Off to do some business...hope to see our DOCS today.

Oh WoW the suspense is killing me !!!!! (and my Dh of course)
We can't wait - we were just talking about it last night - we have to finish up this week of work - then survive through a small town festival in Va where I grew up (all Labor Day Weekend) & then my family reunion (also Labor Day Weekend) and then help get my parents ready for their Alaskan Cruise. It's their 30th Wedding Ann. (9/10) so they are going on Princess Cruise Line for 7 days to Alaska (leaving from Seattle) and then get ready to start our packing -- I plan to start on 9/10 or 9/11 ----- I'm going to be packed--ready & waiting !!!!
The tinkerbell sign is so cute ---- that is such a wonderful idea & Thank You so so so much for adding us !!! That is so great !!! Just a little more info about us -- we are doing the later dinner seating & are doing Palo on Saturday night !!!!! and I'm not sure of our room # --- it's 25?? something ??? Not sure ---------- And of course STILL NO DOCUMENTS HERE IN TN YET !!!!!!!! The suspense is killing me --- I need Docs now-- hurry Please Mr. Delivery Man -- Bring me my docs Please -- ASAP !!!!
Ok --- back to work now --- I just wanted to post & say that I saw the wonderful sign & am very excited about the Cruise -- I don't know how many of you guys we'll meet up w/but if we see you the Double Dip 9/16-9/23 Group -- we'll head your way & introduce ourselves. We are so looking forward for this trip and to meeting new people & new couples--- This Cruise is our 2nd Anniversary Present to ourselves -- So Mickey here we come !!!
If there are any more signs or things I could print to use for our door Please send me in the direction of those links -- -so we will be able to identify ourselves --- I am going to try & get a sign made myself for us -- so wish me luck !!

OH yeah I forgot --- I work in Collections (we do mostly medical in the SW Va area - NE Tn area & some parts of NC ). My Dh is a child care worker -- in other words he's a full time babysitter to ages 5-18 that comes their Emergency Shelter - for problems in school or home -they are there for abuse (physical,sexual,etc), for drug & alcohol abuse, and many other things. We have will be married 2 years 10/16/2006 - we have no children -- and no pets yet -- I got my Dh to agree on a puppy now we just have to decide what kind. We love to spend time w/our family & friends and just enjoy life and are huge Disney freaks. My Dh proposed ot me @ Disney and we went on our Honeymoon to Disney (4-day Cruise & 8 days @ Disney post Cruise) Anyway that's a little about us -- if you have any more ?? just ask -- I'll be glad to answer.

I just used a bunch of clip art to create the sign. The background is from this site. http://www.disneyexperience.com/customize.html There are some great ones there, it's listed under wallpaper. I will email you the list of names to make it easier. It took a little while to go through the posts. As for the program I used it's called Disney Mickey and Friends 1.0. I got it years ago and I'm not even sure I gout send you a copy. If you know a way let me know.
