Sadly I do not remember what eveyone else has posted care to share again?
I am a technician for the local telephone company, as is my Dh. He is a lineman and I work in the central office. I also have 4 kids, ages 11,9,7 and 3. THey will NOT be joining us on this cruise, as we just cruised as a family in May (the first double dip cruise BTW). Back in 2004, stressed from having 4 kids and no time alone, DH and I decided to start taking a week to ourselves once a year. Instead of being Mom and Dad for a few days, we could become Amanda and Steve again spend time on us! I think it is so good for us and well thats my story. (side story) the first year we did it, was sept 2004 and we did a 4 day wonder cruise where we met ericamanda01!

Yes, I'm shouting. We didn't get docs for dd 12- nor did my in-laws whose cabin she's supposed to be in. We all got docs though- she's not listed. DCL told fil they think hers were sent out in a separate package. She's flipping out because she's worried she can't go.

Princess Amanda- I'll pm our cabin. We're on deck 6 too.

since she is old enough to understand what it means, how bout logging onto your cruise via dcl site and show her that her name is still on the ressie? That way she know ticket or no, they do have her as a listed passenger and she will be going?

Thank you for including us... We are still here and I am not a snob really...just trying to move my DD into a new college, other two start shcool next week and I have TWO business trips before this cruise.
I can not wait to drive over that last bridge thingy and see her start to slowly appear-that is my first misty moment and then I am a blubberhead during alot of the moments for the rest of the week.
This group sounds like a whole lot of fun....I can't wait to see all of you on the ship.

Silly me I gave the door sign job to Tara (11 yr old DD) and she did an awesome job, she made two for every night as we have two cabins..I gave her all the wrtong days for Costa Maya, Pirate's night and the formal night....She gave me that look...you know the one like "Come on Mom you're not that old and senile yet are you?"

Maybe I am.........Tell me again how you guys managed to sneak off without the kids....mine won't let me go to Wal Mart without them.

We have another miletstone coming up soon! 3200 soon! Oh yeah I think we will be at 3500 by cruise time! That is if you all pick up the slack for me when I am gone nest week! Whatcha gonna do without me???

At this rate we may make 4000!!!

I'm in Accounting, but not an Accountant, meaning I do the work, feel the stress, but dont get the pay!!! I work for an engineering sales company. Intresting cruise conection - our company (not our Canada location) has a contract with I believe Carnival to supply them with the equipment that creates fresh water from salt water for all their ships.
