I am new to the forums, and my family and I are booked for the 9/16/2006 Double Dipper Sailing of the Magic. As a matter of fact, it is a present for my 40th, I mean 29th as well as my son's 4th. It will be the 5 of us, husband and 3 kids - 4, 6, and 9 on our first cruise. We are so excited! If anyone has additional information, please reply!!!

Welcome! I have a DD, age 8, will be 9 in Nov. Is your 9 year old a boy or a girl?

The top of the day seems to be who has and who has not received docs. Have you guys received anything yet?

He will be a happy camper. It's an early birthday gift. My birthday present will be here in 17 days!!!! OH YEAH! GONNA BE IN WDW IN 17 DAYS!!!!! God help Eric, because he's gonna need some serious help the day we arrive. I just know that I will drive him insane!

I still haven't gotten my docs. I think they will be going to my sister-in-law house so I should be the last to recieve them!

Can't wait until the cruise. I am almost ready have all my travel size stuff. I just need to take my dress in to get it altered (sp?).

Doris is one of those people who consider a trip downtown as traveling. She takes a her vacation and stays home and cleans her closets out. She told me today that she would rather die than to get on a cruise ship. Bless her heart. She is a great secretary, but she is boring as he.....

As for what I do, I am an attorney. Doris has been with me for a little over three years. She is great. Before her I had a wonderful lady, who as much a friend as an employee. We had far more in common. Her son graduated college and she decided she didn't need to work any more. I say that her leaving hurt worse than my divorce did.

Oh gawsh I work with a few people like that. They dont ever actually go on vacation with their vacation days. And these are people that have 30 plus years of service so they get 5 weeks of vacation! Most of them stay home and chill....I can not imagine doing that! I only get 3 weeks and boy do I stretch those days! I wonder what it is like to take vacation days and just rest up???
Sorry you olost your friend! That stinks ! I know what that feels like too. I worked with Bill from 2002 to 2005...just the 2 of us all day. He was my age and friends with my DH (so dont go there guys!) LOL but when you spend that much time with someone you just get to know each other really well. He was a hoot and had a nasty mouth and mind! HAHA He rubbed off on me and let me just apologize right up front to anyone I may offend! I can be a bit colorful....Anywho we got along great mostly, we did have our spats. Ialways joked that he was the brother I Never wanted! HAHA
Amanda will remember cause I called her when they told Bill that he could go to a different job!! LOL I was so sad!


BUt luckily I got a pretty neat lady to replace him so it all worked out well!

Gail Wish I could help but I have never done this. Since we drive it is not an issue for us.

PS I have an uncle that is goingto be stationed in Ft Knox in Feb.....How far is that from you?

Yes, I'm shouting. We didn't get docs for dd 12- nor did my in-laws whose cabin she's supposed to be in. We all got docs though- she's not listed. DCL told fil they think hers were sent out in a separate package. She's flipping out because she's worried she can't go.

Princess Amanda- I'll pm our cabin. We're on deck 6 too.
