yep we did. They did not want to get off the ship that day, so we said okey dokey everyone get thee to they clubs and no checkng out whilst we are not on board. Took a taxi to majhaual, spent about 3 hours there and it was the best day of the trip!!!!!hahaha and PS not to cause trouble for ya, but are you sure you want to do the ruins???? If its your thing I guess it will be great but seems rather hot and uncomfortable to my whenever I try to picture us doing it! LOL
Of course there were a few who did it on our May Double dip, most said it was great. I did here from a few that said it was hot and uncomfortable! LOL

Funny you ask b/c I was having second thoughts, especially with the little ones. I have to think about this one. I would really love to see the ruins b/c I dont know when I'll get the chance again. The tour is at 8:30am so it cannot be that bad at this time (I hope). I need to talk to DH and see if he wants to stay w/the kids. I doubt it though. Afterwards we are stopping at the school which is something I am really looking forward to.

Good Morning all, You guys were busy last night.

seashells I am not good at the chat stuff either. It's hard to follow, too many conversations going on at once. I wanted to know what night they suggested for Palo. One said thursday, but that's lobster night. DH would not go for that..

I filled out all the docs this morning. This is getting exciting. My bil & sil can't sign up for excursions until 7/3. I hope we can get the same ones. They are new to this so I will prob do theirs too when their time comes. I am glad July 4 is a holiday and I don't have to go to work.

Have a good Saturday. I am off to the grocery store, two loads of laundry are going. My youngest is working beach service this summer. He is having a blast. They set up chairs & umbrella's for about two hours. Then they play all day. They they take down arround 4. He is working hard but having way too much fun. I packed him a lunch and some gatorade and out the door he goes
at 6:45am. Oh to be a teen ager at the beach. I wish I had grown up down here.

It looks like everyone was getting ready for tonights late night, last night! Well I only have one more paper due and I am done with school. Nothing like putting it off until the last minute!

Since some of you have been wondering where everyone is I thought I would pop in and say "hi". Been lurking, just not posting.

We are not booking anything tonight. Since there is nothing I care to book I figured I would wait longer to pay off our cruise in case DS decides not to come. He sure better come once we pay for him! This vacation is all about relaxation. We will probably take a taxi to the beach in Costa Maya. I may not even get off the ship in Cozumel.

My cousin is going to try to make Palo ressies. I told her that she would have to get up at 3am to get ressies. Don't think she believed me.

I sure hope that the Beach Bugs are on board when we cruise. We never spent so much time in Rockin' Bar D as we did on our cruise in Sept. They were so much fun and played such a wide variety of music. And they were actually very good! The only other band we enjoyed on DCL was the Charles Marshall Band and they are no longer with DCL.

We have a land/sea booked for 5/3/07 and the Eastern 9/29/07 booked. DD and our two adorable DGD's will be coming in on the Eastern with us. It will be so much fun with the little ones!

Oh, it is so much fun hearing everyone talking about their plans for excursions. For now, we are planning the Atlantis Submarine excursion in Cozumel; Parasailing and snorkel and floats at CC; and the beach at Costa Maya (not decided which). I would love to do the Stingray Swim at CC also, but DD doesn't like the idea. I am also the only adult in our party, so unless we do plan a group meal at Palo, I will miss that. I think brunch would be for me. DD and I went over the Navigators from the first DD cruise and if the schedule stays the same, there are family activities every night that DD wants us to do together. Since this cruise is her birthday present from me, she is getting to call all the shots.

I feel ya!!! If seeing the ruins is something you have always wanted to do, then you should do it. I would not you to regret not doing it. Im just worried about you with the kiddos. but I am a lazy person so the idea of getting all hot and sweaty on vacation makes me shudder

I think David and Ivan would be a very nice tour and I would love to see it but they charge $40USD for children under 12 years of age, which would include my 18 month old and 4 year old. That's kind of steep. Don't know what to do...

Here is a thought....stroller? on tour at the ruins?? talk about a PITA on the other hand no stroller on tour at the ruins..well if you 18 mnth old is anything like my 3 yr old...aint no way im going to far with him without a stroller cuz *I* sure aint carrying him......PS your trip next year is it the sat after thanksgiving? We sailed that week in 2004 and it was lovely!
anywho back to D&I's tour...were you going on the full day or the half day tour?? Let me ask some of my buds from the May how they think an 18 mnth old would do but answer me about the stroller first k?

Yes, we did a four night on Nov 2005, which falls on my DDs birthday and she thought the whole pirate night them was b/c of her bday. She loved it. I want to do it again on her bday since this Sept cruise will be for mine and she is already asking, how about my birthday? Which BTW, would be the same day we will be in Costa Maya. Huh? What to do on my birthday then?

haha we were in cozumel on my bday! the 31st! I gotta tell you it felt great to be sitting on a beach in coz while having a margarita on my bday! it was great!
