Hi all,

Graduation is over. Only a few tears were shed. Wearther was perfect. It's amazing how fast these kids went from 2nd grade to HS graduates. All the parties are over, most of the relatives have left.

I have a new website for pirate stuff. deadmentellnotales.com. One of our hotels uses it for pirate parties. I haven't had time to look at it, but there is a lot of stuff there.

have a great day.

Guys,
I am leaving for my two week vacation tomorrow. I am really looking forward to actually being there. Can't say the same for the plane ride - too long! Keep the thread going! Talk to you all when I come back.

Behave!

Sirena, hope you have a good vacation!

I am sooo jealous of everyone. It seems like everyone else is finished with school or they are starting their summer vacations. We still have 3 weeks of classes left and we don't leave for Alaska for another month. Oh well I guess we will appreciate it that much more when the time comes! Can you tell I am sick of school?! :surfweb:  :hourglass :badpc:

Hello everyone. I have spent most of the week on the parks thread trying to do a little planning for my Christmas trip to WDW. June 11th is my 180 mark for making ADR during that trip. I already have received my tickets for MVMCP and now I'm trying to get accurate information on when the Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages will be made available.

This weekend begins the first Double Dip Cruise (if I recall correctly). Does anyone know if anyone is going to do a "live from" report? I can't wait for them to all get back and start posting things about the schedule.

Hellooooo!!

I am finally home (wheew!!)

We had a great time on our NCL repo to Vancouver ... not the Magic, but LOTS better than Carnival!! We just could not turn down the great deal (the return plane tickets home cost more than the cruise!!) We spent a day touring Vancouver and really enjoyed the Lewis & Clark excursion in Astoria.

Maybe you already knew this (we did not) but there are only two ports in the world where the pilot has to fly by helicopter and be dropped off onboard the cruise ship .... Bordeaux, France and Astoria, Oregon. That was fun to see. The Columbia River made for some very strong currents entering into the Pacific. :rolleyes2 A few onboard didn't take it well. My family thought it was a free rollercoaster ride. :rotfl:

We returned just long enough to pack and send my son off to a boy scouting campout. Then a week to finish (well, mostly finish) our end of year schoolwork. Now the girls and I are packing for our a girl scouting (horse ranch) campout. We are really busy these days.

Tiffany has already updated the website. If we have missed anyone, please let me know. I have about 10 pages to catch up on and then I will be back!! pirate:

If I have missed out on the bracelets, please count us in for 2 adults. Thanks so much!! :wizard:

Amanda & Sirena have great vacations. I can't wait to here from Amanda. Are you doing any excursions?

Have a safe trip.............

I didn't even think about a live trip thread from the first DD cruise. I will be on the look out for that!

I hope so too. Did you read the veranda man? His was fun. TOo bad he was sick. I don't think I could find the time to do all that.

I read it. He apparently does one everytime he sails, which has been three times since I first booked this cruise, because I have read his others also. A lot of the information that I have about these cruises has come from him and his live threads. I am so thankful that people take the time to do this, but I will not get to take three Disney cruises in a little over one year, so I can't see me using my time to write such long posts and answer everyone's questions. I'll be glad to when I get home, but not while still on the ship. I'll up sitting in a lounger drinking something delicious.

i will be in the chair right next to you..................

No computer time for me onboard :sad2: I'll be on the other side of you in that comfy deck chair on deck four. :cloud9:

I'll bring the 2 for 1 Bahama Mama specials and meet you at the deck chairs!! :drinking1

Hi everyone! I haven't posted since the beginning of this thread so I am really out of the loop. DH and I just returned from the 5/13 Eastern Magic cruise. It was our 9th DCL cruise and the best one yet. We cannot wait until the 9/16 DD. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with this thread now.

Donna

Welcome back Donna! How was the cruise?

Well as far as computer time on the cruise I won't be on the computer at all. I will be too busy sleeping, drinking, sun bathing, swimming, eating, ect.....

Two for one drink specials and were up to four or more Disers!!! It sounds like a party to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so ready. We had two blenders going last week end................ I like all drinks frozen. Not a big margarita fan but almost everything else..My favorite is the konk kooler...................

OK since we're on the subject of adult beverages... :drinking1 I just received my cruise info packet (it came in a nice folder, but not near as cute as the little travel trunk in 2004) anyway, I skimmed through it and there is definately a "no cooler on board" statement. It said something like don't bring coolers onboard at embarkation. I thought Disney had a "look away" policy on bringing your own booze. :rolleyes1 I brought a bunch of wine onboard last time but it was in my carry on - not concealed but not in a "cooler". For this trip I bought a rooling cooler - there is no way you're not going to know I have a stash.... will I be turned away? :confused3 The cooler full of booze would be a nice tip for the porter :smooth:

Then I get all the margaritas because they're my favorite. I like the frozen drinks also. I have never tried a konk kooler, but it is on my lists of absolutely must do's for the cruise. I have been reading some of the other threads and apparently it is the drink of choice for DISers.
