We go to a lot of SCA/LARP events, so the investment in pirate: gear is worth it for us. There are a lot of seamstresses making bodices and chemises on ebay, but I have heard if you have a sewing machine and a little patience a chemise, bloomers and a skirt and bodice are easy to make. I own a machine but the only thing I know how to do is hem pants. I am getting really excited as the days to cruise time get smaller, when can CCC people book online is it June 15th or 16th? :confused3 I am gonna' book an extra dinner or brunch at Palo...I was planning on a dinner and a brunch, but now I think I wanna' go three times! PurpleTart are you with me? Thanks Princess for offering your luggage services, I think I have a mad grip on our luggage situation, I bought one of those collapsable coolers with the wheels, so I am just gonna' roll on board. :lmao:

Yeah, Yeah top of the Page!!!!

Anybody tried the high tea and brunch before? Is it worth it? $10 each also? I didnt go to Palo last time b/c DD4 did not want to stay at the OC. I tell her now that if she wants to go to Mickey's boat she needs to stay at the Club. She says "sure" now.

I really want to at least try dinner so I can taste the chocolate souffle everyone talks about. No kids apply to high tea/brunch as well?

I think no children are allowed anytime at Palo. :smokin: They wanna' give the parents a vacation, too. :rotfl: I cancelled my order for the passporter's at Amazon.com and ordered my book straight through Jennifer and Dave. I should have done that from the beginning :stir: but I was trying to save $$$$. I would rather pay the extra $9.00 and have my book next week rather than June, ugh :badpc: I have a two week vacation in June, I wanna' go on a Disney Cruise now, anyone know a good place to stow away on the ship? We don't need to eat in the restraunts, we'll just sleep on Deck 9 chairs and eat at Topsiders, no problem... :teeth:

Then I think DH will have to babysit while I have brunch/high tea. And this time I will not feel bad about leaving DD4 crying in the OC as long as I get to go to Palo for dinner. :Pinkbounc Not really, I probably would not enjoy it :sad2: I really really hope she stays. I cannot believe no DISers have a 4 y/o in this cruise! C'mon people rent one! :rotfl2:

Ananda it's nice to hear from you again. I go to the gym four to five times a week. I went to the dr yesterday and told him there had to be something wrong with me since I work out like a crazy person and only eat salad- most of the time :) and I am not losing any weight. He told me every thing was fine and to keep working out. He did x- ray my knees since they really have been bothering me. He was very nice in his young age to tell me it could just be I was getting older. We do go on base so the doctors look 15.

I am so jealous- you are going in a month. Have a blast and take good notes.

We have always done Disney Excursions. I am always nervous about not making it back to the ship.

We also drive, so we can bring drinks also. We are staying a the Residence Inn so we can bring it down and you can pick it up.

I love being one of the first ones on the ship. So I am hoping to get up and out early in the morning.

Me??? Take notes??? YOu do realize I am the one who is notorious for not giving trip reports eh? LOL
I feel the same way as you, about the weight thing. I dont understand why "I" cant see that I have lost weight. My coworker tells me I Have, but I dont see it. Then I get discouraged and that makse it easier for me to fall off the wagon, so to speak! That is what happened last time. I had lost about 40 lbs in early 2004..but I could not see. I still saw the short fat chic in the mirror. Ya know, then we went cruising in sept of that year ( where we met Eric and Amanda! good times good times!) and I never got back on the wagon.....sigh being fat sucks!

Amanda you are too funny! :rotfl2: If anyone hears crazy laughter at late dining, it will be me and her!

Speak for yourself missy! Everyone else, the above statement should read " If anyone hears crazy laguher at late dining, it will be me! But if you hear sane laughter it will be her!":lmao:

Amanda,

So you are going on 2 double dips!!?? Don't forget to bring navigators so we can plan ahead :teeth:

I really want to go to the gym more often but cannot get up early!! My DS1 is going to bed at about 12-1am and I am just too tired. I know, making excuses. I've been going only like twice a week. Better than nothing... :confused3

Yes, at this point in time the plan is to go on 2 double dips, however the 2nd one is not, I repeat, NOT paid in full yet, so that can change at any time! :rotfl2:
Save navigators for us? Sure....mail em off in a timely matter??? Ugh see my above post to Joanne! :rotfl: Let us put it this way....after our cruise in Sept 04, AManda made comment that she really liked the Disney cookbook on board. DH and I cruised with the kids in Nov 2004, and I decided to pick one up for her as a Xmas gift.....ask Amanda exactly WHEN in 2005 ashe received her Xmas gift!!!:lmao:

High tea is not for me.... I'm a poet and didnt know it!
I did not think it was worth the time or extra money!
Now dinner and Brunch! Awesome....ANd I wont be paid in Full whenever CCC can book so I am relying and Amanda to handle our Palo dinner ressie for the 4 of us:teeth: You knew that right chica??? Oh yeah, can we have dinner at PALO together one night??;)

Aw Man, that's just not right! :guilty: Actually, I am so happy for you (I hope you have an amazing time) duh, who am I kidding, I KNOW you'll have an amazing time! You'll have to write us and tell us what's what! SCA and LARP are real life reinactments of periods of time. We go to a lot of Medieval & Renaissance Faires so the pirate thing works (kinda') :wizard:

I don't think it is, but that's just MHO. I think the dinner and brunch are amazing, but high tea, not for me

We did the high tea in 2004. It was fun, it was just the girls, There were seven of us girls. I wouldn't do it again. I would rather be sitting by the pool with a Pina Colada. :rolleyes1

Now that's my idea of high tea!

OK - High tea is not going to be on my list then. I doubt that'll have "time" anyway. I really felt so pressed for time before. It was like I had to run to get ready for the show then to drop off the kids then to late dinner. I actually lost weight with all the walking on the boat. We were by the aft elevators and my family on the other side. So that means not matter what you eat you'll burn off the calories. Weird thing was that I didn't eat as much as I thought I would either. I guess I was too busy looking for Mickey to take pics. DH says he does not want to race against the clock this time and just relax and play shuffle board. I cannot stay still though so that'll be tough for me. :rolleyes2

Good Morning all.............Have a Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

I am soooooo happy I don't have to drive to Seattle this weekend. In the past 3 weeks we've made that drive twice. It's 4 hours one way, so needless to say, I have spent 16 hours of the past 3 weeks in my car. Now don't get me wrong I love my car, but not that much! :yay: YEAH FRIDAY!!!!! :yay:

We are driving to St Petersburg today, which is about 4 1/2 hrs, to visit sis & family. I am actually looking forward to it. Being a WAHM I don't get to go out much so that'll be a nice change of scenery.

I am doing the laundry and trying to get this house organized but the two kids are running around leaving toys everywhere! :furious: I better start packing soon so when DH gets off from work we can step on outta here.

BTW, what kind of info do you get from the passporters that you dont get on the DISboards? :confused3

Ilonka :wave2:

Sirena- What do you do working at home? You can PM me if you'd like.
Thanks-

Everyone- Still trying to figure out how we could do cool signs. I looked at the links but didn't read them too closely.

So we're getting closer. I can't wait. We extended our park visit by one day already. We just can't get enough Disney.

Julie
