Sounds too good to be true. I'll definitely try it! Thanks for the great tip and saving. :cheer2: Will I still be able to access my ressie through the SCL website? I want to make all my event bookings ahead. :confused3

Yes, you can still access your ressie through the DCL website. Let me know if this works for you.

Seems everyone else in my family is dropping out or not sure if they want to go anymore. I hope we can still have fun even if it is the 4 of us, DH, DD3 and DS1... I really liked being part of a group last time.

Sirena,

We have done both. A group of 12 & 16. The first time it was just the four of us. We met some really nice people on these boards and had a great time. We still keep in touch with them and that was in 2002. The group was fun we had Grandma's down to a 9 year old. This one will be hard with just me and my husband.

Hi guys! I have not been getting emails about any replies so please forgive me lateness in welcoming our new cruisers! I am on the way out the dorr to take my soon to his ortho appt but I will post moe later!

Sorry to interrupt but I know we have a lot of tween girls this sailing...I was at Kmart the ither evening and I saw "Dream Life" which supposedly a pretty hard toy to find this year. They had 2 in stock, so I bought them in case anyone that I knew was looking for this game. If you are looking for this game, let me know and I will help you out. Nothing in it for me, I just wanted to help and maybe pay it forward :-) For some help that I received :-)

PS JOANNEL...My brother lives in Niceville! LOL Small world. I am assuming FWB stands for Fort Walton Beach??

Good Morning Guys!!!! Is everyone cold? We are still having extremely cold weather here. Yesterday, the temperature made it up to 40 degree, but we are paying for it this morning. I rain yesterday evening and then the temps dropped over night, now we have streets of ice. All the surrounding school systems had to cancel school today.

I hope someone, somewhere is warm!!!

Yes, FWB is Fort Walton. But even here in Florida it is not warm today. I had frost on the windows this morning. But it's hard to complain. I haven't had to shovel snow in years. We are originally from the northeast. The Airforce sent us to Florida and we stayed.

:earboy2:

I am booking a cat 12 but for $100 more I can book cat 11 (deck 6) or $200 for cat 10 (deck 1-2). What is the real difference between these three categories. None of them have portholes, so what gives? :confused3

Last time I stayed on cat 9 and loved it. I got the Fl resident disct and was able to book it paying the same than a cat 12. Wish they have this disct again for 9*16*06 but I think this is a special rate already.

There is really no difference in a 12 and 11. A 10 has a split bathroom, other than that no difference than the 12 or 11. The split bath means that in one bathroom, there is a sink and a toilet, and the other bath has the shower/tub and sink. I say stick with the 12. But I have always been one to just want to be on the ship. I will use the extra money for more drinks or souvenirs or excursions.

I put down my deposit today and asked for cat 11 so I could choose the room #. I got 6109. Cat 12 they can put you on the lower decks 1-2 and my DH got an intense earache b/c of the pressure on deck 2. He went to the medical center thinking it was an ear infection but it wasn't. So we want to stay as high as possible.

Please tell me if it is true that I can make any changes to the ressie (names, category, room #, etc) before I pay in full. Also, do I wait until my ressie is paid in full to transfer to DU?

I just realized that I dropped off a pillowcase on th 11/27/05 cruise and never went back to claim it! I thought they would bring it to the room. I guess I'll take another one and try to remember this time. :goodvibes

I would have your ressie transfered to DU now, I don't know how long their instant rebate is good for.

I just realized that I am not getting emails either. Hi new cruisers! It has been quite chilly here in Florida too guys. I think we might reach 63 degrees today....IF WE'RE LUCKY. But we're looking forward to warmer days. I originally booked our trip directly with Disney but transfered the ressie to our travel agent in New Jersey. I can't remember if we got an onboard credit or not.

Oh my, I'd kill for 63 degree. We have been hovering around freezing for weeks. It is expected to get down to 17 degree tonight. September just can't get here quick enough for me!!

17 degrees sounds like our DayTime High!!!!! But that is Michigan for ya.
You either deal with it or move. (or just stay in the house and hope it passes quick!!!!!

Hope every one had a great Christmas.

I booked our room today. We are in 6100. That should be easy to remember. We also have late seating.

This will be our first vacation with out kids. :guilty: Not that we see our kids much on these cruises any way. I hope they put us at a table with others. They told me you can now book Palo's on line. That is new. We always rushed on the ship to do that.

Have a happy new year.

Joanne

Hey Guys!
Sorry I have been gone for so long (almost 2 months LOL) - just general craziness. We have added 2 to our sailing party - so that brings our group to 9 adults and 4 children. We just keep growing lol!
Talk to y'all later!
Merry

Belated MerryChristmas, Happy Channukah, Ramadan, and I'm not sure of Divali but it's going to be coming around again. I can't think of a Buddhist holiday at all, sorry.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi. We're getting closer to the trip. We're looking forward to our first trip with our new daughter, Madalyn, whose not here yet, but will be.

Anyone going to the parks before the cruise? We'll be at BCV that Wednesday-Sat.

Happy New Year.
Julie
