I have a funny story about the Epcot Dive tank. When we were there this last May, my sister who is a diver had my dd3 over by the tank where they dive. The divers were on the other side of the tank by the Coral Reef. All of a sudden one of the divers bee lines it to my sister and dd. He went right up to the glass and started waving. My sister use to dive with him here in Chicago. Small World!

It is a small world after all... Now I have that song in my head forever. pirate:

It is always in my head!
Can't wait to hear the ships horn ring out with "When you wish upon a star"...now that is a sound to have in your mind forever! :thumbsup2

YIPPEE!!! :thumbsup2 Thanks Tigger&Bubba
Glad to see someone joining in the effort! Gotta keep us at least on page 1 or 2! :p

Hey guys, What do you all think about having a pajama breakfast one morning on board? We are having one this year and it sounds like alot of fun. You come to breakfast in your P.J.'s, Disney P.J.'s preferred. It is arranged with the staff on board so you have a specific time and seating. I thought it would be a great family thing to do. I can find out all about it and would be willing to organise it if anyone is interested. :dance3:

That sounds so fun! I love being able to go out in my pj's! :woohoo:

Can't wait till we can REALLY start planning things....hate to start planning and DCL changes things up, as they often do....so gotta wait a bit...but once the new year hits, I am putting on my planning cap! (yeah, like I ever take it off! :rotfl2: )

It is so hard on the sea days too....I think they do character breakfasts on sea days, dont they?? And we love Palo brunch...can't miss that!!! Ohhhh, so many choices! :rotfl:

It is done on a sea day. 8:00-9:30am is when this years is planned. I have Palo's brunch 11:30. I don't have to have a big breakfast. Coffee, fruit and yogurt probably. There are about 40 people signed up already in a couple of days time. I'll let you know how it goes. The last time they did it everyone had a great time from what I'm told. I can find out all the ins and outs. It's all optional anyway. :goodvibes
There are alot of extra activities with this DIS group. It is an 11 day cruise with four sea days. I am not participating in everything. That's the beauty of choice and diversity. We may skip Pirate night altogether. :scared1:

I think the jammie thing sounds great and I cannot wait to hear your report when you return! :goodvibes Great idea to eat small, then do brunch! I LOVE brunch!!!!!

Skip pirate night?? :confused3 Explain.....
I always feel worn out when cruising, like I have to do everything! But I hope next time to take a step back and relax more! :cloud9:

What other types of things do you all have planned?
I am always up to have a DIS meet for sailaway, jammie breakfast sounds fun, and it is great when someone has a DIS party in their room. :thumbsup2 I think it enhances the cruise to meet up once in awhile for some fun! Maybe even on an excursion or something.

Here's another bump! Yes, I am too anxious for this cruise and it is SOOOOO far away :guilty:

But we had our ultrasound today and found out we are having another boy! :cool1: So on our cruise it will be us, grammy and our TWO sons!!!! I know we don't know each other but i had to share the news! Hope you all don't mind! ;)

Congratulations Kamy and Family! What exciting news. Thanks for sharing. By the time we all meet we will know each other. :goodvibes

I am so happy for you. Thank you for sharing the wonderful news. I agree share, share, share. We are our own little community here and by the cruise we will all feel like family.

Sorry, I have not been on much but the pool people split our cable line which includes the internet. :furious: It was a marked line that we pointed out to them. I am checking email at work so I can't be on for long. I am regretting getting this pool. They delivered the pool at 9:30 pm on Friday night :confused3 Dug the hole about noon on Monday, my garage is full of pool pieces and I have a drive way full of sand. They realized when they started putting the pool together that they had a 15 by 24 foot pool but the bottom brackets for a 16 by 25 foot pool. They had to have the manufacture ship new brackets because supposedly we have the last pool that size from the warehouse. My dd3 also can't play in the back yard because it is not safe. It is also suppose to be 99 here this weekend. Sorry to vent but I am just so frustrated.

Sorry to hear your pool is going so poorly. The good news is that it will get done and you'll be enjoying it soon. :sunny: It seems that no construction goes without challenges. Keep us all informed. Let us know when you're floating in a tube, sipping an iced tea. ;)
I spent the evening searching out patterns and fabrics for my DH's pirate costume. pirate: Finally got all the fabrics. I have to drop it off tomorrow at the seamstress if I expect to have it done in time for this Sept. cruise. I have to select fabric for my costume yet and get it to her pronto. So I guess we are committed to participating in Pirate night costumes. (or we ought to be commited). Still have to find buttons and trim for his jacket and order his boots. Guess we'll be all set for next year too.

Sorry about your pool Heather! UGH! I would be frustrated too. It has been so hot here as well, so I understand the heat issue. It is too hot to even take ryan out to the community pool...it is over 90 by noon. Too much for an 11mth old and his pregnant mommy! LOL! :teeth:

Tigger&Bubba- wow!!! :bitelip: You are really getting into the pirate night! I am so jealous! Are you all having a contest or just getting all decked out?? Sounds so fun! :woohoo:

Thanks for all the congrats! It is exciting to now plan for our new son's arrival! And we have our WDW trip coming up soon...cannot wait!!!!! We had a Disney Magic show at the local mall in Raleigh and we took Ryan and he got a picture with Mickey, so that was a nice precursor to our trip....and Ryan acted like he knew him! LOL! :thumbsup2 Guess the two trips he has already been on helped! And who said babies don't remember? LOL! :goodvibes

Even though the cruise is a long way away, we are getting more and more excited all the time. Time should fly by.....especially with another little one!

I have my cable back.

They should be putting the pool in today but it will still be days before we can swim in it.

How cool about the pirate costumes! We have pirate costumes for a halloween a few years ago. My dd does not have one but we will come up with something for her. I just have to find them in storage. I think I know were they are and I have over a year to find them.

Also, I am up for a pj breakfast and I know my dd would be. Not sure about the other adults in our party but if they don't want to do it they don't have to. DD and I will be there.

Heather,:fish: Great to hear the pool is coming along and cable is back.

I'm not much for contests. I like everyone to win! No pirate contest as far as I know. Everything is at the seamstress now. pirate:

There is a scrapbook thing planned. I do scrap but the time is too close to the wine tasting that I am co hosting, so unfortunately I'll miss that one. :sad2:

Now there is talk of a mickey bar eating contest. who can eat a mickey bar the fastest. We'll definately skip that one. :mickeybar

Also talk of a "secret Mickey" gift exchange. I'm in for that. :thumbsup2

My DH is begining to wonder when we will relax. I'll skip some things and I have purposely not linked our dining. :goodvibes

We have scheduled three straight days of scuba diving. :fish:

Lamar is all set for the Grass Skirt Fraterinty

Fish extender will be finished this weekend. I'll post you all a picture.
So as you can tell we are in high gear planning mode. :hourglass

Dianna

All that sounds so fun Dianna!! :cool1: I agree though, gotta find some time to chill out! :goodvibes

Heather- good about the cable and pool!!! soon soon soon..ahh, swimming in your own pool will feel so good! :sunny:

I am up for doing planned activities but agree that we have to have time to chill and enjoy our family time...sometimes things get so hectic on cruises!I start to feel like I am going crazy!

I am up for PJ breakfast and wine parties!!! :p
