09/15/07 Early Check in September 15, 2007 Eastern

You got one too? :) I bought the matching outfits for us. We will be wearing them TO the boat. Sundresses for me and Hailey and the shirts for Dave & Wyatt. I'm sure there will be alot of them around.

Considering how many of us shop with DisneyShopping, I'm fearful we're all going to show up in the same Mickey sundress for dinner one night. Perhaps - to avoid embarrassment - we should all plan to match. Kind of like a "didn't you get the memo" sort of thing when all the other tables look at us in our coordinating ensembles.

Just sayin' :rolleyes1

I'd love for us to all wear matching shirts:wizard: I'd don't know, it would probably take a bit of dis magic for that to happen.:dance3:

Lisa we are in stateroom 6645 for the cruise roster.

I so need to get DisneyShopping to stop sending me emails, the packages keep coming and my husband is getting freaked (he will not be joining us on the cruise) and wondering what the heck is goin' on:scared1:

Yes, I too have the Mickey sundress, Hannah sundress, etc. We could have matching clothes along with matching (red) hair :rotfl2: too funny. I just love getting all the disney clothes and things, my sons were into TMNT and wrestling...:confused3 no disney. I just love the Pirate stuff too!pirate: I guess I have to wait for grandkids. For now I get to share dis with my two wonderful DGN's.

Hi Everyone -

I changed the time for the Cove Cafe Meet to 8:30 and updated the website with info PMed or e-mailed to me so far....

Just talked to our TA, she is expecting the docs to her by Tuesday, and then they will overnight them to us.

Although, seriously, it wouldn't be a crime if we didn't get them, would it? I mean, we've checked in online, and I'm sure that they could get us to sign the cruise contract at the port. I bet people show up all the time without the documents.

I guess it just makes it more "real"!

I could so do that....let me know what dress what day. I have them all:cutie:

Well, we got our docs today:dance3: . I was checking in online anyway and stopped at the payment info. If I choose the cash/other option can I only use that as payment option once on board? I dont want to start with the credit card because I do have some cash and Disney dollars I want to use first. Can I add the credit card info once on board?

I also noticed that there are no other options for identification except passport. I'm not worried because we all have passports, but what if we didnt get them? I thought they wernt required yet. Anyway, I guess I shouldn't be worried about that.

Last question, or maybe just confirmation. On my docs it clearly states no coolers. DH is sitting in bed beside me saying "are you sure we can bring the soft sided cooler?" ok, what do I tell him now that he just read it on the docs???

ok, two more questions...how many nights do little girls wear princess dresses?
Any ideas for me and DH for pirates night? I dont really want to buy costumes, just something simple and easy. Our girls have costumes and they are looking foward to mom and dad dressing up too.

Thanks everyone!!

Coolers - soft sided coolers are fine (at least they always have been), just don't have any ice in them. Make sure they are of the size that will fit through the x-ray machine.

I've seen the little girls in princess dresses mostly on formal and semi-formal night, and at the character breakfast.

Pirate night - if you don't want to do a costume, you could wear tropical type clothes, and then wear the pirate bandana they give you at dinner. That's how most people will be dressed anyway. Or you could wear a pirate t-shirt.

Last year we didn't do costumes for pirate night we went more tropical with some pirate accents. Here is a picture

thanks Judy!! Showing your reply to DH!!

Did anyone who doesn't live in Fl get their docs yet? My DH works at UPS and since they were supposed to be delivering them I asked him to look around, but he forgot:mad: , how could he?? We're through, he's definitely not going on this cruise with me!:rotfl2:
PS Don't tell him I said that, he's paying!!:goodvibes

My dh is a UPS Man too. In his defense, even if he looked around he never would have known what to look for. I just looked at my envelope and no where on it does it say Disney, or anything about who it's from.

We are in stateroom 2***. (DH doesn't want anyone to know where we are, he is funny like that):rotfl2:

Lori- great photo! So cute!!:goodvibes

Judy- I am wearing a pirate shirt I got at the Disney store and black capris. DH is wearing a pirate tshirt...so no costumes here, just pirate themed stuff....others in our group are just wearing pirate "colors": red, black and white!;)

I guess he can come with us on the cruise now!! LOL

We all have matching Mickey Hawaiian print outfits (the light blue ones), but they don't even know it yet! Can't wait to see dh's face! :rotfl: At least it is blue, for goodness sake. This is the print:

dd is planning on wearing her Disney Princess dresses any night she can get away with it.... you may see her in them a lot, but certainly for formal and semi-formal night.

I was so busy running errands I didn't get a chance to check with our TA regarding the docs.... she us usually very good about calling me and asking if I want to pick them up or if she should send them. We luckily live very near the largest AAA office in MO - comes in handy. Can't wait! :goodvibes

Ok - too funny - my husband picked out that exact shirt (pattern) and got our daughter the dress so they could match for pirate night.

I just noticed your ticker. What's a back2back2back cruise? I'm assuming you're taking two 3 day cruises tacked onto the 7 dayer. Because if you're taking 3 - 7 day cruises I'll be incredibly jealous and will once again cuss my place of employment. It's literally like pulling teeth to take off time around here. We'd love to book a 14 day cruise, but my work prevents us from doing so. Bummer.

Anyways... back to the back2back. Is there special pricing for that? Are there down days in between when the next cruise starts? Do you get to stay in the same cabin? Just wondering how the whole thing works.

Thanks.

Now... for the second time to post this...:headache:

Ok...so dont through stale donuts at me!

We are doing 3 - 7 day cruises.:goodvibes
The first one is the 8th, then 15th and last one is the 22nd.
There really is down time on Saturdays, when the ship is in port for new passengers and more food and goodies.
On Saturdays for us, we will be getting a new KTTW card and doing laundry.
Just about everything is closed to us... food , pool , our room. So we do laundry, get a tan, play basketball and meet the Captain and officers that wander by.
We get to keep the same room so no moving luggage for us.
The bennies for a back2 back is that you pay for air flights only once.
On the 8th cruise , we have our DD and DSIL joining us, he's a real cruise virgin and she's a born again cruise virgin:lmao:
I have to say we are very lucky to be able to do this vacation, we are artists and can take just about anytime off we want.
We had just paid off the first 11 day Med cruise, but a art gallery wanted us, so we cancelled it and booked the 3 cruises. And the gallery sucked!

If you ever have the time... do a back2 back... they are a BLAST!
We did a back2back in 2004..... great time.

Now you can through donuts...:rotfl2:

Ann :laundy:
