Well, sometimes people pick Late Dining because they don't want a lot of kids around.

I know I'm a litte biased, but I just wanted to assure our table that they won't be disruptive. (As a matter of fact, they usually ditch me pretty early in order to make it to one of the Kids Club programs! )

Kelly,

When we cruised in June of 2008 we got the late. I did not want it. For us that was to late. it had nothing to do with kids. I like to eat go to the shows then go sit up on deck and people watch. Or go to the Cove get a tea go sit outside and read a book and listen to my I Pod. Oh and look out at the water ( I find that calming) We go lucky they changed usto early on the second day.

That is funny that they ditch you early for the Kids Club programs.:rotfl: But I could see how that would make you sad.:sad1:

Doesn't that sound nice right now! I would love to be hanging out on the deck drinking some tea and looking out at the water.

Yes, the kids really enjoy their freedom on the ship. And Disney just plans such great activites for them every night that I found myself flying solo for most of the time. I had to pick a family activity every day that we would all do together and then an activity that each kid would do one-on-one with me each day. They fought me at first, but those were some of the best memories of the trip for all of us.

:cool1: :dance3: :cheer2:

Congrats Kelly on :bride: and pirate:

Kelly...my husband just said....he is glad that he will not be the only kid at the table....kids always welcome at our table. :)

Take care.....Monika:daisy:

Glad to see I won't be down in the dungeon alone! I was just happy to get something booked for this Member's Cruise. Its my first one and I was so nervous that first day of booking that I wouldn't get in. So I won't complain about my inside stateroom.

I have a veranda on the Transatlantic too. No way I would last 14 days without it! Its so cool that we'll both be on both those cruises! :cool1:

Now we just have to hope that NEXT years Member's Cruise doesn't conflict with the Transatlantic!

Down in the dungeon :lmao: . Well, it's better than not being on the ship, right? It's our first member cruise, too (we were on the phone for 1 1/2 hours and couldn't get anything better than deck 2; shows you how popular this cruise is!!!). And I also hope there's no conflict w/the TA.

Awww....you are just the sweetest thing! :thumbsup2

<party in Flo's room!;) >

:woohoo: :woohoo:

Have you spent much time on the meet thread for the TransAtlantic cruise? I was over there for a little while, but I can't keep up with them AND everyone here!

Yes, I try to do both, but I can see I'm going to lose a lot of ground next week since we'll be at AKV for 5 days (praying for nice weather) :hyper: :hyper:

DH prefers early dining; I like late. But since he feels stronger about it than I do, we go early. I'm sure there will be lots of great people at both. ::yes::

Thank your husband for the laugh, Monika! I'm so excited to meet you both!

(And Flo got the pirate: , not me....but thanks anyway :) )

Kelly,

I think that may be one thing Disney has on the others. They are all aobut kids. I am a kids to.:rotfl2:

I am not sure I want to thy another line. I also kind of like that there is no casino on board. Don't get me wrong if there was I would be there.

Well this is just a terrible problem to have!

Have a great time at AKV....its my favorite! We were just there in October and next October we're gonna be staying in one of the new Grand Villas in Kidani Village! :hyper: Can't wait!

I hope you get your nice weather too.

Monika,

Your husband sounds like me. I am the kid at the table. At the character breakfast I am the one getting all excited and my DS is hiding his face and shaking his head. So when they come over I make him take a picture with them. Oh I have to have one with them to.;)

Oh good! Maybe this time I'll have someone to go to the character breakfast with!

Both my kids didn't want to go last time! They are all about the character breakfasts in WDW, but for some reason on the ship they had little interest. I think they were feeling older on the ship with all the cool activities, but in WDW they revert back to 5 year olds.

So if they ditch me this time I'm gonna have to go with one of you bigger "kids"!
