I have to preface all this by saying that I couldn't get to this page for the last 3 days. Kept getting a server's-busy message??? I can't tell you how frustrating that was. All other DIS topics worked...but us

It is so darn cold here...22 right now, which is warm for some of you. But I am tired of winter now. DH's birthday is 2/2...groundhog's day. That darn groundhog better give me a good report...no shadow...good old Punxatawny Phil. We have lots of groundhog kings around PA and they will be on the news on Monday. DH is 25 days older than I am. Two years ago we had a trip planned for my 56th birthday...and I was so excited. Two days prior to our flight, I had an upper GI bleed...can you believe it? I ended up in the hospital instead. I was so upset. And then when I got out, I was trying to figure out how we could get down there...DH was going nuts...no WDW for me that birthday, and none this birthday now that I got my new knees!

Hurry up spring!

I go back to work MOnday, and I am not looking forward to it. Wish me luck.

Happy superbowl parties!

Lots of luck, Susan and I hope you are feeling better. Someone once told me that after 50 it's all patch, patch, patch. All I know is that apparently my warranty ran out a while ago , so now I just try to be thankful for all the good days.

I will admit I am spoiled. I have every kind of store that I can get to at the most 15 minutes. The Target, Sam’s and Wal-Mart are about 5 minutes the most away.

We have to drive to get anywhere. The thing that makes me maddest is that we used to have a Disney outlet store about 15 miles away, but they converted it to a regular Disney retail store. Phooey .

Ooooo 32 weeks! Its sounding better and better!

My brother is coming over to watch the game today. So I'm going to make some munchies. The kids don't care so much about the football as they do the food and Uncle Kevin. (He is the fun "pull-my-finger" uncle. )

It's all, "Mom are you gonna make that taco dip?", "Mom, where are those little hot dog thingys?" "Mom, can you make those sausage things?" "Mom, can you please, please make those chicken wings?"

So even though there will only be four of us, I end up making enough food for 12 of us just so that everyone gets their favorites.

It'll be fun though!

Our superbowl meal was Indian food--yummy! I can't think of too many things that are more delicious than butter chicken (so, OK, maybe Indian food doesn't say superbowl, but then did that Hitler movie, Valkyrie, which was released on 12/25, say Christmas? ).

Anyone watch the Pixar preview in 3D? Pretty cool!

Mary, was that a superbowl preview? (Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question.) Well, whatever it was, sorry I missed it 'cause I mostly love the Pixar stuff. (We really loved the short released w/Wall-E, Presto!)

So far we have 16 rooms.

That's how we were in Ohio. The only things within a 5 minute drive were a Wal*mart, grocery store and some run of the mill fast food joints (taco bell, mcdogfoods, wendys) Everything else was 30 minutes or more away.

Now here.....there is so much that is CLOSE!! I love it! There are still a few things that are 20-30 minutes away, but at least it's not everything!

Yes it was during the Super Bowl right before the halftime show. Mark got the free 3-D glasses at the grocery store a few weeks ago. There was a Dreamworks commercial (sorry I said Pixar before...there was a Pixar commercial too but not the 3-D one) and one for Sobe water in 3-D. Really cute.

Good evening all. Any one visit the closing of circuit city. I did today picked up a flip camcorder with a waterproof case. That should be great for castaway cay. also spent my day with DGD and we baked a cake for her 5th B-day. Her Birthday is really Tuesday, but we are celebrating here on Monday night. I would have done it tomorrow, except I must go to work.

He knows about the tumor but was on vacation when I got the news it was cancer. He might already know but I still want to talk with him about it since I handle his big client.
