Yeah! After my husband dialing for 2 hours yesterday and then an hour on hold we finally got through at 1pm. We have booked a catagory 8 oceanview room. Room 6000. This is our first cruise and our first time using our dvc for something disney. Congrats to everyone else that go through. I think I was reading somewhere about pins and I would be interested in one if that person sees this thread. What is everyone doing for transportation? I have tons of other questions as well.

Welcome to the group! We've got a great mix of brand new cruisers, brand new DVC Member Cruisers, as well as experienced cruisers. Any questions ask away.

If you check out post #1 on this thread you'll find out info on what the group is doing as well as links to our groups website. My DH Mark and I are doing the buttons for the group and the website has the info you need to send us to get one. I saw you mentioned pins and I just want to make it clear to everyone that these aren't pins like Disney trading pins but rather personalized buttons (you can see a sample on the website).

We've found over the years that it is the people we meet from the DIS that make each of the cruises special for us so we hope you stick around and get to know us and let us get to know you.

Annmarie,

Talked to dh about the party bus. He's like "eh. whatever." So here's our thing.....IF you need the 4 of us to make the numbers to help fill the bus, we'll ride over with everyone. If, on the other hand, you have the bus pretty much filled without us, then we're good driving on our own. Just keep us updated as you get your final numbers.

Made some ressies today for a quick trip to the world. Staying at SSR next Tuesday-Friday and hitting MVMCP. I'll get those soldiers on tape for you, Mary! We tried to stay at the Contemporary---figured we didn't HAVE to have a villa since we aren't staying a long time and it'd be fun to stay on the monorail line in a resort we've never stayed at. But they charge the $95 for booking a non-DVC Disney resort. Is that new? Kinda sad, because I thought it'd be cool to stay at every resort on property eventually.

Ah well. Nursing a headache. I think I'll take a quick nap.
