I sure hope you can get thru Karen since that is my check in day at OKW - I will be trying also - think I would have an inside loop to getting thru without calling since I'll be at the world.

Yes you have! I remember joking on more than one occasion that you should just drive over to celebration and get us all booked!

Hi! Some of you may know me already. We were on SSMC06. Oh my, was it THAT long ago? Mary will know for sure!

Anyway, we're going to call in and try to get on the ship for SSMC09!!! Mike looked at our point situation and I think we're good to do it all on points.

It'd be me (I'll be 40 something) dh (ditto), dd KT (she'll be *gasp* 15 at cruise time) and ds Nick (he'll be 12 3/4 at cruise time--that 3/4 is important!)

The 06 and 07 cruises were in October. 05 was in early September (over Labor Day) and 08 was late September.

It is hurricane season so you always have the threat of storms. This year we had beautiful weather. Only a slight sprinkle on our second morning at CC. In 05 we also had great weather on the cruise but it was rainy at WDW before and after the cruise and we got diverted from Port Canaveral to Ft. Lauderdale due to Hurricane Ophelia. Disney took good care of us and had buses waiting to take us back to Port Canaveral (or WDW or the airport).

I've also had the wonderful experience of sailing with Karen and her family on the 2004 10 day cruise, the 2006 first Double Dip cruise (which we called the Double Scoop) and an April 2008 Eastern cruise.

On the 2008 Member Cruise anyone who added on a certain number of points (was it 270?) got a Cat 6 room for 2 people on this years cruise. A number of the cruisers did this. They are the ones who have the color signature already instead of those of us with the black and white one saying we're calling.

Hopefully by Sunday morning we'll all be booked and ready to start planning for this great cruise!

I though I would jump in and say hi to everybody. I can't believe it but Nancy has been doing more posting than me. Mary remember last year she might get on every so often. What a change. Just like the weather in Maine.
