Good morning everyone - happy Thursday!

Welcome back Robbie! Sounds like you had a fun weekend.

We have linked dining with fellow cruisers on all of our cruises since 2004. In my opinion it really makes a difference. On our 2003 Member Cruise we sat with 3 other couples we didn't know. They were all nice and we had a good time but we really didn't click with any of them. Then in 2004 for our 10 day cruise we linked with other DISers. We had a blast. We had all been writing on the cruise meets thread since Summer of '03 so we got to know each other and it really helped with the dinner conversation. It was more catching up with friends and what they did that day instead of making conversation with strangers. I think on that cruise we had about 5 tables linked together and all in the same area. Some were tables of 4 that just held one table with others were bigger and held a mix of DISers. Since then we have always linked. In 2006 on the Member Cruise we had so many DISers linked that we took over one whole side of the restaurants. I highly recommend it!

I just got back from Wal Mart and they are opening Thanksgiving night at 12:00AM. The special won’t be till 5:00Am. I wonder if all of them are like this. I guess they are trying to make it less of a Zoo.

We always avoid Wal Mart the day after Thanksgiving. This might just make it worse. People will go in at midnight and fill their cart with stuff that will be on sale at five.

Hi everyone! How is everyone doing? I just finished renewing our AP's. They expire next month. Sadly we don't have a December trip planned this year but we will be using them next May and next September.

Love that DVC discount!

We always avoid Wal Mart the day after Thanksgiving. This might just make it worse. People will go in at midnight and fill their cart with stuff that will be on sale at five.

That is what I was thinking to. When my son was little I used to go out but now. If we go out after Thanksgiving it is not till later in the afternoon. In the morning it is like a zoo and some people are not nice.

Hi everyone! I got back last night from my long weekend in WDW. We had an awesome time! My sister and her kids really liked AKV. It was great opening the door to the room for the first time and seeing them running around checking every thing out.

Has anyone received any documentation on their reservation yet? The CM told me that stuff would be sent out via UPS but nothing yet here.

Ralph, in case you've never worked with your signature before, here's the full instructions I posted back on booking day. I've also added them to the first post.

Highlight the following line, right click and select copy:

We've gotten the paperwork for our before and after stays, but nothing for the cruise itself. DCL doesn't send out documentation until about a month before the cruise, and DVC does send something but I don't think we got it as quickly.

Being only an hour from WDW, any DVC mail that's sent from Celebration we usually get the next day. The meter date on this one is 11/11, so I know they didn't get in to the mail system until yesterday.

Back from our Disney trip. Boy, it's a lot different when you live next door to Disney. We spent a lot less time at the parks and a lot more time just relaxing by the pool! We can go to the parks anytime! The kids had fun at SSR's main pool and at the one in the Grandstand loop! That one is more of a whole water play area than a pool!

I'd say it's "back to real life" but the kids are going to play hooky from school one more day and go to Universal with Mike and Mike's brother Marc tomorrow.

Our old neighbors are going to be in FL this weekend and they are staying at our house Sunday, so I'll get this place straightened up in preparation of that visit.

Or I'll enjoy the peace and quiet and keep reading Twilight and plan to apologize when nothing in the house is clean! HA!
