09/13/09 SSMC09 S.S. Member Cruise 2009 - Part 4!

Greetings all! The longest part of the trip is over. Started at 4 am (Central) this morning and got to the hotel at 8 pm (Eastern) tonight.

Had some fog in iL and some rain in TN but it is all good.

Tomorrow we'll leave early (but not as early as this morning) and should be at Boardwalk between noon or 1 I would guess. Looking forward to a nice dinner in Epcot. Saturday we are meeting friends for lunch, then the DIS meet, and dinner with our good friends the Patricks.

Congrats to all the and winners.

Safe travels for everyone leaving tomorrow.

I may have a chance to check in tomorrow morning and do the countdown and then later from Boardwalk.

Good Evening to those that are still out there. Just got home a little while ago and got caught up on the posts of today.

Mary - glad your trip so far has been good. Have fun with your friends at EPCOT.

Dave - you still have time to pack. You don't leave till sometime tomorrow right? Piece of cake. As for the kids, my youngest is saying "I don't want you to go", with those sad puppy dog eyes and stuff. I just give her a hug and say I know.

For those who are travelling tomorrow, here's wishing you safe travels. And we will see you on Sunday.

I haven't heard of any other yet, but I'm sure they all will by next year.
It does cost $13 a day, not all that bad.

Ray-Thats not too bad, it would make the time pass by quicker.

just finished packing, got my AKL label on the suitcase, and now it's just a quick day at work and a sleepless nite. Then we are otta here.

Just an update about the youngest's volleyball games tonight. They played a total of 8 games. The squad she was on won two and lost one. Altogether her team won four and the other school won four. She played really well tonight. It was fun.

Then my parents made supper for us and it was soooooooo good. Smoked pork loin, potato salad, fried green beans, tomato. Yummmmmmo! It was so nice to not cook tonight.

Can't wait for tomorrow. Last day of work before vacation! Yippeee.

Bet it was a little easy to catch up today. Not as may pages since some of us are there already.

Man, I went to the chiropractor today and boy did he work me over. I was having problems right between my shoulder blades. It felt better earlier today but now it is getting tight again. Probably from being on the computer too much! Oh, and stress he said.

Hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight now.

Yep, no more cooking for this mom. DH doesn't know it yet, but I ain't cooking no more till we get back from vacation. He is on his own tomorrow night! Because I'm going to a football game!

Flight went well today- no catastrophic meltdowns of little ones on the plane. Had dinner at TRex. It was good but I like the food selection a bit more at rainforest. We walked around a bit and then went back to the hilton to put the kids to bed. My dh is with them and I'm all alone here!! Its pretty nice!! I'm waiting for my little bro to show up here.
