Ahhhhhh a cruise in January, how wonderful. When are you leaving for your trip? How long is your cruise? Where are you going? So many questions, so little time. . . . :rotfl2:

I know we will be arriving very late on the 22nd and are staying at SSR. You are at BLT and leaving on Saturday for the cruise right? Too bad we wouldn't be able to hook up to say a quick hello, but I don't think our paths will be crossing this trip.

You and Michael have a wonderful trip and be sure to tell us about it when you get back! :flower3:

Hi all :wave2:!! Just wanted to jump on and catch up.

Favorite season is a toss up between Spring and Fall - I am with Marsha - I don't do too hot I like snow but not ice. I Love the blooming in spring but the leaves in fall are just as beautiful - we are mountain folk!!

Have a good day all!!!

BTW- this is the first day above freezing for us - :cool1:- Hi of 42!!!

This is an easy one for me. As a teacher can you guess what is my favorite season??????????

Of course it is Summer whether it is hot or cold or rainy. Time to be home with "my" kids. Disney in June/July and Ocean City in late July sitting on the beach eating crabs and riding the waves!!!!

GO COLTS!!! Not a Ravens fan! My Bengals lost :mad:so gonna root for my buddy who is the assistant Athletic Trainer for the COLTS.

Also thanks for the info on the luggage. I thought it would go from airport to ship like magical express. Don't want it getting lost. Of course my wife would love to shop for clothes at WDW and the cruise.:rolleyes1

Have a great day!!

Hello Everyone...

Hope you're having a great day. The sun is out and we're having a heat wave...it's 38 degrees.

hey all, what a week! Birthdays, anniversaries, and a new job and can we get some rain here in California I'm sooooooo tired of 78 degrees in January

Hi CastMember 02....I will gladly trade your 78 degrees for my 38 degrees.

Hi Chris....We leave a week Friday for Orlando. Will be at the BLT around lunch time. Then going over to the parks. Saturday on the Magic for a Western 7 day. Can't wait. I'm sorry too that we won't be able to see each other. Hope you and Bob have a great time at WDW. Look at it this way....we will see each other again in September!!!!!

Since a lot of us are experiencing the best of what winter has to offer, the question of the week arose out of our recent discussions. It should be easy enough to answer since there are only 4 choices.

1. What is your favorite season and why?

My favorite season is actually a tie between fall and winter. Both contain my two favorite holidays, Halloween and Christmas. I love the fall because it is a relief from the stifling heat, sweat, humidity, rainy afternoons and mosquitoes the size of pteradactyls that south Florida summers bring. Summer here lasts from late April to late October as far as weather goes usually. I love the winter because I know there will be a few cold days when I get to wear long sleeves and a jacket at least in the morning and evening. Naturally, I enjoy the continued relief from the hot weather and insects that should have gone extinct by the end of the Cretaceous Period.

Terrie :)

Hi everyone! My favorite season is Summer. I love sitting outside on the deck in the morning eating my breakfast. I love sitting outside on the deck in the evening listening to the birds and all the Summertime sounds. I love being in the sun. I think Fall is beautiful, but it's depressing because Winter is coming and Spring is hopeful with everything blooming, but it's messy with the muddy yards. The only thing I like about Winter is Christmas and the first snow. I also like a white Christmas, but other than that, I hate the cold and I don't like the snow. :-)

Well, have a great time! And yes, we will see each other in September again. Such a nice habit to have! :rotfl:

Ha ha. Tired of 78. I'd love something above freezing. Wisconsin has been really cold lately. Nothing like a foot of snow after an ice storm. But I'm really glad wayne talked me into going to the bahamas next month. I will atleast get a break from the cold and freezing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTINE!!!
(DW of GrumpyFireman)
:bday::bday::bday:

Good morning and Happy Birthday to Kristine :bday: and Happy Saturday to everyone else :jumping1: The weather has warmed up again we are at 79º today :cool2: put away the warm socks and I'm back in flip flops. I am doing the happy dance :dancer: because the new furniture just arrived this morning  Tonight I am looking forward to a frutiy martini concoction and electrically reclining in the new sectional immersed in the smell of new leather...sigh

Terrie:)

Happy Belated Birthday Kristine! Hope it was a good one.

Hope this finds everyone doing well. Terrie sounds like you had a fun and relaxing evening last night. Me and my DH watched Marley and Me. Oh, wow, I knew it was a tear jerker but had no idea that it was that bad. We both just hugged our dog after the movie. Because I hate to say it, but we have been in that family's position before.

Today is a day for more laundry and some cleaning. Going to make baked potato soup for supper tonight and getting ready to go to WDW next Friday. It is just a quick getaway for me and DH. The kids are staying home.

Have a great Sunday everyone! :flower3:

Good Morning! Yesterday was a beautiful day. It was in the 50s. Today it is raining but at least it is not snowing. No big plans here. Since we did not go grocery shopping yesterday, we will do that today after church and I will finish the :laundy:. Have a good day.

Good morning everybody!

Oh Chris, Marley and Me had DH and I both bawling in the movie theater! The mere thought of losing Disney (pictured in my signature) one day who is 10 years old is not something I can contemplate without feeling my heart begin to break. I love all my others, but he is my heart and soul and a once in a lifetime dog. I hope he follows in his daddy's footsteps who lived to be 15 years old. I thank my blessings everyday he is still with us.

Terrie :)

Good Morning all!!!

First - we have not seen Marley & Me yet because I cry at everything :sad2:and although I WANT to see it I haven't got the courage up yet. Our first baby is a welsh corgi/jack russell mix who will be 9 on April 4th. We have been through him eating a light bulb:eek: as a pup clear to recent herniated disks - I can't even bear to think of our life without him!!:lovestruc

Today we have POURING down rain!!! We have a big day here. Today is my DDad's bday so I am making brunch for 12....and then some friends of ours who live near Harrisburg are home and we are having a mini get together so I am making dinner for 8 adults and 4 kids!!:scared1: I LOVE to cook but my patience is being tested as my almost 3 year old has turned into some sort of monster:scared1:!!! This kid was the BEST child you could ask for until about a month ago and now we are full force CRAZY!! Did I mention she is a red head?!? (The real kind not MY kind!!;)) We had to leave church last night becuase she was jumping up and down on the pew and when I told her to stop in her loud voice she says "I JUMPING!" Out we went.....home to sit in the time out chair.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Hello Everyone....:) Hope you're having a great Sunday. It is pouring rain here and 42 degrees. I don't mind....it's not snow.

Happy Belated Birthday Kristine! Hope it was a good one.

Hi Chris....please share your recipe for Baked Potato Soup. It sounds really good.
I haven't seen Marley and Me...I too know it's a tear jerker. We have a German Shepherd who is 11 years old...I try not to think about losing him. I'm just so grateful that he is still here with us. His name is Brando and we just love him so much.

I can't believe how time is flying...we cruise together in 34 weeks. How exciting.

:cake::bday::cake::bday:

A belated Happy Birthday Kristine

Best wishes to you and hope that you had a great day.

Wow, 34 weeks, hmmm better get planning, so much to do, so little time to do it in.....lol. But I have started thinking about certain things we want to bring, gonna make a list for that, maybe organize a tub so it is already done and I can toss things in there as we go along.
