Wow you all have been chatty this afternoon. ;)

Sorry to have missed the party but we had a pool full of people and then I had to run one of Brooke's friends home that had spent the night last night. Gosh I can't wait for the five weeks to be up. I can just feel being on that ship right now. :cloud9:

Oh, the dreaded flask. I have a funny story about a flask. Last year for the members cruise DH had packed a flask in my suitcase. It is white plastic and you can see the color of bourbon in it. It was also inside of a baggie. No, problem we have done this lots of times before. Well, we check everything and go through security and are walking around when they start calling my name over the intercom telling me to come back to the check in counter or to go to my departure gate. I'm thinking OMG :scared1: what is wrong. I'm looking through my purse and I have all my id's and stuff, what could be wrong? :confused3 Since we didn't want to go back out through security again we went to our gate. I told them who I was and what was wrong. The agent put me on the phone with the ticket counter person and she said that there was a white bottle in my suitcase with no label and they needed to verify what was in it. OMG, I started laughing my butt off. I said that it was Jim Beam, and the agents standing there said good, bring it to them cuz they sure could use it. It had been a rough morning for them. The agent I was talking to said that that is what they thought it was and just needed to verify. I told them all they had to do was open it and smell it and you could tell it was Whiskey. :) So after a good scare for me, and a good laugh for everyone around who heard the conversation, all was well. And the flask was in the suitcase when we got to Orlando! :goodvibes

good story, good to here we can take one or two on board...

thanks Chris,,

oh by the way Hi Chris

Do you think that they will ever close down this thread? :confused3 It sure would be nice to only have one thread to watch now.

I did something really silly earlier today. I tried to order a new swimsuit on line. Of course it was hard to find something in my size. Little on top, big on bottom ;). But I tried. Hopefully it will fit. But I'm not holding my breath because nothing fits me. We will find out in 5-7 days. :rotfl:

Ok, so here is a lagit question, we can bring alcohol on board, so can it be in a flask, or just a bottle?????

I am not sure about flasks.

From DCL website:
Alcohol is permitted on board. However, be aware that any fragile items (including bottled alcohol) must be hand-carried on board in a day bag and/or carry-on bag, the dimensions of which cannot exceed 22" wide, 14" high and 9" deep. Guests who request a Wine Steward to open and serve a bottle of champagne, wine or liquor that has been brought onboard will be charged a corking fee of $18.00 per bottle.

Please be advised: Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to remove fragile items (including beverages) from luggage. In such cases, items will be stored and returned at the end of the voyage. Beverage containers are considered fragile and have previously caused damage in checked luggage. All fragile items must be transported inside carry-on luggage.

Thanks Marsha, I was going to pack to medium size flasks labbled in a plastic bags in my carry on,

If they take it I am not out a whole bottle, and eazier to get on and off...

Thanks. I used to do the one piece but can't no more. The bottom and top just don't work together in a one piece. Plus I like a skirt type bottom.

I'm short too (5 feet tall) and not exactly in the running for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition :rotfl2: Despite that, I still like 2 piece suits and always have hard time

Thanks Terrie. I hope so too. Especially since the new top I got this spring broke and DH said you are not wearing that on the cruise with a bobby pin in it are you? :rotfl2: I said no. I won't take that one with it is just for home. :rotfl:

Banana rum? That sounds tasty. What do you mix it with? I'll trade you an Italian Margarita for a Banana something
