We can have wristbands for $1.65 or key chains for $1.75. The company will turn all (100 or more) wristbands into key chains.

I am in for the wrist band or key chain. Again what ever the group wants. Are we even close to 100? I guess if we didn't get to 100 we could sell them onboard to those who don't know about the DIS boards. Maybe we could write the address down and enlighten a few people. I wish someone had done that for me four years ago.

Hey I am willing to help organize the Jammie breakfast. But I need a Co organizer. If we were to do it on Castway day it would need to be early as I plan to do the first String Ray excursion.

I have heard that we can link our dining. Does any one know what is needed to do that? Is anyone interested?

After my breakfast it is off to the office to get some work done and then to a square dance this evening. Should be productive and a blast. Bet you can't tell wehich word is intended for which activity. My best to all, Lois

We are in for the lei, wristbands, keychains whatever you all decide on. (4 of us) We won't be at the Hyatt though so will have to meet up on board or the terminal. You guys are great organizers! Since we are coming from Canada we will have to pay our share when we meet up.

Whoa! Lots of activity since I posted yesterday morning!

Lois, can you post the full list of DISers again? Or if there is an updated list somewhere point me to it! The page 1 list seems incomplete and not updated.

LEIS & WRISTBANDS:
I am thinking that instead of individual counts for wristbands and leis that we should just assume that every DISer on this list wants one, and use that number as a base count to order. I would hate not to order enough and have someone be left out because they haven't posted in a while. If we have extras we can sell them or give them away, I would pay a few extra dollars for the extras just to make sure we are all covered.

DISTRIBUTION:
As for organization and distribution why don't we decide on a split? Since some of us will be at Hyatt the day before the cruise and some of us will be convening at WDW, let's make sure one Hyatt person orders some and one WDW person orders some and we can distribute from both locations! Just make sure we all order the same lei! Are we CONFIRMED on the multicolor leis from Oriental Trading? Here's the link again:

GENERAL ORGANIZATION:

Perhaps for the sake of organization we should post a TASK list. Meaning who's doing what so we don't duplicate labor. Can this be done on the first page? Or whatever the coordinating post is for all of us?

Example:

Update DIS attendee list and coordinate activities: Grandma4Ever

Create green mickey heads for leis or luggage: Stina

etc....

I'm kind of an organization freak, and this invdividual posting (which gets read on a delay) makes it hard for us as a group to coordinate what we are doing. I think having ONE post, updated by ONE person that lists:

1. Up-to-date DISer list include all spouses, kids and relatives in attendance

2. Pre-Cruise Meets date/time/place (Hyatt, Meet n Greet WDW etc)

3. Planned DIS Activities On-Board including first on-board DISmeet, PJ party, etc. Include date/time/place. If not known put TBA and we can fill it in as we get closer to Sept.

4. Identifier Items: Leis and wristbands/keychains and price

5. TASK list: list of who's doing what to make all this glorious stuff happen!

I really feel having all this info in ONE place including all the TASKS we need to do to make all this happen will really help us. We just need one person to coordinate that post... Nacho perhaps? Because Nacho posted the original #1 post it makes sense. What say you?

I got this one! It's at the end of Calle 11 along the water, south of the pier where the Magic docks. As you exit the pier at the security checkpoint, you would turn right and head away from the shops and the town center. Read somewhere that it was about 300 yards south of that point. Definitely within walking distance it would seem.

I'll see if I can post a pic of the wristbands and keychain.
All the company does for the keychain is slip a split ring on and add a spacer. IMHO I think we could order all keychians($1.75) and people can order a few more and remove the ring and spacer to make the wristband.The price between wristband and keychain is only 10 cents.
Does that make sence?

OK I hope everyone is in planning mode. Tinkerbelltris and I are attempting to plan and schedule a Jammie breakfast. She suggested Friday because that way it will not interfer with anyones Character breakfast. I am thinking early about 7:30 AM ( yes in the morning) so we can get done and hit the beach. I would like to be off the ship by 9 or 9:30. I want to have one of the first Stingray adventures.

However it is not just the two of us so we need to hear from everyone else.
1) Do you want to attend?
2) When (Day and Time) would you like it to be?
3) If you want to attend, how many would be in attendance?

We need at least the answers to these questions before we can arrange anything with DCL. We will go with the date and time that the most people can attend. Welcome back!! Be sure to go back and read the last few pages. We are beginning to plan.

Someone brought up the fact that by Friday they would be too wore out to get up early for Breakfast. I thought I would throw another option out there. What if we got together on Monday for Lunch that would allow us to get to know each other earlier in the cruise. We could talk and share stories with each other. Then if we wanted we could still have the Jammie Breakfast on Friday (No character breakfasts to mess up) for those who will be up and going early that final morning.

Once again let me know and TinkerbellTris and I will work it out somehow. She would like a primary count with in the next week, if possible. Looking forward to it. Lois
