Hey guys,

How are you all? I just thought I'd pop in and say hi. Things have not been too great here since we got home unfortunately but thinking about what a wonderful trip I had and all the great friends I made cheers me up :goodvibes
I hope you are all really well and hope to catch up soon. Keen to hear what's new with everyone and what they're next travel plans are.:surfweb:

Anyway, take care everyone:grouphug:

Good to hear from you. Sorry to hear things aren't great. :sad2: When we got home I went from a jet-lag to a cold to just yucky. I think it was withdraws from endless fun and food on the Magic.

We're thinking about taking the Wonder up the West Coast (Repo LA-Vancouver 5-day 4/27/2011) or Inaugural Alaska (7-day, 5/2/2011). We are also very interested in the inaugural trip on the Dream. We're waiting to hear when that is - Jan or Feb 2011?? I have the 10/29 webcast blocked out on my Outlook calendar at work :woohoo:

Well after the post vacaton sickness (always happens with us) It is back to work. I am working everyday from 1800 (6:00 pm) to 0600 (6:00 am) 7 days a week until sometime in mid Nov. (hopefully getting turkey day off, or more importantly Black Friday off).

We are planning our annual Mickey's very merry christmas party trip for dec and a large group trip with Chris' family (idrivealumina) for next summer.

I have been so busy with life I have failed to send out the cds to everyone I promised to burn them for.

Wish we could be at WDW to celebrate Christmas with you-all. :santa:

Fantastic! You guys will have an awesome time, wish I could join you but know your aussie friends are thinking of you all:goodvibes

I won't get over there until September now. I'm guessing you guys don't have any trips in late Sept/early Oct in the plans?? hahahaha:rotfl:
Anyway, if anyone is thinking of going at that time I would love to catch up.

Where "here" will you be in Sept/Oct? :boat:

I wanna cruise again. We make many trips to the World. I think we have 4 or 5 for the next 6-8 months.

Some short some very long. Now if i can just figure another way to get a cruise to fit into the schedule and budget. :rotfl2:

How did you pick All Star Music? We had a great time at All Star Movie. We've stayed there twice - once was during Hurricane Francis :scared1:

This year we spent the 3 pre-cruise nights at Animal Kingdom Jambo House. It was awesome. I used some of our points for two nights and rented some from a person here on the DIS for the other night. I got our Thursday night for $88 (no tax). Cash it would have been about a $200+ tax !! Gotta love the DIS :lovestruc

Thought I'd share Disney's 2010 FREE PARK TICKET promo ....

BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2010, when you sign up to volunteer a day of service with a participating organization (and your service is completed and verified) you'll get one day admission to a Walt Disney World® or Disneyland®theme park, FREE! :cool1:

http://www.GiveADayGetADisneyDay.com

FREE Tickets...count us in. The three of us volunteer at something in the community nearly every month. Yes kids too...Ages 6 and up can earn tickets

I just looked at the reviews here on the DIS to make my mind up which resort, and of course looked at the site and the info link too. There wasn't too much difference that I could tell by the look of things. I'm glad to hear you had a great time:thumbsup2 I'm sure it won't matter where we are staying, we will be at WDW again and that's all that counts:cloud9:
Wow, thats awesome rates for renting! Maybe I should have looked into that:confused3 I'm thinking about extending our stay anyway from 7 to 10 nights if I can get away with it. Never get to see everything in one trip, but the extra 3 days will mean we may actually get to a water park this time:rotfl2:

We actually have excess points we're looking to rent out but I didn't post here on the rental board because I'm hesitant about trusting a stranger. That said, if you let me know your dates I'll pm you back with the cost. It may be worthwhile. :confused3

Hey Irene, wow I would love to catch up with you guys if you plan to be there. I'll PM you about the excess points, I'm not really sure how it all works so you'll have to explain it to me I'm afraid. Thanks so much for the offer:hug:

I'm looking at the 5 night double dip on August 16 2011(I think it is haha). My way of thinking is that if I booked that in and then stayed at WDW after I might just also get free dining :thumbsup2

I can't wait to hear what the prices are. I've been reading the DIS thread about today's webcast. The Platinum and Gold Castaway Club members get to book on Nov 2. There will be a DIS thread posting prices as people get quotes as there was for the release of the Wonder's West Coast cruises. That gives the rest of us a week to guess what will be left and for how much (the prices went up as the week went by). We may stick with the Wonder...hard to tell 'til we get prices and DVC point charts. :confused3

I missed the webcast today. I plan to watch it tomorrow. It's supposted to be posted at 9 am.

So what time is it there? It's 9:35 pm here in Oregon. :surfweb:
