Fortunately, at least in my town, municipal employees still get this day off.

Beth

Since I'm in NATO, I don't get US holidays- I've probably complained about that on every holiday since I started posting on this thread! :lmao:

DD on the other hand comes home on the 5th, and then has a 4 day weekend! (They have a teacher in-service day on the 9th.) She arrives from the States the morning of the 5th, but I'm going to take her to school, at least for a few hours so she can get her homework and assignments before the weekend.

At last check there are openings for Brunch and Dinner but only for tables of 3-4.

That's part of the fun for me too. We may only be cruising for 7 days, but we're getting all this DIS fun for months!:woohoo:

Don't you and Jennifer need to update your signature line????

:goodvibes Thank you for the reminder. princess: Yes, our princess is growing up! :scared:

Amber,
Even though the cruise is for DD, you will love every minute. Since your DH is all about the seafood, I suggest asking about the seafood offerings when you get onboard. When the headwaiter comes around the 1st night you can ask him when and where are the best opportunities for seafood throughout the cruise. I'm the opposite of your DH when it comes to fish, so I can't help with specifics, but I know there are some seafood buffets and such during the cruise.

And as far as your DD is concerned, don't miss Celebrate the Journey on the last sea day! My DD's done it 3 times, and I've had tears in my eyes every time!
Emily has her Mickey Graduation ears proudly displayed in her room and wears the t-shirt at least every other week! She was on the screen in the montage at least five times during the ceremony. She was always smiling with the other kids in the pictures making lots of friends. As soon as she meets a new child, they are automatically her new friend. It is really sweet.

:cool1: Congratulations on your growing business. My sister in-law hasn't said much lately on her business. But, I assume she is still doing it. I am sure with the holidays fast approaching, you'll be even busier and need the rest and relaxation of the cruise. :beach:

Except right now I am drinking a caffeine-free Diet Coke. So, I should have used this smiley (but I feel like the other one) . . . :drinking1

I hear ya! What day was Emily's Birthday? Jasmine's is the 21st. I was not at all disapppointed that her Dad had her for her birthday. :thumbsup2
We talked via webcam on Friday while she did the crossword puzzle I made that gave her the clues to her present. When I showed her the laptop over the camera, she said "oh that's nice." But then when I showed her the High School Musical 2 graphic with her name on it, that I'd used for the desktop background she was jumping up and down!

I told her Dad, "I guess we could've saved $900" :rotfl2: :rotfl:
Children are funny like that. Just like on Christmas morning, Cole was having more fun with the wrapping paper and empty boxes. I am glad you were able to see her on her birthday. The crossword puzzle was very creative. :thumbsup2

We too will be at WDW one of the Mondays. And Monday Oct 8 is a holiday for me! Columbus Day, I think only Federal employees still get that one. We are taking that whole week off. We want to take the motorhome to the coast for a couple of nights to celebrate our 40th anniversary on Oct 6, then we have to spend the rest of the week painting and patching the house so we can get it listed for sale.
Did you every hear back about your upgrade or are you still staying at the Villas at WL?

I golfed 18 holes today at a beautiful course. And I'm doing it again next Monday ;)

Got online last night, and was able to book one Palo dinner for Wednesday evening (which is also Cindy's birthday), and a Rasul treatment for Cindy and I on Monday just before lunch. There were no Brunch's open.
 Bill loves golf too. I know he wishes he could play more often. Then again, every golfer wishes they could play more often. We live in a golf course community. We are social members of the country club with our homeowner's dues. But, recently they offered us a golf membership. However, it couldn't have come at a worse time. This Fall is so crazy, Bill wouldn't be able to get in enough golf to justify the monthly expense. Hopefully, they will offer it again next year.

I am glad we made our Palo reservations when we did. I didn't think the Brunch would book up so quickly. :scared1:

Are we not allowed to post other websites on here anymore as links? I was having difficulties adding a link to my last post and just decided to post the picture instead.

What the heck are you doing up so late? I figured all you stateside people were tucked in and snoozing by now. :goodvibes

Yes, they grow up WAY too fast!!
I can't sleep! Everyone is safely tucked in bed, but ME!

I've been trying to get caught up on all the posts. I am not on for a day and I missed a lot. Y'all sure have been busy!
