Welcome back Jennifer! :hippie:

Are you packed Stacy?

Amber, I'm not sure if we'll be tendering in St Thomas. I think sometimes it depends upon who gets there first, as they need to fit all the ships in.

Sounds like you had a good time at WDW Brack, I guess there was never any doubt of that!

I'm in Germany at Landstuhl Regional Hospital right now. A friend of mine is having outpatient surgery, and so the military has paid me to come along and make sure she gets home okay.

For us a trip to the Kaiserslautern area is one big shopping trip. We drove here yesterday and hit the BX big time after she did her pre-op stuff. My Chrysler Pacifica is packed full right now, and we haven't even hit the commissary! :cool1:

We made the "mistake" of buying the kids lanyards and pins on our last WDW trip. Now, they can't wait to go back and get more! We told them they could each pick out two pins. So, at least they have a limit. Bill and I don't have any pins yet. But, we did buy a DCL lanyard last time. So, we may have to start trading pins too.

I ignored the whole autograph and pin thing as long as I could. But then when Jasmine was 4 she pointed out an autograph book in one of the stores and told me she needed that so she could have the characters sign it. Luckily it didn't take over our priorities as I'd feared.

Then when she was 7 she pointed out the pins in the store, and said that pin trading "sounds fun." So next thing I knew, we'd spent a ton of $ on pins!! And then of course we had to buy the pin collecting backpack for all the pins that she doesn't want to trade. She'll be bringing her lanyard and trading pins onboard. She really has picked up some cute ones that way.

Has anyone been upgraded or visited by the fairy. We are in a Cat 7 and called about a 3. There were some available, but now there are not. We expect it might change after final payment is due.

We are thinking of upgrading from a 7 to a 4 at the port if available just for the spot of extra room. It would not make sense for us to go to a 6 or 5 just for a more open verandah.

I was upgraded from a 9 to a 5 on our first cruise. On our 3rd we booked a cat 12 gty and got an 11.

I've heard the upgrade fairy is statistically more inclined to visit 1st time cruisers. My DB is in a Cat 8, and I'd love if he got upgraded to a verandah room!

Jasmine turns 9 on Friday. Her Dad and I bought her a red Dell laptop! Since she's flying home by herself next month, I had the laptop sent to me in Belgium. So technically she won't have a present to open that day.

So to make up for that, I made a crossword puzzle with "clues" as to what her present is. Her Dad's going to give her that and she can work on it over his webcam, so I can watch. Then when she solves the puzzle he's going to give her a flyer I made that has a picture of the red laptop (and matching red mouse and case).

Then on Saturday he's taking her to Carrowinds - her favorite (non-Disney) amusement park. :woohoo:

And this week, I've been sending her pictures of fancy birthday cakes shaped like castles etc. She doesn't like cake anyway, so sending her pictures works just as well as taking the time to bake one! :thumbsup2

Last year, I made cupcakes to take to school for her birthday, later that day. I went upstairs while they were cooling. And the dog ate something like 16 cupcakes (WITH the paper wrappers on!) :lmao: Luckily I'd stocked up on mix - since the commissary is an hour away - and had time to bake another batch.

While waiting for the stores to open this morning (had to get my friend to the hospital at 6:15am!) I decided to consolidate the Secret Mickey info to help us organize our shopping lists. I've also updated the blog.

By the way, if you're wondering why the Secret Mickey list is now at the top of the blog....I have no idea. :confused3

Thanks :thumbsup2

I hope to download my pictures from this trip tonight and post some this week. :surfweb: If I get real adventurous I might even do a trip report. :lmao:

I should have kept reading the posts :surfweb: and then I could have just said, ME TOO!:rotfl2:

Hey Angie :yay:

It looks like we are posting all around each other. It's a shame that we are not closer to a pirate: for a real old fashion run! I am at work though and should be actually working! :confused3

Blessings to you and Dennis.
