I too was able to get all of my resv. this AM. Only hold out is the dolphine adventure because my little grand daughter 1 month too young. The adults are booked, but we need to get her on the observer only excursion but I didn't see it available. Where do I do this? Does anyone know? Thanks:goodvibes

It shows up as the first excursion in the St Maarten list. Sometimes the site won't let you book a child by themselves. I had some wacky things happen to my shore excurions on the last cruise. But I emailed guest services and they got everything straightened out for me.

If you can't get her booked this weekend, I'd contact the concierge services and ask them to assist:

DrHug and I are SO excited about our "find" yesterday! We saw a Disney movie called "Night Crossing" way back in the early 80's and have searched for it for a long time. We even checked at the store on Main Street at DL, they looked in their log and found nothing. No one had even heard of it. We thought it is out of print and gone forever. Well, yesterday at our local little Bi-Mart store there it was on DVD! We bought it and watched it again last night. Loved it again! It is based on a true story of two East German families (back in the day of the Wall) who escape to the West in a hot air balloon. Very exciting, good movie.

I remember that movie! Yes, it was a good one:thumbsup2

It makes me excited to finally find someone who has seen it! We usually just get blank stares when we mention it. ;)

Thanks for the welcome! My kids love the Clubs and beg to stay till 1 am last time many nights. This cruise I think we will let them some nights - they think that is so cool. They really like all the activities and the friends they meet. And hey the Micky Ears Graduation Cap is a cool FREE memento to take home as well as the t-shirt.

Look forward to the kids meeting.

Krisann

Welcome Krisann, please meeting you. My second DS is 9, so he's almost the same age as your son. This is our first cruise, but I have a feeling that he will spend a lot of time in the clubs.

Yes, Jasmine loved coming back to the cabin at midnight and ordering room service! We're planning on keeping a "rock star" schedule on this cruise - staying up until all hours and sleeping until noon! Except for Castaway Cay, we may not leave the ship!

We were on the Western in Feb/Mar 06 just before you were. Did you also do Costa Maya instead of Cozumel?

I'm jealous of you doing the WB repo next spring. I've never been through the Panama Canal. But when I do, it'll be on DCL! Plus with the WB you get to keep turning your clock BACK an hour rather than forward:thumbsup2

Glad to see I am not the only one who stays up late and sleeps in! Most moringings we miss breakfast! Had not thought of ordering room service when they come back! We never left the ship last time except for CC - we really enjoyed the quiteness of the ship.

We had such a magical time on that one BUT we booked it like a month before we left and paid heavily for it. So now we are doing ones that are cheaper. Our Repo cruise is almost the same price we paid last April for the same category rooms.

No we were the first cruise back to Cozumel if I remember correctly. It was a big question before the cruise.

I am really excited about it! We are in category 10's on both cruises (Dec and Repo) but that is what we decided to give up just to be on the cruises. We had a porthole last cruise so we will see how we do without a window in Dec. and be prepared for May.

I am getting so excited!!! Our shirts came this week - I am thinking of using the emboridery machine to put our names between the Micky ears or something like that or I may applique our names on the back.

The kids are excited we all have matching shirts. We plan on wearing them onto the ship so our on board picture should be really cute! The only problem with ordering them is they are down to xl and plus sizes so my kids are a little big on them but I am going to have them tuck them in and then they are to be used as bathing suit cover-ups the rest of the cruise. We will use them again on the Repo Cruise in May.

I also was ablte to make our reservations - going to try all 3 Palo experiences and made our appointment for the mud fight at the spa. I did not see the couples villa package this time - does anyone know if they have taken that away or was are all of them already booked?

I am so excited about the cruise but I still have a vacation to the Turks and Cacios Islands in 2 weeks for 2 weeks (we get to see hubby there while he is on R and R from Iraq (we seem him every 2-3 months). We have not seen him since June. So I still have to pack for that trip but I am already packing for this cruise!!!

Ok I keep coming up with questions!

I read some posts where people talk about meeting their table mates on the first night - is this common?

Our first cruise we were at a table by ourselves. I would love to be with some other people - especially people with children. How do you arrange this?

We are on the early seating this cruise (wanted to have tried both before locking in for the repo cruise - we already have early on the Repo and it is the hardest to get so I am sure I can swap out if I need to maybe in May)

Has anyone here used Skype with the internet on the cruise? We have gotten skype phones and we used them all over Europe to call home for next to nothing (and free to those who had skype too). Just wondered if you were able to keep the connection going or if it was terrible connection.

The main difference for me is that you sleep SO well in an inside, since it is dark all the time. One thing we did on our last cruise was to leave the bathroom light on, with the door closed. This gave out just enough of a glow to act like a nightlight.

You can request a larger table with your TA. I prefer the Main seating just because the evening seems to flow better if you eat first and then do the evening activities and shows. And when Jasmine was younger, we always had conflicts with her kids club stuff and the late dining times.

Supposedly they've been able to switch us to Main for this cruise, but the website still shows Late. I have an Email in to confirm.

I just love this board system! I am actually jealous that on our upcoming trip to Turks and Cacios islands (we are staying at the Beaches Resort) that I do not have a way to meet people ahead of time that may be there!

Makes my disney vacations a little more special!!!!

JsMom2, I have been reading through some of the older posts and noticed that you read INVISIBLE PREY. I love all his books. I have read them all, he is one of my favorite authors.
:grouphug: for your daughter and all children who have parents serving our country.

MrsMork, I was reading through some older posts and noticed on DrHug posts that you knew each other 1 month when you were married? Congrats on your upcoming 40th!

Our severe weather is over for now. Thursday we had to park our cars four blocks away and walk throught the flooded streets to get home. We were able to go back a few hours later and bring our cars home. No power for 7 hours means no sump pump for 7 hours. Driving home in that storm reminded me of Hurricane Jeanne at WDW. Except hurricanes don't have thunder and lighning. But all is well now.

A five year boy who lives down the street from us was riding his bike yesterday and bumped the turkey fryer and is burned over 70% of his body. The Flight for Life helicopter came and moved him to Loyola Hospital. Very tragic. Just shows how fast a good day becomes a horrible one.
