At least now that I am not posting as much on the EB thread I can spend more time here.

Does anyone plan to decorate their stateroom door? We did last time and plan to do the same again. We were the only ones on our floor with a decorated door, which made it VERY easy to find our stateroom!

We usually put a "few" things on our door.

We do have pirate costumes that we have worn the last couple of cruises and it is great fun if there is a whole group dressed. About 200 of us Dec 2006! The Geeks.

I wish that I read this sooner. I called yesterday to renew our annual passes and it cost me $30 more per pass!

I had signed up for Mousesavers newsletter and email alerts and she sent the info to me on Friday before the rates changed. I'm glad I got us squared away for the next 3 years.

I also called DVC and put us on the wait list for the AKL Savanna View the two days prior to the cruise. Looking for some pixie dust.

We are waitlisted at a couple of places. Our first choice is OKW Grandvilla. We really, really want that. Then we are waitlisted at SSR for Grandvilla and then AKL for 2 bdrm and a studio. I don't know how lucky folks get with being waitlisted. I'll keep hoping for the pixie dust though. We would love to treat my family to the Grandvilla. That would be too cool!

Ok so I told DH I want to decorate the door to look just like a Christmas present and he said "oh god, is it too late to cancel" and rolled his eyes at me.. I said"yup, as a matter of fact it is".. and then left the room..

Gee, I go to bed early one night and two pages of posts appear!

Let's see--

We aren't going to dress for pirate night, since luggage space is at a premium because this will be an 18-day trip for us, and part of it is camping so we'll need some stuff that we don't usually carry. Most of that will stay behind with our son and his family, but it still has to come down with us. We are sending the big stuff down ahead of time, however!

We are going to dress for formal night. Jim is renting a tux and I bought a gown for an event I'm going to next week. It's the perfect "traveling formal wear" since it doesn't ever wrinkle. It's been crunched up in a plastic bag in my closet since the day I bought it, and it looks like it was just pressed!

We will put our door sign on our door, but not much else.

We are definitely at the AKL for the two nights before the cruise. I must have gotten my reservation just in time.

I wasn't planning on paying off the cruise until the last minute since I like getting that little bit of extra interest on the money in the bank, but Jim asked last night how soon we can make our Palo reservations. So I'll pay it off just in time to make reservations!

Brack: Your likeness to Mr. Gibbs is amazing! He's one of my favorite characters in that movie series. Perhaps by the time we cruise I will have seen Pirates 3. We don't go to the movies very often since Jim falls asleep as soon as they turn off the lights. That wouldn't be so bad, but he snores and talks in his sleep and disturbs the people around us. We just wait for Pay Per View, HBO or DVD!

I have cable internet at home and at the office, however, next week while I'm away I will probably be reduced to using AOL on dialup! Oh well, I'll be extremely busy and won't have much time for the computer anyway. I'll have to do all of my catching up when I get home on Sunday night. Maybe I'll take Monday off and stay home and DIS!

DGS, Aaron, is right now getting on the plane in LA to come spend 5 days camping with us! I got a Pirtate sleeping bag for him at the Disney store clearance and Grandpa is getting a BMX bike for him at Costco (where he is working) today. Nothing like a little spoilin' at Grandma and Grandpas. We are very excited to see him again. It has been since DL in May and we miss him a BUNCH! He is excited that he gets to see the other GKs now too.

ok so I thought up a Legit post this time..

I was wondering.. since DH and I are alone for this cruise.. Would anyone like to share a Dis Friendly table with us for Dinner?? We don't mind children, if we did, we wouldnt be on a Disney cruise..

I just thought it would be a really neat idea to get some Dis tables together..

We will be doing Palo's one of the nights.. Oh and Breakfast we generally do the Buffet upstairs.. We also do Pool side lunch so this would be just for Dinners...


Anyone??


Besides... what better way to gossip about the "other" passangers then with your Dis family..

I found a cheap internet cafe here in Tenerife. It´s a beautiful island. Too bad the Magic isn´t stopping here until after we leave. Well actually maybe its a good thing, as I´d probably try to sneak aboard.
