17 More Mondays:cool1:

And a pirate: for me for posting #1200, since we are so quiet. How about 2 Pirates for #1500 and 5 Pirates for #2000???

:woohoo:  16 more Mondays for us because we are spending the week before the cruise at WDW. :dance3:

Congrat on the pirate: I'm up for multiple pirate: rewards! :rotfl: :lmao:

Hey, everyone :wave2: Just checking in. Love the countdown, it's much better than months! My family and I went this past Saturday to the PO to apply for our passports. The whole process was very smooth. No waiting and we were out in 20 minutes. The man helping us was great, very patient and helpful. :thumbsup2 Well, back to work...:surfweb:

I just wanted to let y'all know that my family met Angela's (cinderllyintx) family this past weekend. We had a great time getting to know them and can't wait to cruise with them (and everyone on here) in December! :goodvibes - Jennifer

We'll be at WDW the Monday before we cruise, too, as well as the Monday after! Out of those 16 Mondays, my office is closed for three of them, and I will be away on a business trip for another one, so that means I only have 12 more Mondays in my office! I guess I should start counting how many paydays are left--that's really the important number!

We'll be at WDW the week before the cruise too. We'll need the cruise to relax after being on the go with the kids all week. We plan to spend "some" time with the kids on the cruise. But, have some "adult time" planned too. I am sure they will need a break from us too. :dance3: I am looking forward to the Palo Brunch. Were we able to get the "secret room"? Just curious. - Jennifer

Yes, I like doing WDW the week prior also. By the end of the week Jasmine and I are sick of each other, and then we can each do our own thing on the cruise! We'll only be spending a couple nights there this time, as I've been using up sooo much leave over here in Europe! This trip, we'll just kick back at POR and do Downtown Disney - we'll finally get a chance to do Disney Quest!

We're only 3 hours from Disneyland Paris though, so we'll be heading down there for a weekend one of these days....

Anyway, regarding the secret room at Palo...I have the request in via my TA who is one of the Disney specialists. And then DCL reviews the requests 30 days prior. When my TA contacted them to update the stateroom numbers for my DSis and me, she was told that the request was in early enough that it "shouldn't be a problem."

So in the meantime, feel free to book Palo reservations online when they open up. (I've requested the 2nd day at sea for our brunch.) And I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.

Must get to bed, I've got to get up early to fly to Tenerife. Have a good week everyone!

Yes, the pay days countdown is very important. Our cruise is already paid off and one night of the hotel. But, we still have to pay for the rest of the resort stay and everything else at WDW, on the cruise and our trip to and from TX to FL. It can add up!:scared1:

We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge, but we'll be down "your way" at the Ft. Wilderness Campgrounds on Friday, December 7th. I made an ADR at the Trail's End for dinner. After dinner, we plan to attend the campfire (weather permitting) and have some fun. Maybe, we'll see you and your family around? :goodvibes - Jennifer

We are also booked at Wilderness Lodge. We are waitlisted for AKL and OKW, but I don't know how hopeful to be.

TXTaylors5: On the night that you'll be at Fort Wilderness, we will be having dinner at Marrakesh in Epcot and then attending the Candlelight Processional. We will already have moved to the AKL the day before (Thurs), taking our granddaughter with us to give her mom and dad some "romantic alone time" as she says. I'm not sure my idea of "romantic alone time" has anything to do with being in a tent! We'll be taking DCL transportation from the AKL to the cruise. We don't really need to board early, and it's less expensive for two people to use Disney transportation than to travel any other way, and every $ saved is another $ to spend on the ship!

Do you have a DVC membership? We looked into booking one of the DVC Villas at WL. If a DVC member is not using them, us "regular folks" can book them too. I wanted to book it for the washer/dryer in the room. But, I learned there is a laundry facility onsite at WL. So, we booked a regular room with bunk beds for the kids. I will be doing laundry on Friday, our relaxation day, before the cruise. We aren't doing any parks that Friday. We plan to swim in the pool and dinner later at Trail's End (Fort Wilderness). We learned from our last trip to take time to relax and enjoy the resort too. :cloud9:

I AM SOOOOO SORRY!!!!! I miscalculated!!! I thought my anniversary was on Wednesday and it's actually TUESDAY!!!! So Pirate Night is the same night as our day at St. Maarten on TUESDAY!!! Hopefully you didn't have some secret way to already make your reservations!!! SORRY!!!!! :scared1:

It's on Tuesday, the 11th then? That's fine, that's the day after my son's 6th birthday. I've got 3 of the 7 days covered, so it's going to be close to something ;)

Does anyone plan to decorate their stateroom door? We did last time and plan to do the same again. We were the only ones on our floor with a decorated door, which made it VERY easy to find our stateroom! :thumbsup2

Yes we are DVC owners. We have points at VWL and BCV. VWL is not our favorite. We have a 2 bedroom and a studio this time so we will have the w/d in the room. That will be nice with 2 babies in tow. :thumbsup2 We will be checking out on Fri and getting rental cars to drive to the port that evening. Not sure what we will be doing all day, but enjoying the resort is a real possibility.
