7 Off Topic Questions

1) What did you think this threads' "Topic" was anyway?
Let's see, I THINK the topic was 12/08/07 cruise.

2) Do we really NEED a topic (yes or no answers are strictly forbidden!!!) <chuckles>
We need lots of topics to get to know each other

3) How many siblings do you have?
Depends...2 siblings, 1 half sibling, 2 step siblings, one deceased step sibling.

4) What are your top 2 hobbies / interests?
Traveling to Disney is my first and second top hobby, whether it is Disneyland, WDW or DCL matters not.

5) What is the first "favorite thing" about DCL that comes to mind when asked ... what do you like most about sailing DCL?
Easy one for me. The people we meet, both fellow guests (DISers in particular) and the incredible cast members. I think a cruise is a cruise, it is the people that give Disney the magic.

6) Same spontaneous type answer as #5 above to this query: What do you like about the DIS forum? Be candid on initial thoughts, please. No trite - well conceived replies...
Again, the people we have met. Initially I gathered info, but after getting to meet other DISers I was hooked! :grouphug:

7) What was YOUR first job that paid $ that was not from your parents or a relative?
I picked fruit at age 7. I was able to make enough money to buy my own school clothes, have a little spending money and buy Christmas gifts for my family. I remember when I was 11 I used my "extra spending money" to buy a harmonica. :lmao: Never did learn to play it or any other instrument! :sad2:

BRACK, I did notice that you have not answered the questions that you posted either time. :confused3

I'm looking for a list, with prices, of excursions on the Eastern from past cruises. Anyone know where I could find them?

Another set of questions in hopes of stimulating more posts on this thread. (I have posted about 10% of the posts so far:rolleyes1)

Now I'm not a math whiz, but I just checked and I think I have posted 24% of the posts on this thread. :surfweb: Guess I gab alot. :confused3 :surfweb:

Let's see.....

1) Our topic here....any and ALL things DISNEY!!! We tend to sail from topic to topic.
2) Sure!! It helps to keep the conversations going! And it's funny to see what crazy topics come up.
3) I have one older brother and a sister-in-law/diser (eeyore1928).
4) My top two hobbies are, (don't laugh) music and fighting. I am into mixed martial arts, and for anyone that doesn't know what that is, think Ultimate Fighting/UFC.
5) My favorite thing about DCL is the thought of lounging around taking naps on board and on beaches.
6) Favorite thing about the DIS forum? Seeing where everyone lives. The thought of all of us being from around the world in one location is COOL!!
7) My first job that I was paid for was a dishwasher in a cafeteria in our mall. Eww! NEVER AGAIN!

The ability to have the perfect blend of family time and alone time with my dh. DD loves the club so much that we are afraid we may not see her on this cruise :rotfl2:

6) Same spontaneous type answer as #5 above to this query: What do you like about the DIS forum? Be candid on initial thoughts, please. No trite - well conceived replies...
Oh, all the useful information that you can't get in any book or other website! It made our first cruise so enjoyable knowing all the "tricks" the first time around. It made packing and everything so much easier!!!

7) What was YOUR first job that paid $ that was not from your parents or a relative?
I was a server in a small diner where they are famous for charcoal grilled burgers. Our outfits were frilly blue dresses with puffy sleeves and aprons.

1. What is your favorite word? Disney!!
2. What is your least favorite word? (words) See ya real soon!

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Another tie: "We've been expecting you" and "What took you so long?" :lmao:

1. Getting to know our fellow cruisers
2. Never, we don't need a topic
3. No siblings
4. Reading and traveling
5. Meeting the nicest people
6. Making friends (we are still in touch with people from our other five cruises)
7. File clerk for Blue Cross

Woo Hoo. Our friend's back surgery was a success and he did not miss as much work as they thought. They are now getting prices to cruise with us after all. They are not DISers, so when they make reservations I will notify everyone with the stateroom number and their names. I think they will want to do the Secret Santa, too.

Does anyone remember if the movies in the theaters have closed captioning?

:cheer2: Hoooray!!! for your friend's surgery :cheer2:

As for closed captioning I don't remember, I don't think so but, it's Disney and they think of everything, so there is probably a special box or something for people who need it.

Great news!!!! :cool1:

So I went to the dollar store today and found some cute little Disney things for our Secret Santa for the kiddies.. I'm still not sure what to do with the adults. I still have plenty of time though.

Did anyone else see the thread about not being able to hang things on the doors anymore??? I hope this does not include the fish!
