Hi Everyone!!
I hope you all like the thread I started. Feel free to post on it too. Make sure I have the right information on it.
I don't need adult ages but the children's are needed for gift wise. Oh and if you are celebrating, please.... let me know and I will add it on the list.
Ohh yes and IF you have allergies or prefer Non Smelly gifts I can add that to the list too.

I am sooooooo Excited !! :santa:

This thread is quiet everyday. I hope we get a little more active as we get closer to the cruise.

This thread was started over a year ago so that means less than one post per day.
:confused3

Hi.. Checkin In.. :cool1:

DH & I decided we would like to try and get Palo's for one of the nights for Dinner. Not sure which one though. I was kinda hoping Not to miss Pirate night.

We are looking into the Doubloon Sail & Snorkel - Turtle Cove @ Buck Island excursion for St Thomas/St John

I'm hoping for our 2 & 1/2 days at sea, that there will be some nice onboard activities. I'm not a big Bingo fan and DH & I don't drink or dance. We do attend the Art Auctions even though we never bought anything. It is fun to see how much it goes for. I attended the shopping information meeting last cruise just to kill some time. DH & I did some Pin Trading too which was fun.

Are there any Pin Traders coming?? It would be nice to maybe trade a few if you are planning on bringing your Pins.

We're trying for the Doubloon Sail & Snorkel excursion too!! My DW LOVES turtles and so we thought that would be great for the two of us!

We want to do Palo's as well, but the only problem is we want to do it on our anniversary which is on Pirate night. The only thing I can think of is to make our reservations for kind of early so we can make it to everything. Do you think this is possible?

The Pirate Party does not start until 9:45. You should have time to do a Palo dinner and still get to the party. Pirate dinner is fun though also. Will you be early or late dining?

We buy pins, but don't trade as we only buy what we like and then can't part with them.

As for what to do on sea days...we love to make our own activities. We like to spend time at the Rainforest and then watch the sea roll by while we play skipbo at the Cove Cafe over a mocha. :goodvibes

We're actually signed up for late dining as of right now. Do you think that will be a problem? I've got so many things lined up for that day since it is our anniversary, from a half day at Orient beach, to a Rasul treatment, to Palo's, to Pirate night. It should be a fun day!!! :goodvibes

We want to go to Orient Beach just the two of us.... Is anyone else going to Orient Beach?

:tinker: Jennifer

Just had a thought, and COMPLETELY say no if you want, but we could always try and split a cab to Orient if you want, just to try and cut down on the cost. Then again, if you and DH want some alone time  finally without the kids I understand too!!

No problem with late dining. I guess I would skip the pirate dinner and do Palo since it's your anniversary and you have such a full day planned. You can do Palo at 6:30 or 7 and still make the pirate party fine. :thumbsup2

Me too!!! That was Why I wanted to go, I love Turtles and Dolphins. I was a little upset to read No touching the turtles.
When we were in Bora Bora you were allow to touch them, if you could catch one. I had a Playful Turtle because we played Tag!!! We would chase each other back and forth. It was so cool !!!

Last Cruise, DH & I went to Palo at 5pm and was still able to check on DS because he went to sit with our Table Mates but we had late seating for 8:30 dinner. Just plan an early Palo for late dinner.

Expect at least 2 hours at Palo or more. They don't rush you at all and the food isn't quick. Last year, we were with friends, 6 of us and spent 4 hours at Palo, eatting and talking.

A lot of people like Palo's for dinner but we have chosen not to do it because we really love the rotation dining with our tablemates. This past cruise we only four people at our table so the night they went to Palo's we actually had a dinner by ourselves.

That's a lot for one day but it should be fun! :thumbsup2

I have been working on our trip to WDW in September but still have to book at DVC resort. I know some of you have stayed at AKL .... is it worth it? :confused3
