Last Dec was the same. They offered reduced 12GTY, then Florida and Military rates and it got fairly full. Still not completely though

I'm hoping they offer a military rate, so I can get a lower price on DB's and DSis' cabins.

Oh by the way, I finally cooked that cherry pie I had in the freezer! Warm cherry pie with vanilla ice cream...yum.

We are going to try to loose a couple of pounds, so we are starting a low fat diet today. So, no more apple pie for DrHug for awhile. Thanksgiving he will get a treat.

They just announced military rates at the resorts, but they are blacked out on the dates we'll be there :upsidedow

I need to lose more than a couple. I do my cherry pie splurge once year, so that's it for 2007.

Yep. I have some friends who went on a DCL cruise with similar results. They said it was okay, but didn't remember any thing about what was going on around them. When I questioned them further I found out that they stayed in the room most of the time. They had a veranda, and I guess they never read their Navigator. In fact, they didn't seem to remember the Navigator. :confused3 ???? Maybe they treated it as junk mail.???? They did sit on the veranda a lot. No excursions either. Anyway, I started to wonder if they had been on DCL at all.:lmao: But, it's okay, as long as that's what they enjoyed doing. To this day I am afraid to get a cabin with a veranda. It might be a distraction and I want to be out and about while I am still able. LOL. Too much to do & not enough time.

Um, guess I should have read on before I posted this story! :lmao:

Someone who just returned from the Sept 1 cruise reported that the onboard booking agent speculated that DCL would be doing something similar to the 07 Med cruises in 09:cheer2:

Have you ever stay at Shades of Green Resort @ WDW?

Yep, we booked through SOG in 2003 and they put us up at the Contemporary for the SOG price. In 2006 we stayed at the renovated SOG. It was beautiful! And the rooms were larger than the garden rooms in the Contemporary.

Aww! Thank You! :goodvibes
I was 7 and she was 2....;) :lmao: Well, that's how old we feel now anyway..... It has been a wonderful 40 years. Our first kiss was on the bridge in front of the castle. It was a quick one. I just had to "Kiss de Girl". I was in uniform, back from my first tour in VN. She made me feel like the handsome prince.:cloud9: It was Wonder and Magic from then on......A true Cinderella story. princess:

And he was (is!) a handsome prince. Well, actually he was a handsome soldier!
