We're home too. Had an uneventful trip, just alittle rushed. We were scheduled for breakfast at 7:45 BUT had to get off the ship by 8:00 if we wanted our bags to be brought to the airport so we were like mad people.
I got sick Mon a.m. but after putting on the patch by the evening I was fine. The rest showed no signs of it. Loved meeting everyone, sorry I didn't get to all but it was fun seeing the doors as I delivered the gifts. Hope no one was allergic to the "Spices". Chachere is my maiden name and that is made in my hometown but not close enough related to get any royalties. We bought into the DVC so I'm sure I'll meet up with some in the future. Still washing clothes and catching up on the sleep.

That is very cool! I cannot wait to try the spices...but not cooking tonight. I'm not sure what I'll feed DrHug, but he is just so easy that anything will do.

Well my dh wasn't sure if he was sick or hungover :rotfl: . As it turns out, it was both.

:lmao: :lmao:

Dh and I are having the same problem, we want our house to stop moving!! I even felt it when I was sleeping last night. At one point I woke up still thinking I was on the ship!! :rotfl2:

I love that feeling!! I only feel it when I lay down or sit down and close my eyes. Like now, eyes closed, back on the ship. :goodvibes

Hey everyone
Had so much fun... The boys loved running to the door every time we went to the room and getting their little presents... I have to tell y'all I bingo'd twice and my mom once...:woohoo: :woohoo: we didn't win the big one but thats OK. We are booked again for Dec. 09 wish we could '08 but don't want to cut our AK stay short.

I am so sorry about not following through with the door contest but I left my bag of door stuff at home. BUT, I did manage to put up my two cricut pieces of mickey and minnie, someone took my minnie :sad1:

We were stuck at the airport for 12 hrs. SAT  The boys basically just slept the whole time we were there.

DD, Sweetpea also won at bingo! I am not lucky at that kind of thing and have just accepted that if I play I will be making a donation for the fun of playing. Sorry you were at the airport for so long. :grouphug:

We are also home from the cruise.
Thank you to all the Secret Santas for the fun gifts we received. It was so much fun to check our stocking every time we returned to our room. My husband was like a kid again.
I finally learned how to open the verandah door all by myself (only took 6 cruises).:lmao:
We booked onboard for January 3, 2007. St Croix and St Thomas.
My friend and I got sick on Monday (thanks, Olga) but our husbands did not.
We had a great rotation. We loved our servers.
Everything was good.
Sorry I did not get to meet some people. We enjoyed the DISers we were able to spend some time with.
All in all it was a great cruise and we can't wait to do it again.

Our friend's husband is hearing impaired and I feel Disney fell short by not having movies with closed captioning and also the announcements on television. He was a good sport, he went to the shows and movies with us, but it would have been nice if there was CC.

Angie, how was your niece's home when she returned? I thought about it the whole cruise.

She will be dealing with it today. We got home late Saturday night and she stayed at her brother's house. I have not talked with them since leaving the airport Sat. night, but I believe they stayed at my sister's last night. Today will be a rough one for her and her family, seeing the devastation is so hard. Thank you for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.

Emi,
I wanted to tell you I saw you running between the stores in your dress and you looked absolutely beatiful, I would have stopped to talk but you looked like you were in a hurry...:thumbsup2

We're at MCO waiting to check in to get into the secure area. We're here about 3 hours early but ran out of things to do after checking out of the hotel. Cindy and I are both excited to get home and sleep in our bed!

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!!!!!! :wave2:

We got home after 1am and I was just way to tired to post... We have as bad winds here as we did in Disney.. but we got NO Snow!!! :woohoo:

I just wanted to say.. before I go back and play Ketchup... That I had the most wonderful time with ALL of you.. and Thank You.. :grouphug:

Well I swore I wouldn't sail in 2009 after all the intrigue surrounding the itineraries which turned out to be nothing special, but....

I just changed the res we booked onboard to Sept 12, 2009 (Eastern itin with Tortola). They had some great prices on this date! I was able to get a mid-ship cat 3 for over $1,000 less than I paid on the last cruise!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!!! We are booked on this one too, and so is Marsha and Rag Doll.. and... maybe some more... *nudge* nudge** Emi & Tina :rolleyes1

I was worried too.. Thanks for the mini update and when you speak with her.. Please fill us in.. I hope it isn't too Bad.. but, I know the damage 4 feet of water can do :sad2:

We rode Spaceship Earth too !! We enjoyed it.. :thumbsup2

Saturday after we left the ship we went home, I washed 2 loads of laundry and DH & I finished moving, adjusting and putting together the rest of the furniture.. well almost all of it.. :rolleyes1

We have ALL 5 Beds together, all 4 dressers in the Bedrooms, all 4 night stands in the bedrooms *although I need another for our room* :headache: I forgot and ordered 1 not 2..

The kitchen table and chairs are assembled and ready to be used..

The couch and loveseat for upstairs in the loft is still downstairs wrapped up.. We left that for DH & his friend to move on the next trip down..

The dining room table and chairs are in the dinning room but the table needs it's legs on, but DH was too tired and didn't have the right screwdriver.. The chairs he assembled back in November..

We still need to figure out what to do with one of the front rooms.. Formal living room, seating room, study.. who knows :confused3

We showered, ate at Olive Garden then met his Andy's Aunt & Uncle at MK for some rides, Fireworks, Icecream and the Parade..

Sunday we slept in a bit, Picked up his Aunt & Uncle and showed them our house.. Aunt Michele took pictures popcorn:: Then we went to Epcot.. Ate in Germany.. and rode Spaceship Earth.. Ohhh and we saw the Bridge up as the world tanker thingy swam by.. It was amazing and of course I was too stunned to take pictures.. Instead I just stared at the Earth as it floated on by in front of us.. We have never seen that before.. It was really cool..

We didn't get a chance to get Gingerbread Men from the Grand Floridian :guilty: but we were afraid we might get stuck in Security at the airport.. But.. Nope.. got there early and waited.. We got to Atlantic City airport around Midnight..

Went right to Bed.. we were exhausted...

on our way home - we are at the hyatt in a day room - for those of you who know about hubby getting really sick on the cruise - he is doing some better but will be going to ER when we get home - he is bearing travel on peracet so we can get home to our local dr.'s.

Hope everyone had a great time!

Krisann... I do hope it isn't serious.. Please keep us informed.. He has been in my thoughts all weekend long.. Prayers, Blessings and Pixie Dust :wizard: for a simple case of dehydration and nothing more serious..

:surfweb: We are home and i am so tired i am suprised i have the strength to type! Randy and I keep joking that we will soon hear the "When you wish upon a star" bell and Brent will have an announcement for us!
We were at epcot and got to ride space ship earth. I took lots of pictures if anyone is curious.
Off to go nap/unpack

Hi to Emi & your DH Randy :thumbsup2

It was awesome to have you two as Tablemates and Excursion buddies and Art Auction participants..

I'm still laughing at the fact that Randy was in his Tux at the Art Auction only an hour before the Wedding.. He said you Kicked him out!! :lmao: But hey you won a nice piece of Art work from the raffle and you won the Bid on your etching.. Do you have spots picked out for them yet? We have plenty of bare walls in Florida for the one we won..

I'm still bummed we didn't win the Don "Ducky" Williams lithographs... but, $1,000 for one is too much in my opinion.. And it just wasn't meant to be for us with his Give A Ways from the Lecture either.. but.. Wow.. it was an amazing story of his life.. I enjoyed it Both times we heard it..

It's a Great feeling to sleep in your own bed.. in your own room.. of your own house.. :cloud9: Saturday we slept in our Florida home but Last night I slept alot better knowing I was in my "real" bed

Hope your flight home was an easy one...

We had some shakes and shimmers but nothing that delayed us..

Well, we were given some Bad news when we returned to Cell Phone range after getting off the ship.. DH talked to his Mom on Saturday..

DH's BIL has Cancer in his neck.. He is going for surgery Tuesday and then some Kemo for a while.. DH said his Mom didn't sound too optimistic but he may have been just too overwhelmed to really listen to her tone of voice.. Apparently he has had it for a while but because his symptoms was dry itchy skin and nightsweats, the DR kept sending him to a dermatologist instead.. :confused3

DH's Sister, DH & Niece, plus Mom & Dad are suppose to be coming down to Florida in April for a week while our DS has off from school.. We are all staying at our house.. They live in Colorado..

Please keep him in your prayers for us.. Thank You in advance.. :grouphug:

Oh yea... DH's Security Camera system was taken by a local CSI team.. There is 2 feet of footage on a guy who robbed 2 different businesses in the same Business park as DH's office...

So much for CSI... they didn't even know how to get the base out of the Camera so they took the whole thing... :headache: DH said there is a key that will release the "core" of the system but no one knew that.. Well they're not suppose to know it either.. Defeats the purpose of "security" if you know it comes out..

Anyway... DH's business was safe.. the Alarm did go off and Police were disbatched but DH lets his employees take home work vans each night for that very reason.. Not to have 15 fully stocked vans sitting in waiting for a thief..

Talking to myself, again, I see :rolleyes1

Can I still have a Pirate if I make it ? :confused3

Came home to a pile of Bills... but an even Bigger pile of Christmas Cards :goodvibes

I love getting the Yearly pictures and seeing how much the cousins have grown :cutie:

pirate: Arrggg...

Ok so.... speaking of pirates... where is Brack?

Please post a picture of the Pirate gathering.. I will save it to my computer and print it out for my Scrapbook... I am totally bummed I missed it but that Migrain came out of nowhere and Hit me hard.. Thank Goodness Advil Migrain, a nap and a cool wash cloth on the neck did the trick..

Oh and does anyone *looks at Brack* have a picture from the Meet & Greet in the Lime Green Shirts? Of course the shirt I made was in the suitcase instead of the carryon bag so I never did get a chance to wear it..
