Yup.. and it is only going to get worse over the next 2 months :headache:

Can't imagine...I have vowed not to SHOP on the weekends from now til January, let alone WORK then. Sorry...at least I'll try not to be one of the cranky ones on the other side of the counter...

:wave2: Hi Brack! It seems like forever since the last time I was online at the same time as you. I am sorry you felt the side effects of the shot. I am hoping that maybe since I had my B12 shot at the same time, it helped? My arm isn't sore or even reddish. I hope I don't jinx it. :rolleyes1

- Jennifer

It appears to affect people differently. We got the shots at our office and no one else reported this symptom .... not even my DW.

:wave2: Howdy right back.

I talked to my DS in Dallas today and he was telling me about the nice weather there. I wish he could go with us on this trip but work is stopping him. :sad1:

Darn work! :lmao:

JoJo will do that to me too :lmao: When he wants attention he'll get between me and the keyboard, then take his nose and push my hand off of the keyboard. :surfweb:

My sister's cat lays down on the keyboard while she's using it. :cat:

Thanks for the congrats! I wonder if that increases my efficiency rating... :scratchin: Probably not!

Our DISdog does that too. But, he also does it when Bill and I are on the couch trying to relax or even just standing and talking to each other. If there isn't a kid between us it is the dog. Poor DISdog doesn't know he is going to be boarded again for two and a half weeks. I try and take him for rides in the care whenever possible. So, he doesn't think every time he gets into the car it is to the vet or the kennel. He is always like a whiney kid when we get home after having him boarded. He give us a look like, How come I couldn't come too?" It is quite pathetic. We drove to WDW a few years ago with him and left him at my Dad and girlfriends place in Daytona Beach. He travels well. But, they said he barked and barked and barked. So, we won't be doing that again for awhile.

Driving from our house in NJ to our house in FL takes about 18 hours.. Give or take a few depending on traffic and weather

We normally stop in Emporia VA at a hotel then continue the next day.. It's a nice break from the drive

I used to stop at Potomic Mills, they have an Ikea. We have one in Atlanta now, but now that I am older I din't enjoy it as much.

Okay, time to get the kiddos ready for bed...and I wish I hadn't noticed that count!

Well, let me just say that I AM glad we upped to the 7 day over the 4 day...I'd never have wasted as much time with that other group! ;) I think they only have a couple of hundred pages! :sad2: Seriously, it's been a lot of fun here, and I'm looking forward to meeting you all. Soon! :woohoo:

Ok, bedtime...see you later...

Well, in all honesty, I love my job.. I love the kids and I have alot of fun.. We don't have Black Friday sales so I'm not worried for that either.. I'm not going to like having to go to work at 7am on Saturday but, I'll deal..

My problem is the way my Managment team runs the schedule.. That is why Mr. Big Wig came in the other day.. Too many employees called him about the scheduling.. :sad2:

:thumbsup2 It was gorgeous today, in the low 80's here. The kids were in the backyard playing in the sandbox in SHORTS. However, it is suppose to get colder on Thursday and Friday (highs in the 50's). :cold:

DOH!!!:headache:
Note to self next time you pop in look at the post count...:surfweb:

Won't be able to chat again till tonight, Congrats on the pirate coastgirl:thumbsup2

I used to stop at Potomic Mills, they have an Ikea. We have one in Atlanta now, but now that I am older I din't enjoy it as much.

My Mom lives not too far from Potomic Mills, about ten/fifteen minutes south of it. When I lived with them, my short time in Virginia, I use to love browsing IKEA. A couple of years ago, they built one not too far from us in Frisco, Texas. You would have thought the Pope was in town that opening weekend. It was a madhouse!:scared: There was such a hype about the opening. When we were driving to San Antonio last time, we noticed they built a new IKEA in Austin right off I-35. They are sprouting up everywhere. My first encounter with an IKEA was in Belgium. So, Wendy is probably familiar with them over there too. I am very proud of my 50 cent IKEA drinking glasses. They had great sales the first weekend they opened. The Swedish meatballs it the cafeteria are yummy too. popcorn:: :cool1:

:sad1: JoJo is 14 years old and we have never had him boarded. We have always been lucky enough to have a "baby-sitter" come to the house and stay with him.

He has spent only one night in his life at the vets and that was just after his major cancer surgery about 6 years ago.

YES HE IS SPOILED!

I just got an Email, with this as the signature line..

When you are making out your Christmas card list this year,

please include the following:
A Recovering American soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue,NW
Washington,D.C. 20307-5001

So, looking at the menus, I'm wondering...what's a good bet for lunch?? I keep seeing mention of the "rotating buffet", is it Topsider's or Parrot Cay? Sounds like it might have some interesting stuff. Dd is already planning on shrimp, EVERY day. princess:

I've only been to the first day buffet. I understand each of the 7 days is a different theme, American, Asian, Italian, Mexican etc.. The Passporter says what days, but my book is upstairs. We did eat lunch at Triton's/Lumineres, and they have shrimp cocktail and a really good burger!!

Stacy:

Thank you for the address. I just finished addressing our Christmas cards and they are sitting right by me in the office (just waiting on stamps and December 1st). So, I will make one out to them too. Thank you again for the address. We just had a local soldier killed in Iraq by a roadside bomb. So sad.

They are all in our prayers not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year.

Bill just got home. So, it is feeding time at the zoo over here. Everyone have a great evening! Until later . . .

Going to go watch some TV and sit with JoJo .... although he will probably not notice with all that snoring he is doing right now. :lmao:

I think each item on the menu is only one point.:lmao:

Oh, phew! I'm soooo glad you cleared that up for me! :lmao: (And the text code for that smilie should be LMAAO "laughing my AMPLE *** off".)

My problem is the way my Managment team runs the schedule.. That is why Mr. Big Wig came in the other day.. Too many employees called him about the scheduling.. :sad2:

I must say, it would drive me nuts to be on call the way you are. I reeeeeally hate it if my routine is unpredictable. (And you're saying, "but she's a mom..." what can I say, it's had its challenges!!;) )

I love Ikea. Closest one to us is I think Montreal. Sigh.

I think I have a friend near there, I'm sure I've heard of Frisco TX...my US geography is terrible, do you know of a town/development/whatever called "The Colony"? (That's her mailing address, but really, no one calls a town "The Colony". That's Real Estate Developer talk...)

Night JoAnne and please tell Liam I'll get DS7 to send him an e-mail soon. Thanks!

Oh, I think we're the ones in arrears...he's really excited, but um, Mooooom, that's not what the computer's for! Really??

Ok, can't tell dd about the shrimp cocktail if we want to go anywhere else!! princess:

Seriously, I'm very proud of my princess tonight. We had "parent teacher night" at preschool and she's doing great. I know she's smart, but as we found out with ds, smart ain't enough to succeed. Ds is more overtly curious, more interested in figuring things out and "collecting" knowledge, but
she's already waaay ahead of where he was at 5 on things like reading readiness, fine motor skills, and general classroom "skills". It's just so nice to go talk to people who want to tell you what a great kid you've got! :cloud9:
