Ok.. so.. BAB story time..
When I was hired, I was not aware my Manager was leaving to go to the New Disney Store in Atlantic City for almost double of what BAB was paying him..

My friend of 11 years is the Assistant Manager of BAB and was up for the Management position.. Well she was over looked and they hired my current Manager..

Well it seems to be that Noone likes him.. :sad2: Everyone complains about the way he "manages" the Assistant Managers and the other Employees.. He never has the schedule done on time nor is it ever fair to all the employees..

Ok so I found out Yesterday that several people have called the Home Office on him and complained.. Soooooooo tomorrow at 7:30am.. a Big Wig is coming to our store for a Special Meeting... I don't go in til 10 am so who knows if I will meet Mr. Big Wig or not.. but if I do and he asks me.. I have a few things to tell him..

I wish I could be a fly on the wall at their meeting though.. I just hope that when I do get to work.. Everyone isn't in a Bad moood.. I'm glad I should only be there til 1:30..

:rolleyes1

This whole Hannah Montana thing bugs me. As with all popular concert events, ticket brokers and scalpers buy the tix and resell them WAAAY above face value. Let's be honest, this isn't The Police (which I went to see!) whose average fan has the bucks to spend...these are KIDS and their poor parents.

I wanted to buy as many tix as I could for the show near me in Albany, NY, just so I could give them at face value to some poor kid whose parents can't afford a $500 ticket.

I realize this country is built on the capitalist ideal...but this just takes it too far and kids suffer.

(When I run for Prez, this will be one of my "hotbutton" issues, along with making another Federal holiday between President's Day and Memorial Day):cool1:

Having teen boys, I don't really follow a lot of the Hannah Montana stuff, although we have been known to watch an episode or two :rolleyes1

I have made some extra cruisin' money selling H.M. shoes and purses on ebay though :woohoo: That stuff sells GREAT! :thumbsup2

I just read a news story about a recent class-action lawsuit against Smiley Miley Inc and someone else regarding the fan club. Apparently when you join one of the benefits is supposed to be better access to tickets, but that obviously isn't happening.

So what's your ebay name - I sell some also, very very part time.

You are very welcome. Congrats on your pirate BTW.

You sounded bitter earlier so thanks.

 I go to work for a couple days and you all go into hyperspeed posting mode :scared1: Almost a thousand posts ...... and I have to read them all. :scared:

Yes you do! Because each one is very important. We need to know if you are going to be joining the Thong Boys. :lmao:

I wonder if on the ship they set up "photography only" lines. Since we are doing the pillow case thing, we will not be worrying about autographs. It really is not like DD at 4 really cares about them, YET.

We think she will love her pillow cases though. I hope we can get TINK to sign.

Nope, although there are some character meetings where they do not sign at all and do only photo, but they do not set up separate lines.

Want to get even madder? The process to get a wheelchair seat and companion seat are this: When the tickets go on sale at ticketmaster you have to email them and request a wheelchair accessable seat. Then you wait for them to email you back, and at that point you hope they reserved you one. Then you confirm you want them and pay for them. It is done by email, you cannot buy them online or stand in line at a ticket outlet.

So, we did just that the day of the presale and did manage to buy 2 tickets at $53.00 each. One for my 15 year old daughter in a wheelchair and one for myself. Then later I went on gotickets.com to see if I could get one more companion seat. They were selling the wheelchair seating right next to us for $260.00!! They went and lied, saying they needed wheelchair seating, then scalped them. So, not only did they use computer software to gobble up all the regular tickets, then they go and lie to get even more tickets. That is pretty scummy.

I am definately not denying you your eBay profitability...I love eBay! And selling some HM shoes and purses doesn't hurt anyone...jacking concert tix up by FIVE TIMES face value is just wrong.

Seriously...what will I do when this cruise is over? What will I do with the hours I am on this board? :rotfl2:

Has anyone seen the Lion King (Broadway version)? It is coming to Atlanta in the Spring. The last time it was here I was expecting DD (5).

We saw it in Portland. It was amazing, amazing, amazing. :yay: Did I mention that we enjoyed it? ;)

Well have sessions with no signing is better than nothing. The rudest people I ever met at DL were waiting to see Buzz and all my DD wanted was to say hello and get a picture. The CM in the suit was WONDERFUL.
