Wow, I wish I had know this before I bought tickets. I guess it will be fun/crowded to be on the NASA grounds the day of the launch.

Did you catch the note about what to do in the event the shuttle explodes. The radiation or something! Sit in your car, no A/C, wait for further info.

Thanks for the info. I hope we don't have to use it. It would have been nice to see the launch from KSC. But, the tickets were sold out and we didn't want to see it from the Visitor's Center because you can't see the initial lift off with the fire and all. At least from Titusville, we'll be able to see lift off. I'm glad you were able to get tickets. Have fun!

I am working on our door sign now. I am pretty slow at photoshop, i think that would take me 6 hours to make the sign. So i am making mine the old fashion way. Like a scrapbook page...well kind of.

DrHug is working on Door Signs for my mom and the rest of the crew. They liked the ones he did for us when I showed them Thanksgiving. Now they all want him to make theirs.

That is good news to know that Waffle House went smoke-free. We'll be your way on our way to MA sometime this Spring. We didn't take our roadtrip last summer. So, we really need to get to MA sometime in 2008. We drive through the whole state of TN on our way to VA. It is a looooooooooooooooooong drive.

I've come down with a cold! This is NO GOOD!! I've been loading up on Airborne and vitamin C today. Bought some nightime and daytime tylenol cold on the way home so I can sleep and breath during the day. Hope DrHug does not get it around this weekend just when we are leaving. I'm not giving him any kisses this week!!

I have Christmas music playing on the radio while I'm online. It is getting me into the spirit of the holidays. We have a local station that plays nothing but holiday music from the third week of November until New Year's Day. It is great. However, if you listen to it long enough you hear every song a million times. We have a great Christmas CD bill bought off one of those tv commercials. I think it from Time/Life CDs. It has all the favorites and by the artists who did the best version of the songs. There are some stranger versions of Christmas songs out there.

DS2 has played so much with his Rudolph, that we need to change the battery in the nose already. He loves his Rudolph. DD5 is planning on bringing Clarice onboard. She brings Clarice EVERYWHERE since she got her. DD5 had her at the Christmas Parade last Friday and got many admiring looks from other little girls. Clarice even got her own seat at the parade since DS2 stayed in his stroller. DD5 wants Clarice to come on the cruise and roll down the hallways. She loves those rollerskates!

Thanks for asking. The bruise is just a quarter sized spot on his cheek now. The ladies at his Daycare are surprised at how fast he healed up.

Glad to hear he is doing better. They are VERY resiliant at this age. Thanks goodness!

Since Dennis is a pharmacist, what does he recommend for a common cold? We have taken Zicam and Sudafed with great results. I was sick a couple of weeks ago. The purple Sudafed always works for me and I use the Zicam if I start to get that "feeling" in my throat like I am going to get sick. Does Airborn work well?

Since I am talking medicine, I bought the Benadryl they advertise being portable. It comes in little individual viles. However, what they don't tell you in the commercial is that you need scissors to cut the vile open. I would have thought you could tear it or it would have a pull tab. Nope. Who carries scissors around? Especially today, they would probably be considered a weapon if found in your purse.
