sorry suys for dissappearing, was in play off (whac-a-mole) and came in last....:sad2: I always forget which sound I am....:confused3

Jason congrats on the pirate earlier and I am so sorry about your little one :grouphug: but thank goodness little ones sure do recover quickly ....:thumbsup2

IMO everyone is a Parent of the Year that helps make sure that their kids stay healthy and teach them right from wrong. Everything else is gravy at that point. :)

I successfully taught DD (2) how to do "the robot"...although at this point, telling me when she needs to use the potty seems more beneficial...

We had to give DS2 the special Enfamil formula (in the pink container) because he would spit up so much. It worked great! :thumbsup2

- Jennifer

She's on Isomil Advance (soy) and meds BUT she's nothing like DD6 who had it so bad til age 1. She sleeps on a special wedge and we stay up aleast 1 hour after each bottle. I had her weened off by 4 month appt but I think it was the next day she started again even worse. She actually affixiated alittle 2 weekends ago and had the rattle in her chest for a week but now she's better. DD6 was finally put on Nutrigimen at 3 months when we finally got a diagnosis. With this one we did the formula changes when she was born in the hospital and after 3 changes in 2 days they said SOY was her best option. She's so much easier than DD6 was and maybe when we start food in a month or so she'll be off the meds. We have good days and bad ones as the worst is to change clothes 10 times per day for both of us since Soy smells so much.

I was cooking and eatting dinner then cleaning the kitchen..
Congrats on the pirate

Watching Law & Order right now.. It is the Good One!!

Awwwww Jason I am soooo sorry but Ryan is such a Cutie.. I hope nothing is broken or fractured.. And some :wizard: for a speedy quick recovery..

:confused3 I'm sorry to hear about all the feeding issues. :sad1: We tried soy with DS2 too. But, he really did NOT like it. It does have a funny smell to it. Even when I first opened the canister, you could tell the difference between the soy and milk-based formula. I wish you all the best with your child. :goodvibes

both of my nieces have acid reflex and were both on meds and nutramigen...poor little guys could never keep anything down and their tummies always made these nosies and were just miserable all of the time but once they started on solids they are A. OK

Can I ask who the Make A Wish cruise was for? My DH's good friend has a 6 yr old fighting cancer and they got to go to WDW but a cruise would be even better.

I think I can answer a couple of post all in one here. First, the Make a Wish wish was for my 15 year old daughter who has some medical issues. Sorry to hear about your child's friend with cancer, my cousin has a child with cancer too. That is one tough road to travel. Make a Wish only grants one wish, but I know there are more groups, especially cancer related, that will grant 2nd wishes in some instances.

Second, I do know that we did not have to have passports to travel this time. But since we do have a child with some medical issues, we thought it best to be prepared. I already have my passport, so I thought I'd go ahead and get the hubby his, but then it would be nice to have the two adult children to have theirs, just in case we have to split up, so then of course my 15 year old daughter with the medical issues should have hers, then that only left the youngest two, so what the heck, I might as well get everybody one. That is the same reason we went with vacation insurance (not through Disney though). It was worth 160.00 bucks to know we could get back our
5k if my daughter gets sick again.

Its 10:22 eastern time. Almost one more day closer!!! :hourglass

I have the CC Landyards minus the pins for you..

I should have 2 more hanging in my FL closet.. I would like to keep 1 but DH won't need the other one so I should have 1 more left up for grabs.. I think Wendy might need one.. :confused3

Did anyone hear about MGM opening a HUGE casino in Atlantic City? :confused3 DH said he "thinks" that is what he heard

Every year the teachers would have a door decorating contest and all of the teachers would vote on their top 3 favorites and was wanting to do this on the ship if we have any takers, I will pick up 3 nice little prizes for the winners. I will make make slips with everyone's (participants) room number and you can mark your 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice and drop those off into my stocking by wednesday night and will tally the votes that night and give the "trophies" out on thursday morning. So what does everyone think, if you would like to vote but not enter let me know.

Any takers!!!!

Jennifer - the pink Enfamil is milk based with added rice, wish they had that in soy but no luck

Nutramigen is milk based also but weird thing was DD6 tested allergic to milk at 3 months and they left her on that with meds

Baby girl is so much easier I'm not complaining as we've been sleeping mainly all night since 4 months unlike other one. And believe me there's no way you would say she was Preemie by her figure now.:rotfl2: DD6 was 2 weeks earlier than this one (4 weeks) and she was healthier than a horse other than the Reflux.

Did anyone hear about MGM opening a HUGE casino in Atlantic City? :confused3 DH said he "thinks" that is what he heard

From USA Today website:

MGM Grand plans Atlantic City's biggest resort
Casino giant MGM Mirage is betting on Atlantic City, and betting big. Today the casino giant announced plans for Atlantic City's biggest resort. Plans call for a $4.5 billion-$5 billion, 3,000-room MGM Grand Atlantic City. It is expected to open in 2012.
