Someone upthread asked about DUCT tape. Well I found some HOT PINK duct tape at Wal-mart today. I put it on the OUTSIDE of all of our luggage that we do not carry onto the ship.

In a sea of 5-6,000 bags, it sure makes finding your easier. When most everyone is looking for dark green, or blue or black, we just look for the duct tape stripe. So this cruise it will be THINK PINK!!!

Just becareful that the Duct tape doesn't leave a sticky residue on your luggage and ruin it.. And that it doesn't extend over the zippers or the zippers might stick due to the stickiness.. Oh and have something to cut the tape off with if it gets in the way.. My luck I'd do something like that and ai wouldn't be able to open my suitcase again..

I picked up pillow cases and fabric pens today. Do you think I should wash them before bringing them? (The pillow cases not the pens). I read to bring fabric pens versus sharpies.

I would wash the Pillow cases Before bringing them.. This way any extra fabric coloring will be washed away and not stain you DD jammies also I think they may tell you on the Fabric Pen to Prewash as well... Might make the Pen show up better.. Oh and, from experience, Sharpies bleed when washed on certain fabrics..

You are so sweet, now I wish my kids were coming ...ok...maybe not so much!!

I said the same thing about our DS.. I wish he was coming because I know he would enjoy meeting you all.. since "Mom" always talks about this Cruise and the people... But at the same time.. This is DH & my 1st Real vacation ALONE in a long time..

Did someone already post that Dec 1 cruisers have started gettign their docs? I just saw it on the main board.

Fully expecting to be the last to get mine, what with getting them all the way up here (dogsled delivery, you know ) plus we used a TA, so I understand that slows them down--but please share when yours arrive (like people won't! ) so I can get even more frenzied as I wait! (And again, I really love that little hyper guy. )

Us too... with a PO Box, which DCL won't deliver to and a Florida resident rate and another NJ address.. Who knows where or when we will see ours..

Who were the people who wanted an offical Castaway Club landyard that didn't get or have any? I have 3 of them Unused but I did steal the pins off of them to trade in September..

Thanks. We have cruise and airline luggage. We leave the tape for the cruise.

Well I am not sure why but Dis' is really slow sluggish and laggy.. Guess it didn't drink it's Prune juice and eat it's fiber today

DH came home today early with a 102.7 degree fever. DR. said it was the beginning of a sinus infection though his nose is not stuffy. He tested negative for the A & B strains of the flu. After bathing DD, I need to head to our closest CVS for the miracle Z-Pack!!! He has the chills and is miserable.

You didn't miss an offending comment on Spanx. We played with word..spanx..we got a little risquee with it. A double entendre shall we say, and 1 person got offended. Everyone else was Laughting their butts off .

I never saw the original thong post. I am guessing that she said she was going to wear it on the ship. And I gather that another poster said that it was inappropriate on a family cruise.

Sometimes on here if you are gone for one day...it feels like you have no idea what is going on! I have a 4 year old brother (no typo here...he is 4) who goes around telling people to "shake their buns!" Im sure he would love a good spanx joke!

DrHug had a very close encounter with a thong in the Rainforest. We were in the hot steam room, which is very tight quarters, he was sweating a bunch and so had his eyes closed. He "felt movement" in front of him and opened his eyes to a completely bare rear end and his nose was almost right in it! He was and immediately closed his eyes again. I was One of my many funny stories about my love. So just be aware that anyone wearing a thong may become the butt of one of our family jokes!

I'd definitely take one if you have one available. I already sent off my email telling Disney how disappointed I was they'd just discontinue something like that without any warning. I'll have to think of something to trade you for it.
