There is no presumably about it. I have been a member since September. What does the amount of time one has been registered on a message board have to do with the cliquish nature of this thread? I have been on message boards since I was 13 and am now 27. So don't assume you have been on message boards longer than me. I post my frustration about the brunch over several posts. However the amount of screen space used is less than that of several posters who have posted multiple pictures or shots of their door signs. Just because it is only one post it sure takes up the same if not more amount of space.

Thank you! Bravo to you for proving my point about the clique on this thread going around PM'ng each other about a poster behind their back. Clique through and through. :woohoo: Yep you proved my point ever so eloquently. A bunch of :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: sitting gossiping behind someone's back in the form of PM. Yep, sounds like a CLIQUE to me.

We will agree to disagree as there ARE children reading this thread. I do have a problem reading about SPANX in the context it has been used. And I don't need to take it to PM with some clique.

So wait, you're worried about a play on words about "spanks", yet you brag about your plans to wear a thong swimsuit. Sorry, I'm just going to avoid you from now on, because you seem to like stirring up trouble and causing division. I didn't want to do that, but I'll just take your advice.

:grouphug:

I'd also like to point out that your complaint about the pirate posts is rather hypocritical, as you seem to have gotten 9 pirates in this thread.

Take some of your own advice, and don't read posts if you don't like them. I seem to recall you posting that in this thread several times.

Nobody is being "clique"y. No one is conspiring against you. I know that everyone here has answered questions you have posted. I think you need to grow up.

:sad2:
Well thank you for that LOVELY attack. I never said I didn't go for the pirates and I was NEVER complaining about them. I merely said there was ZERO difference in the two types of posts. I have had two of my types of posts publicly attacked, one about wearing a thong and my frustrations with PALO. No one else has complained publicly about what they has posted. So yes there is a bias and clique mentality when that occurs. I am sorry you do not see it as it is blatantly obvious.

I think those engaging in the attacks and those who have "PM's to prove" something are the ones that need to grow up.

Well sorry about that. As people have posted, a thong and spanx is an ARTICLE of clothing. However using SPANX in the context it has been repeatedly is very inappropriate. There is nothing inappropriate about wearing a thong. It is just the human body and it is all about comfort. Sorry you will be avoiding me.

I was sincere in my post of condolence to you several pages back.

Well my DD reads the thread, and there hasn't been anything here that I have a problem with her seeing. As JoiseyMom pointed out, the adult context of the material goes over her head. Everything here is much tamer than anything you'd see on TV in prime time.

At this point since we only have 57, lets go with non cruise specific and offer the option to the other threads.
Have we decided on what it is going to say??

After reading this I started looking for other December cruise threads - figured at least that way we could use December in the wording. Then I started to think about what a hassle that might be to get the lanyards to them and collect the $.

So I went back on the trusty internet and found another company that said they can do 65 for us, at around $4 each. Which would mean we could do cruise specific! He's going to email me the specific costing.

$4 per is fine with me. Keep me in for 8 :)

has anyone done the BINGO, and what is the charge???

We have played a couple of times. I think you can get a few cards for around $35. It was fun, of course we did not win. :sad2: (we are lucky in love not with gambling! ) We did see a DISer teen win the BIG one on the 10 night 2004 though and that was tons of fun to watch! She was only 17 and could not win, her parents were renewing their vows right at that moment. Mom had bought her a card KNOWING she would not win. Another DISer ran to get the parents, disrupted the renewal and brought Mom back so they could collect the $5000 plus!

That would be perfect!! Thank you, Wendy for doing this for us! I owe you a drink of the day for all your efforts for this group! :thumbsup2

MrsMork:

Has the rise in diesel limited your mobility in the RV. It sounds wonderful and I looked at some online. Slide-outs are fun. Maybe our lottery dreams will come true one day and we too shall own one and then not worry about the price of diesel.

Every where I go from where I live except one Kroger is about 30 minutes away. I easily put 300 miles a week just in doing errands. There is a new Target going in next year which will be closer, but then I think the traffic will be horrendous because of the size of the shopping center and how small the access roads to and from it are.

I love that sense of pride you get when someone compliments you on how well behaved your child is. It is usually followed by that other sense that this person must be crazy because you are remembering what your little Picasso did on the dining room table this morning. :scared:

It is not a diesel pusher, it is a gasoline engine. Right now we are spending our time working on the house, not traveling. But when we do start traveling full time we will not look at price per gallon or miles per gallon. We will look at cost per day. If you travel for a day or two and spend many $$ on gas then park for many days in one area you have to average the dollars per day spent. Hope that makes sense. This summer we only took it over to the coast for a couple of trips. The camping in the State Parks is free for Dennis as he is a disabled veteran, so our cost was only the gas to get there.

$4 each is no problem for us! Keep us posted and THANKS! :thumbsup2

DH and I have played bingo occasionally. Of course the first couple of times we won so we would try again. We haven't won in a long time and have stopped playing. The price is just too high for me. Of course if you win it's a lot of fun and well worth it!:teeth: I'm sure we will try again eventually.

We played too much Bingo on our first cruise :scared1: So, we're going to avoid it this time. It was fun though - if only I could have won something.

I figure those $35 cards could by quite a few drinks! Nothing better than sitting out on deck watching the ocean go by and relaxing with your favorite adult beverage!:thumbsup2

I picked up pillow cases and fabric pens today. Do you think I should wash them before bringing them? (The pillow cases not the pens). I read to bring fabric pens versus sharpies.
