Is there an Official time they start letting you on the ship? We've never been to the terminal where we got a number.. The last 2 cruises we were in a 3 though, so we got the concierge line and had no wait and no number..

What about people who use DCL Transportation at like the butt crack of dawn? Do they have to wait in the terminal too with a call number? Just curious.. We are flying in the night prior to sail date..

While I enjoyed the dinner it was not the end all to end all. It seems to me too much pressure is being put on this one dining experience and like the whole cruise will be ruined if reservations are not gotten. Am I the only one who enjoys the Palo but at the same time would not let it ruin my trip if I could not get a reservation. I almost feel like giving up my reservation just so someone else could have it if it means so much to others.

I'm the same. We liked it well enough, but DH said he really doesn't care about it, so I haven't bothered trying to make reservations. We might talk about it on the flight or the night before the cruise and see if we want to do something then. If we do, I'll go try to make a reservation once we get on board. Otherwise, we'll just enjoy all the other options.

That being said I'd BETTER be able to get a picture with Stitch!! Everyone has things that makes the cruise special for them and I totally understand people being excited about their dinner or brunch ressies.

Oh my - my room number has changed! Our room number is now 5006 - not sure what this means. Have to go check it out where it is located on the ship and read reports!

It means you are now on deck 5...can we say upgrade??

You should go to Ohana's before or after the cruise. I got some great pictures with stitch there. He tried to eat me! We have pics of my head in his mouth!

UH oh. That stateroom does not get good reports as apparently it is over the theatre. Reports list it as being noisy.

Mrs.Mork? How do you like your RV. How big is it? What class? We are thinking of renting when we go to Rushmore.

Georgetown XL 38 foot, class A, three slide outs. It's big. We love it and can't wait to full time - or darn near full time anyway.

Unfortunately, we fly in the night before and fly out the day we get off the ship. It was hard work just getting DH to take that much time off work. Maybe I can talk him into another time though.

So, true. We are very "sue happy" in the US. My Dad's girlfriend is a lawyer and my brother in-law is in his last year of Law School right now. Bill attended Law School too. But, he knew it wasn't for him. It was something he needed to try in order to know it was something he didn't want to do. No regrets! He is very happy and successful in his current profession.

well it looks like we got upgraded from our 10 to an 8! It is down from the kids clubs which since our kids love them and we have agreeded they can stay till 1 am this time if they want this will be great! So we will now know when it is morning and night. Nice surprise but we are just glad to be on the ship!

Oh and did I ever mention that this cruise is also in memory of my mother? Her birthday was December 8th and she died 4.5 years ago at the age of 53 - she was my best friend (aside from my hubby) and I am an only child. She raised me from the time I was 6 when my parents divorced (father lived several states away and only saw him on vacations) so it has been really hard for me the past years. When I was a senior in high school she had planned to take us on a cruise but gave me the money to go to France for 2 weeks with the school instead. She never got to take a cruise. So this means a lot to me to be on it on her birthday.

Yes, I was up late last night and then up early this morning. I need this cruise to get away from the DISboards and relax. I think I will be somewhat relieved when the cruise comes. I probably won't be DISing for our next cruise like this one. It has been great getting to know everyone. But, it is very time consuming too.

I've said that same thing every year for the last 4 years, yet here I am. But I will say that the friends we have made have made the time well worth it.
