My DS and his wife did a Carnival cruise after DCL. He said it was alright but not Disney :confused3

We did Carnival last year. I seriously doubt we'll ever do Carnival again. It probably didn't help that it was a West Coast cruise. And it seems like all the cruise lines shove their older ships to the West Coast. Even so, if we ever do anyone other than Disney again, I still doubt it'll be Carnival. Just not really our "scene." We'd probably try RCCL or Princess.

Congrats on the bathroom! It's a good feeling when it's finished!

Beth

Yes it does! Now for the tile floor and the new fixtures in the other 2 bathrooms. Arrrrrrrrrrr! Fixing the house is like waiting for a pirate: !:rotfl:

Bathroom is painted. It was plumbing holding us up in there. I'm on to painting the master bedroom now. :sad2:

I've been waiting 3 years for DH to finish the banister :sad2:
We stripped it down and he needs to kinda sand it and stain it and seal it..
But... with all our Vacations.. It got put wayyyyyyyy back on the back burner.. Heck I don't think it is even in the Kitchen anymore it was delayed so much

Most Disney cruisers (hard core) that cruise other lines like RCCL the best. At least that is what is said on this board.

Wow... you guys are posting so fast that I can't even get caught up after posting before there's another page.

No way. This is the cheapest I've ever seen it. I think the cheapest I'd seen before was $799/person. But then, I don't check all the time. Only when I think I might actually have a possibility of going. I don't wanna set myself up for disappointment. :lmao:

To find out what weeks might be cheaper next year, go to a website like Orbitz and select the things for Disney and "all dates." It'll bring up all scheduled cruises. For some reason, it puts the Land/Sea packages in with the 7 day cruises. Anyway, just scroll down the list to see where the cheapest amount is. Click on that cruise and then see where the cheapest date is. :)

Wow! I am so excited that I got such a good deal. We had booked a cat 11 last year while on the boat. When I moved it to the cat 12 they let me keep the $200 room credit. THe girl said she was not going to be able to let me keep the $200 but then said her manager said it was okay. I din't even have to aske.:cheer2:

So how many of us are going to get caught with the 40 second rule? :scared:

It's been 18 years here. We are selling so we got motivated! :rotfl:

That's good to know. In my mind, I've almost got DH talked into doing a Med cruise. :rotfl: I just wish I'd done it when Disney was there. :sad2:

From what I've seen other people posting, you can keep the $200 OBC, but not the 10% booking discount. It makes me wonder why they don't just let people do the same thing on the cruise instead of having to come back and do all the changing around. :confused3

I have been waiting 3 years for a kitchen. My husband decided to remodel with no plans. I am so sick of eating out>

Hmmmmm. SHould I go back and try to catch up? :rotfl: :rotfl:
Things are moving fast now. It'll be over in just a few minutes now. Argh! Butterflies. :rotfl:

Same for 3 of the rooms in our group. Cat 11 to 12 gty, $700 savings average.

I just happened to stumble across it as I was scouring sites for a cruise vacation. I *really* wanted to do Disney, like I said and when I came across a deal that was CHEAPER than other lines for 7 days, I didn't even hesitate! I basically booked it, then told DH to clear his calendar!
